      Most definitely. I am not a golfer and I rarely watch golf on TV, but when young Mr. Woods came across my TV screen in his last year as an amateur/last year of college(?), I started to at least check the results and watch highlights. If more eyeballs on TV screens feeds into the "gravity" of which you speak, he indeed seems to add some G forces. 'Always loved one of his first Nike commercials, "I am Tiger Woods". 'Such a fun and impressive commercial. I was never one to put too goofy a recording on my telephone's answering machine, but I was so impressed with that commercial that the opening of my recording was, "I am Tiger Woods, at the the sound tone, please leave ..."

      Learn the history of black golf. We’ve always played golf and we’ve always had our own clubhouses. Middle class black experiences have never been documented by the white media. Later, some blacks were jealous of their middle class peers so again, silence prevailed. However, if you research the history of blacks in golf, you will find us. 😏

He focused a lot on kids and promoted helping them. But his life experiences have brought him full circle. I believe his son will be on the tour and he wants him to play in a group that looks more diverse than the current state. He loves his children and young people in general. Good job Tiger!

    • @twittertwice

      like Serena and Venus Williams, their father was a catalyst for their success in the sport. Tiger Woods father was the same type of catalyst for his success in the sport. I wish people would consider the tiger was the only one out there and a whole white arena and the tall it takes to stay at the top takes a lot of mental and physical stick to attentiveness. So let’s not wish she had done anything earlier. Fathers need to be the focus if they want their children to pursue something and they need a mentor. It didn’t be the person who is at the top of the game is the same today almost as it was before in terms of who participates. It’s great that the colleges have seen to pursue leadership in this area. Tiger is fine. He’s doing what he wants to do and he can do.

      This is the problem with people, particularly Black folks. Michael Jordan still hasn’t shown up in the community. Yeah, do you raise the questions about him that you raise about Tiger Woods. No all you can do is decide whether Michael is the best basketball player to ever play. He’s done nothing in the community. I just saw where he has begun doing so and I think it’s because of Kobe‘s death, I think Kobe taught a lot of athletes that your future isn’t promised and he was already deep into helping people helping young people with sports and in particular basketball. You could always find Kobe at some community basketball court playing against the locals. So I think people got that idea. all of us grow up and grow into adulthood. But you better go on RUclips and find those videos of a a 10 year old 12-year-old Tiger Woods, who had to dress in the parking lot because he was not allowed in the country club dressing rooms to get ready to play. He said Texas and Florida particularly bad and that people looked at him like why is he there? What is he doing there. Michael Jordan didn’t succeed in an whole wide sport, Tiger Woods did. saying that is not to diss all of the great early black golfers who I’m sure found the rejection even more heinous, but also expected it because they were adults when they were playing. Tiger was on TV at four letting people see his beginning skills. His father was in the military, and was a SEAL. THESE SPECIAL FORCES ARE KNOWN TO BE TOUGH AND DEDICATED TO TOUGHNESS. PRETTY SURE TIGER WAS TAUGHT THAT BY HIS FATHER, AND I THINK BECAUSE OF HIS POSITION IN THE FIELD, HE WAS TOTALLY FOCUSED ON STAYING WHERE HE WAS BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE WERE TRYING TO KNOCK HIM OFF, AND NONE OF THEM LOOK LIKE HIM.

Too many people forget the tiger was in an all-white sport. And he was the one keeping the focus on staying at the top, as we saw with these young men out here, trying to get a practice. Golf is not easy. You seen too many fantastic athletes get out there and fail to do the same kind of job and golf as they’ve done football or baseball or at basketball. why are you surprised? I hate little snarky comments like that. Where were you when he was putting on his clothes in the parking lot at a country club at age 12 that did not allow him to go into dressing rooms. By the way what is Michael Jordan doing today? Don’t know why I asked that because I just saw fell off my chair. Just saw him doing some wonderful things at this age. And I believe deep in my heart. The only reason he was pushed to do it was Kobe’s death and what he saw Kobe doing we never see Michael Jordan in the community until now and none of you boys have anything negative to say about Jordan except to discuss whether he was the best ever. So take your surprise and put it away.

    • @TheeTwanSolo
      @TheeTwanSolo 8 месяцев назад +1

      @twittertwice who said anything about Michael Jordan? Everyone knows he's a terrible human. I'm surprised because Tiger wouldn't help his own brother, Kevin, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the same condition that caused other medical complications which ultimately took the life of my mother 3 years ago on April 13th. After THEIR father died, Tiger excommunicated himself from his older half siblings. They only asked for help from him to provide for Kevin medically. They only went public with the situation because he wouldn't return their calls. That's why I'm surprised. Don't come after me about Mr. Woods. Facts are facts. The man got to the top of the golf world & forgot about the ones who were there for him while he was struggling to get to where he was. Hate on me & my comment if you want. I didn't say anything negative about the man that isn't public knowledge. I hope you enjoyed getting on your soapbox to say what you had to say. Now, I've said what I needed to in response to your assumptions. You are now dismissed.

      Blue jacket for life too, and remind me again how many Black people has Michael Jordan been around? I’m just trying to keep up with these mega hero stars to make sure that you’re not holding to a standard that you don’t hold any other black star too. Because we all know Michael Jordan has been missing an action for years now. Yeah I never hear anyone raise the question about how many black folks MJ has been hanging out with. But then again I tend to think blue jacket is a WYTE boy, but that’s just me.

      no, Tiger hasn’t done anything to his face. Black folks and plastic surgery don’t work too well together because black skin does not heal in the same way and it’s very iffy that your surgery with will heal without showing marks. Now I’m sure that is not true of all people, but I doubt this man is doing anything but growing into his old age, as we all do.
