@LEXSIXSIXSIX there have been many songs that have had the same corus as other songs or the same instrumentals as others, it happens all the time. most of the bands that use the instumentals have to pay to use them as a copy right so if anything WT probibly had to pay Chris Isaak who origianaly wrote wicked game and HIM probibly did the same thing as WT only they did a full cover.
@LEXSIXSIXSIX HIMs Wicked Game is itself a cover song. So if you're trying to suggest that Within Temptation plagiarised a HIM song, then you fail.
Also using the term 'plagiarised' in relation to music is very questionable. How much of a song needs to be the same before it is 'plagiarised'? There's probably hundreds of songs that have the same cord structure as this song. The lyrics definitely aren't the same so no plagiarism there.
Basically your argument is fundamentally flawed.

@Raymondhe437 You got me wrong. This is my fault. I have nothing against the team WT. But tune in this song sounds like this . Especially the chorus. Correct me me if I'm wrong. I loved their music on Mother Earth, The Silent Force, The Heart of Everything albums, but this plagiarism on this single makes me sad.
This song is boring compared to the old sound. No more "gothic symphonic metal" ? Don't tell me another good band will go mainstrain and sold out.

@Philgr: Its not gone. Its just not present on THIS particular track. In fact, a big chunk of this album pretty much has that old sound, but with an 80's twist.
Besides, its the first single! Wtf would you expect?

wtf? this music is way WAY too similar to "Wicked Game", i mean. The harmony is identical, the melodies reek of chris isaaks song and there are guitars here and there almost identical.
