If you did not know, Ryan Murphy's image of the last episode was rachel coming back to finn from new york and saying "i'm home", and having them live happily ever after. R.I.P Cory!!
It would have been awful.Who would have believed that a woman who wanted to be in showbusiness since birth would just be happy going back to Iowa and teaching Glee?Nahh.
Noelia Jaime I respectfully disagree. Yes, she dreamed of being in show business and by this point she would have succeeded at achieving the success she craved. But fame won’t keep you warm at night. It would have been beautiful and I’m heartbroken we will never get to see it.
I don’t think “home” means a location. I think her saying “I’m home” means she comes back to Finn who makes her feel like home. In the show, Finn doesn’t really want to leave Ohio and some other stuff happens where he doesn’t want to/ get to leave Ohio so I think it was set up for Rachel to accomplish her career dreams before going to her last dream- Finn who makes her feel like she’s home.
then since Cory passed they made Rachel telling the original ending to the whole audience through her scene with Mr. Schue at “The Quarterback” episode. That was so heartbroken 💔😭
Still heart-broken. I still imagine, what could have been if only Cory was still alive and if only Finn was still in Glee. It would have been so much better. I am never going to get over this heart-break.
Finn and Rachel were the heart of the show. Without Cory, everything changed. Ryan said the final season was supposed to revolve around Finchel getting back together and finally getting married. I’m heart-broken. I wish the tragedy had never happened. I miss Cory :(
glee helped a lot of people, they covered many many problems people have, teen pregnacy, fake pregnacy, gay, lesbians, transexuals, bisexuals, racism, sexism, dislexia, bulimia, loosers, womanizers, poor people, and more
It isn't the ending we imagined either :'(...it was so sad seeing everyone get happy endings like Puck and Quinn but we never got the finchel happy ending we all wanted
After that episode I think the tone of the show changed drastically. You could notice it, they did have cheery numbers after that but they weren't as cheery as early seasons. Cory/Finn was the heart of the show and that heart is what was missing.
NPAMike I can't watch that episode without crying... especially the scene at the end when you find out (SPOILER ALERT) that Will was the one who took Finn's jacket, cuz Will had been the strong one during that episode, he stayed everyone's rock and he didn't show any emotion until he got home alone and just that scene where Emma comes home and finds Will clinging to Finn's jacket and sobbing, that always gets me every time...
Glee aired in 2009 and I still along with their music and still watch glee 24/7. Glee WILL ALWAYS have a special place in my heart it taught me how to be a better person, how to live, how to love, how to respect, but most importantly how to dream, and reach for those dreams. Thank you glee for 9 special years, you will always have a special place in my heart, you gleeks will always be like a 2nd family to me. But most importantly, I want to thank Cory for teaching us how to live our lives to the fullest, and for teaching us that life is short, to be serious. #THANKYOUQUARTERBACK5 #CORYMONTEITH
I stopped watching glee after the Cory Monteith tribute episode of course I go back to the FOX Channel to check how they are the show isn't the same, or just not as good as the first 4 seasons. We miss you Cory!
Nah I don't buy it.. Cory's death didn't help matters (may he rest in peace), but the show was already faltering way before that. RM claims that Finn was the core of the show, but before Cory's death, Finn barely even had a story line of his own in Season 4. Honestly, what did he do? He broke up with Rachel, taught at the Glee club for a bit, had this stupid-ass feud with Schuester, and went to community college for one episode. That's it really. For a character that was said by the writers to be the show's backbone, you'd think they'd've focused more on him after he graduated. Season 4 was really the start of Glee going downhill. I think the main reason why that was was because RM started up with AHS and got bored with Glee, so he stopped putting in the extra effort. I hate that Ryan continues to use Cory's death as a scapegoat for his lack of drive/talent as a writer. It's a piss-poor excuse disguised as a sympathy act. Especially given the recent interview from RM about his relationship with the rest of the cast, it's obvious that he's willing to point the blame on _anyone_ but himself for the show's faltering, even if it is on a dead man. What scum. Thank goodness most of the cast is off now doing amazing things without RIB's help.
I agree with you but I do think that Finn was supposed to have more of a story line in season 4 but couldn't because Cory went to rehab... I'm not sure though, so correct me if I'm wrong.
Golden_Tsubasa That's partially true, yes. But I think Cory went into rehab only a couple months before the end of S4, so his storyline for that season wouldn't have been effected _too_ much by it. Probably only the latter quarter of the season at the most.
Totally agree. Glee started going downhill after the graduation and the split between Ohio and New York. They couldn't let any of the cast go and they didn't give the new cast any good storylines. It was a mess before Cory's death. I was a fan from the first episode and remember it all. The whole thing was sad but typical of Ryan Murphy shows. Watched his stuff before Glee. His shows always seem to take a similar turn.
I honestly loved the show just as much without Cory. I mean obviously it'll NEVER be the same, but I didn't hate the show afterwards and I was really happy about that. I loved how they never stopped mentioning him, because he was amazing, special, and extremely talented. But I still felt like I was watching the same show, as much as it changed.
I wonder why Marley (Melissa Benoist) wasn't in the finale? besides Finn, she was the only member of the New Directions who didn't appear in the finale.
I still can't believe glee's over ! It has been the only thing to keep me said in high school now that it's finished I don't know what to do! Glee will forever be in my heart !💕❤️🙌😥
Rachel and Finns ,arriage wouldn't have lasted a month. They had nothing in common. They had totally different goals AND Finn basically did everything Rachel wanted.Even before Finn died i wanted Rachel to end up with Jesse. They were perfect for each other.
I thought it was due to his tolerance being low after rehab. Many addicts overdose their first time using after being clean. Typically because they use the same amount of drugs they used back when they were getting high.
@@PaulDoe79 no he was clean when he went to his hometown he thought he could handle his regular dose but being clean so long his body couldn't handle it it was a accidental over dose
Good riddance with this damn show. I lost interest after Season 3. The new characters were shitty as hell, and they were ALL boring ripoffs of the originals to me. Then the old characters just came back, and I suddenly found THEM annoying. Season 2 was the best, and Kurt's storyline was my favorite. But Glenn hasn't held my attention since. Im just glad the show is buried now, because it was an unfortunate lost cause years ago.
+Kobe Busia I haven't even watched American Horror Story, but I heard good things about it, so I'm most certainly going to watch it. I'm also totally agreeing about Glee being the worst show he's made. I can't stand it anymore. Every time I see Rachael's annoying ass face on the screen, I flip the channel. Horrible acting, painfully dull stories, and some of them are crappy singers to me. Good Riddance you piece of crap show!!
+Kobe Busia Keep in mind that this is no disrespect to Cory Monteith. God bless his soul. He wasn't even a terrible singer to me, and I admittedly liked his character, and I'm not just saying that to be kind. He really was that good of a person to me.
I feel like Glee really changed a lot after Cory died, it just wasn't the same Glee without him.
+Michaela Lily True
+Michaela Lily It was already changing before that, but Cory's death weighed it even further down
Michaela Lily it was just strange without montieth
Michaela Lily I wish he was still alive ugh
Como. @ darren cris

