I have dreams like this, where what I'm dreaming simply is what it is until my rational mind tries to describe or explain it and then I realize I don't know what I'm actually looking at. It's always amazed me how my dreams seem so "normal" when I'm dreaming them but when I wake up and try to recall the dream, everything is so disjointed and incongruent, and constantly shifting and changing, that it's just confounding. The dream doesn't know it's a dream.
