Gideon is actually 8 or 9 years old. If you buy the third journal, it will say that Gideon's hair turned white and he turned evil after finding the amulet underneath a playground. This did not happen in the show.

What I love about gravity falls is that it's timeless and has no bad episodes.
Even thow, it looks like 1 of those random shit each episode shows, thers verry little filler as almost everything from the show comes together in the finally.
Come on people remember keep it "exciting free" so he can be ready for all episodes without seeing comments being like "he's gonna love season 2 episodes or i love ___ episode etc" you know?.
The show is really good when you watch it in the dark. It makes you want to rewatch it to find things you didnt notice on the first watch.
Also if you really liked this as a kid some of you might know that gravity falls never had the biggest budget so they had to make grunkle stans actor play multiple people
The actor is even the creator of the show.

Soos, grunkle stan and old man mcgucket being voiced by the same guy is crazy (yes i know its alex hirsch and he voices like 15 characters)
I dont know if you know seb but if you Will go to that scene where mabel is talking to a big dog you need to reverse it or slow it and you'll get hidden messege