glee may have gone on longer if finn was still on glee but we will never kow for sure
Glee would have ended with Rachel and Finn getting back together if Cory hadnt of died of an overdose. That is what they had originally planned.
LovelyMNGurl02 so true😥
poor cm
LovelyMNGurl02 I know i'm so sad
I am obsessed with cory, and proud of what he became, despite his problems. Its so tragic how his life ended.
Finn and Rachel were the heart of the show. Without Cory, everything changed. Ryan said the final season was supposed to revolve around Finchel getting back together and finally getting married. I’m heart-broken. I wish the tragedy had never happened. I miss Cory :(

Same here.
if you stopped watching at that episode, how would you know everything adterwards wasnt the same
When cory started singing... I got chills.. Glee was never the same

I wish Cory still alive and to see finally Finchel happy ending and Monchele happy ending too. But somethings happen for a reason.
I stopped watching glee after the Cory Monteith tribute episode of course I go back to the FOX Channel to check how they are the show isn't the same, or just not as good as the first 4 seasons.
We miss you Cory!
why would you stop just because of Cory i mean i miss him alot 2 but they still talk about him
I still can't believe glee ended
Wait did Ryan just say Rachel and Finn where supposed to end up together??
They were :(
Yes he was supposed to be teaching. And she made it big then she comes back and says im.home they get married and live happily ever after.

Alana D Ah, that makes sense.
+Alana D Well they were planning on making him a teacher, and he was supposed to have the love interest that went to Sam, you know, the nurse Penny?
Totally agree. Glee started going downhill after the graduation and the split between Ohio and New York. They couldn't let any of the cast go and they didn't give the new cast any good storylines. I miss him so much. Cory/Finn was one of my favorite characters/male characters in Glee. 💜
Yo Gurl Liza agree. I actually loved expecially seasons 5 and 6
I wonder why Marley (Melissa Benoist) wasn't in the finale? besides Finn, she was the only member of the New Directions who didn't appear in the finale.
PrinceTrexus I think she was probably busy being Supergirl on the CW
Rory and Marley were the only New Directions members that weren't in the finale
I still can't believe glee's over ! It has been the only thing to keep me said in high school now that it's finished I don't know what to do! Glee will forever be in my heart !💕❤️🙌😥
He was glee thts y wen he died they cut the show short
A Glee reunion movie would of been perfect right about now. But to much loss with Naya, Cory & Mark.
this show is timeless. i'd love a reboot with a new cast one day!
Please no. Just wouldn't be the same.
Ryan Murphy should tell people what I thinked of finn and Rachel’s happy ever after if he still alive Rip Cory we miss u

It makes me sad every time Cory sings " It's my life", singing I'm not going to live forever!
When shcuester cried i lost it
Ahloa I’m shanebearddj cool
Rachel and Finns ,arriage wouldn't have lasted a month. They had nothing in common. They had totally different goals AND Finn basically did everything Rachel wanted.Even before Finn died i wanted Rachel to end up with Jesse. They were perfect for each other.
Santana Brittany Quinn Mercedes Sam Blaine are my favorite
What the fans wanted or what Lea wanted? Huh murphy?
The sculpture
When are people going to stop giving Monteith sympathy. People he O.D.ed--and that's the brutal truth. Deal with it.
Kurt Baumann Yes he overdosed, and that’s a horrible thing that he had to deal with and that he suffered with. Why doesn’t he deserve sympathy?
It was a accidental od. He was clean finally but he used the typical amount but it was laced with Fentonal
Ur wrong deal with that his autopsy and Lea said he was Clean before he accidentally od

Glee* not Glenn....
+Joshua Mitchell No worries, we all know what you meant
+Kobe Busia Oh..thank you, Kobe. I had Walking Dead on the brain, and I was pretty pissy for a while.
