Interesting how nightwing is all "damn, I love this release, it's so cool that they've done this", while some other sneaker youtuber is like "yea, uhh, it's cool that Jordan brand is releasing this but I worry they're flooding the market". Someone's in it for the shoes, someone else is in it for the hype...
The Jordan XI (Concord ['11] and Space Jam ['09]) was the shoe that got me into sneakers so it will always have a soft spot. However I still have my first pair and I can't currently condone buying the new release. The "45" is sick, but I'm good with my 2011 pair haha.
Anderson's steal is always mentioned but the following play MJ had a chance with 6 seconds and the score 91-92 to win but ended up throwing a bad pass to Scottie that went out of bounds. That was only Game 1. After that MJ went on to average 31 a game and that Bulls team could have very well beaten that Magic squad. Fast forward to the next year we all know what happened. Good vid as always and appreciate the insights and history of the shoe.

i still remember i was in Taiwan in 95 when people camped out two three days before the release day in front of the stores and when i saw them on some other kid's foot i was like "i must have those in the future. the 2000's came around and i'm in US, i waited in line for hours and by the time they got to me they were out of my size. luckily the employee at Athlete's Foot back then got on the phone and ordered a pair for me from Eastbay. As much as i want these i don't know if i'll buy'em, i'm more into my other hobby in collecting MCU figures now.

I know the 2011s aren't close to OG but in my opinion, they look better. I think it's the shape. Something is just off with the 2018s, but im still going to cop.
I absolutley had to get these OG Concords. And the 45 makes them more rare and special because it was the number MJ came back with. This is truely the Holy Grail of all Jordan shoes and if you didnt or couldnt get a pair i fwel sorry for you because you will never see these again. I still own my OGs from 1996. Now they've been wore and are a size 10, dont fit me anymore. But they are archived, I'll never get rid of them, keep sake item. They are the Bred colorway. Remember wearing them for my High school graduation. C/O 96' My major problem with retros is they dont fit or are near as comfortable as the original.

Missed out on lost and founds today. So I grabbed a pair of these instead. Took a trip down video review memory lane and ended up here. Great video as always!
Boyz2men had them on at the grammy's and I had to have them. (Finals came in too late for me back then.) I wanted them for Xmas but both of my parents with my step parents were expecting in mid-late November so Xmas that year was going to be tight in perpetuation for my brothers. Luckily my grandparents came through with what I wanted, because I wanted to sacrifice my whole Christmas for the J's. My dad's parents got me the concord, and with my mother's parents got me MK3(which was the only other thing I wanted that year), chrono trigger, and donkey kong country 2!

Very nice. I noticed that my pair from SNKRS has thin padding around the ankle. My win like 82/96 has better padding. Either way i still love them. I’ve been wanting a pair since 2011.
I agree with you, only weirdos talking about collabs being the shoe of the year. For me personally the Concords and the Black Cement 3's are top two releases of the year PERIOD. The Union X Jordans are cool, but the Shadows, Bred Toes, Gold Toes, Court Purple, Pine Green, Blue Moon and Game Royals are all better looking 1's to me, they're just not exclusive and limited like the Unions are that's all. That hypebeast shit.
Midnight navy 11’s dulled this day down to me some. I’ve been wanting these so bad but when the ‘82’s came out last year, they satisfied me. These are way better and original and I bought them but still. They shouldn’t have brought he midnight navy’s out until after the concords.

I am truly torn about getting these. I WANT them but quite honestly that $220 around Christmas time is just ridiculous especially since I've had all except the 2011 version. I STILL hold the 95 up on a high pedestal with the OG XIV as best of the best performers of the first 18 Jordans. I might possibly just wait and get them down the road. Last years PE/Space Jam is still pretty easy to get at close to retail if you're in the right sneaker groups.

I've been saying this for years that the history and obvious color blocking of that shoe is to match the bulls colorway with the Japanese flag. Which is why I call the White and Red 12 the Japan 12. And if we are going by the name on the shoe box it clearly says VARSITY RED NOT CHERRY.
Next year (2025) will be the 11's 30th anniversary. Hopefully, another Concord (especially those!), Bred, or Space Jams for the commemoration as the 11s are my favorite Jordans, and I still need one!

Really...I don't have no problems with the 45 in the back...it looks really great with it. However the 23 it, I love them all. But as the years go by there will be upgrades. I have the 2018 and received the 2016 space jam yesterday so I'm out to get all the OG's soon.

That's the same reaction I got in 95 in Cleveland when I bought them everyone that seen them would say those shoes are shiney.
