I still want to know who the "hacker" from the Prologue was. He's a clown who got outsmarted, but, he did know what was in the strongbox. If they're not important, they're at the very least important-affiliated AncientBeast65 makes a solid case for it being Bringer!
Not only do I feel Bringer is the Mole but also the Hacker. 1) Bringer brought in heavy armaments to deal with the Red Fang Gang. 2) It's too much of a coincidence that a Hollow Investigation Team is near where the Cunning Hares were. 3) The Hacker praised PubSec for some reason. 4) How did the mercenaries get PubSec outfits? 5) Who gave the bandits information about Zhu Yuan and Qingyi. 6) Khors' voice recording has Bringer's voice.
Thank you for this! I wasn't really feeling the story in the beginning, partially due to the level restrictions that kept halting progress and kinda demotivating me, but once I got to the latter half of chapter 3 and into 1.1's story I became way more invested! So I was definitely in need of a more in-depth refresher of the earlier chapters (I legit forget there was a hacker in the beginning lmao). Keep up the good work!
1. Bringer is not the one Sarah works for otherwise Pearlman would have sold Bringer out the moment he got arrested or at least blackmailed him. 2. There are two people talking Khors. One could be Bringer telling Khors to ignore the Sacrifice. The other is the one revealing the monster's name.
@katarinaluume3473 I recorded a reaction, but I was so entranced I barely said anything, so I didn't upload it 😅 I believe what was going on though, was that Qingyi was imagining different lifetimes she COULD have had of she wasn't stuck being a robot who gets rebooted after each "death". This is showcased by the fact the little Zhu Yuan was fighting behind her in that one scene, which is know is impossible to have actually happened. Plus in the description it mentions her memory is long gone

No the Monster is called Sacrifice and is probably some weird Ether mutant/creation. Yokai is an AI that can corrupt data and stuff and is somewhere in the internet

While I agree that Bringer is most likely the mole, I also feel like it's too obvious. This might be a red herring.
