Join us aboard our Ranger 2410 Bay boat powered by a Suzuki DF300AP as we venture out offshore 15 miles from Port A jetties.
I took a former coworker with us, Trevor. Haven't seen him in 5+ years. Trevor fought a giant (shark?) for nearly 3 hours on super light tackle and a reel that partially failed midway through. We caught several King and Spanish Mackerels on Waterloo Rods.
    I sight-casted a GIANT Cobia.
    Fishing was FIRE.
Praying still for those impacted by Hurricane Ida.
    Thank you for watching.
Filmed with DJI Osmo Action in 1080p
And a few shots with Kodak Pixpro

Great videos SIR. Thank you for sharing your trips with us. They are good family fun. I get to Fish port A once a year. and always get "fish fever" about 30 days before I leave here. You SIR have given me the fever early this year and I thank you for it. Keep posting, and maybe we will cross paths in November. God bless you and your family!

Thank you kindly for the encouragement and for watching.
I wish you the best in November. That is one of my favorite times to fish Port A.

I caught kingfish when I was your boy's age. He'll never forget it. Good times man!

Indeed…when the offshore bite is on, you can’t leave a rod in the holder or it’ll go in the drink!

I would have jumped in that fight with Trevor!! I really wish I could have been there!! That entire fight was so intense, I can only imagine how y'all felt when when he broke y'all off. That was a monster! I can just imagine Trevor saying "HEP ME, HEP ME"! I bet Trevor's arms were screaming the next day!! Also, Carson is one heck of a fisherman and I love his enthusiasm for the sport! I want to get down there with y'all so bad!! We're going to make it happen!! Top notch production as always!

How far offshore do you have to go to reach the rigs not looking to go to far out

4-5 miles. Many are visible from the jetty/PA beach
