Andres Ruzo explores Iceland, which he describes as a geothermic wonderland. What part of his journey intrigued you the most?
Wow the volcano✌
Beautiful video..... but please use the correct icelandic letters next time :) (perhaps type it both ways).
No one ever questions that nature is heating the planet.
From coal burning underground
Iceland is one big coal furnace powerplant heating the planet
To become a geothermal scientist and then be a part of national geographic in order to be the courageous explorer
I love knowing about volcanos and I am truly obsessed with national geographic
Iceland looks like another planet. Absolutely breathtaking. I can't wait to visit.
Did you ever get to visit?
This is just purely amazing and breathtaking to watch. The beauty that comes with such destructive power is just beautiful. Looking forward to the next adventure 😊. Thanks for sharing National Geographic.
I'd say this show is the best way to learn science without going to a classroom.😁😁😁❤❤
Science? It's geography
@@darraghkeane3895 There is science in everything, inlcuding geography. I think what he meant was volcanos, geysers, boiling rivers, and the way it all works, rather than a "science" as a school subject.
I'm watching it for geography
His excitement and passion is just so endearing.
It’s really exciting to see such an energetic and passionate person doing what he loves to do.
The descend to the bottom of the volcano is out of this world incredible. ♡♡♡
More of Andres Ruzo! I like his passion and way of explaining things.
Hes clearly shooting up before he records
Their passion and enthusiasm is contagious!!
All of us here have one thing in common: we love the beauty of nature.

Such a hardy environment with even more amazing and hardier people, we love you Iceland!
It's a wonderful World!!!!
Several big movies have scenes filmed in these landscapes in recent years like Interstellar, Prometheus and Rogue One just to name a few.
3:10 No, Geysir is just the name of this one geysir which doesnt actually erupt anymore but used to go up to 80 meters, the actual Icelandic word is ‘goshver’
Iceland looks like another planet!

That is very cool .. just made bucket list of places to visit
Beautiful NATURE...
Fascinating!
It's utterly amazing that this geologist sticks his hand, even in thick rubber glove, to take samples in bubbling hot spring, instead of using a rod or the like.
I really like it.
Amazing , always mother nature is best.
wow!!! truly amazing!!
Love this guy's passion

Where u going next???
I'm happy that today I came to know something new
Superb, I love nature.

We've reached the point where the only way to fund science is beer sponsorships. Sounds about right, considering the world today.
That's a bit hyperbolic

NG, this is how you produce a video worthy of the NG name. No text to read between adds.
soundtrack at 1:23?
and I hope National Geographic add soundtracks names in either the video or the description because I really enjoy those soundtracks :)
It's interesting to see hot and cold in the same place.
Love the video very cool
Wow i cant belive i live there🇮🇸😘❤️
that is amazing and feeling so good watching this but how can this be happen that this country is so cold and the river water is hot over 80 to 100°C
ATOZ videos - that is the ‘magic’ of geothermal !
iceland isn't cold really, but neither is it hot. its the harshness of the climate over here that gets you, not the cold
That is A LOT of sulfur.
That's good for destination
Ive wanted to go to Iceland so badly for a good year nowwww
National Geographic opens window for us to see the beauty of this planet.b'coz we could n't visit these places in our life time.
سبحان الله ❤
I wouldnt mind being a geothermal scientist, how do you get that job?
David That's just a title. Typically, you just get a degree in geology, preferably a masters.
and stay away from flat-earthers.
The volcano's name is Eyjafjallajokull, pronounced ay-yah-FYAH'-plah-yer-kuh-duh.
I thought I was looking at the new album's music video from Twenty-one Pilots 😍

Plz can you tell me the song name of 36000 kids you don’t want to mess them
I would have LOVED TO GO THERE!!! But Iceland is so crazy EXPENSIVE 😂
Anyone in a geography lesson watching this?
I wish I could live and die in Iceland..!!! 😍
