Don't flush. Just replace (drain and refill), thats the safest option.
You could update this to a new video and showing how changing automatic transmission fluid is so important ! This video is also important, thanks MotoringTV
What sage advice - follow the manual. Glad there are experts like you helping us, otherwise we would have just added grape juice to the transmission and olive oil to the engine. Thank God someone pointed us in the right direction, by telling us to consult the manual.

There is no thing as a lifetime fluid. All oil breaks down. We have 255,000km on our 2011 Outback. I have refreshed the tranny fluid 3 or 4 times and am convinced that is why I’ve had none of the tranny issues some suby owners have had.

0:59 the problem is, her car can have “life time fluid”…
ProTip: just wait till it starts leaking. Then you just add a quart a month and it's like a continuous flush... always fresh fluid! 😂(don't ask how I learned this)
Never flush an auto transmission fluid.... manual transmission sure.
