i strongly agree with your recommended adjustment to Gatot's ultimate. my take was after he lands his ultimate he gains 1 chance to do enhanced basic attack and its an AOE one, not single target i mean its in order for him to take advantage of his ult that vacuums enemies inside to the center. but i think its a bit too much that it could make him permaban if that buff happens

I'm not surprised that players are starting to use Mage Build for Gatot.
Been using gatot mage build for 5 months now and you can easily kill 2-3 fighters due to the passive of gatot which deal a lot damage when its full

What I hate with the upcoming adjustment is that Concentrated Energy wont work with Gatot passive anymore which is a bummer since Concentrated Energy has a new passive that is similar to War Axe
Same here! That item is is too good for gatot it has hp,life steal and the passive is similar to assasin emblem killing spree as it will give you hp when you kill your enemy the only diffrence is i gives for hp without the added movement speed

As a Gato main I totally understand this guy, in my experience I have tried all these builds, gato as fighter, tank, magic and yes jungler are all good and capable of working, I have many maniacs on gato as a magic . Problem is that people don’t help roam or gato much and only want him as a tank. Gato deserves a new update he’s been long forgotten…
I have always played gatot as an exp laner because I think it's the current strongest version of him but his strength depends on his build, I wouldn't personally recommend going full magical damage on him but as hybrid with mostly resistance as your core items if you want I little more of an explanation of how it work I made a video explaining how it works. And if you want to know my current rank is mythical glory 44 stars and I play solo rank only
Been a gatot user since then.Gatot was flexible either fighter or mage but I suggest and usually use him as a tank because the more damage he receives the greater his damage
As a Gatot user, thanks for helping me improve my Gatot skills, but I usually use Defense Build with one magic item and it works well for me
The last time gatot on meta is when his ult not showing mark when u cast it from bush, just like lolita ult, but developer said its a bug and they fix it.
The problem about gatot is his ult have 2s delay to cast and there's not have any slow effect inside the mark, not like lolita or carmila ult.
Hey Elgin! I would actually change your recommended build quite a bit, replacing Bloodlust Axe with Queen's Wings as he doesn't really benefit from Physical Damage. Queen's Wings also gives him a hefty amount of sustainability with its HP, Damage Reduction, and Spell Vamp.

A simple adjustment for his ult that makes him slightly op is being able to do a flicker trick since it's not too good that it'd replace atlas since if you're too far your teammates aren't able to respond in time it's still the same play style of being a bit late but this time less late since he has the surprise
I think everyone would agree that if they made his ult animation more faster he'll be pick more often

Make a enhanced basic from his ult is reasonable because his ult can areadly deal a ton of damage and the enhanced basic can be as a finisher. The delay is worth it since gatot can use it as a finisher, a objective stealer or a zoning tool as well.
As someone who mains mm and assassins, a good gatot is terrifying and hard to stop.
I honestly think there's a lot of power creep in the game and that damage and mobility need a system-wide revamp. In the current meta gatot doesnt need too much else but if you're suggesting these buffs then you have to nerf his survivability.
I approve 1st and 2nd idea. I think this will make him a good exp aoe setter like arlott,guin and terizla.
I think a "hit and run" gatot with mage build wl work great in the exp lane.
Just focus on damage increase with one or two def items and target the squishies at the back.
after revamp im using gatot as CORE .. he can rotate fast and every clash he can jump to help his teammate and my build was molten essense , consentrated energy , guardian helm , oracle , immortality .. i don't build p.def due to his passive and it really works every match ..
I think Gatot just needs some more minor adjustments to all his skills to make him at least a good pick:
Skill 1 - Maybe add a 0.3 - 0.4s stun the moment enemies get hit, allowing Gatot to chase the enemy more and allowing him to do a bit more counterplay by canceling some skills.
Skill 2 - Instead of canceling the skill and making it go to cooldown once he gets CC'ed during the charge, make it trigger the dash upon getting CC'ed, similar to Leomord's Skill 1. This allows a lot more room for him to counterplay instead of being free food for the enemy team.
Ultimate - Just make the delay 0.2s shorter (i think the delay currently is 1s so make it 0.8s or 0.75s). I tell you, this sounds like a small buff but it will force the enemy to use their blink skills/spells allowing your teammates to engage with less worries. Maybe give him CC Immunity the moment he casts the skill so he can also use this skill as an escape skill.
I don't think these adjustments will make him priority pick in mg or in pro league but it definitely makes the life of Gatot players so much easier and better.

They could do something like Vale he can pick between 2 modes
Attack and Defense mode once chosen you cant switch.
The attack mode lets you get your rage much quicker but you have much less liferegen and you benefit much more from damage items
Then you have defense mode where you get the rage meter very slow but the lifesteal gets much better and the ulti has a much longer stun effect and with his 2nd ability you get a shield
I played gatot jungle once and it was pretty amazing with mage build, bonus if you have Angela on you
novaria is good combo with gatot ...that larger hitbox make enemies easier for gatot to hit either basic attack or ult
Saw a player use it earlier in the update and sheeesh the damage and stun was insane

could you tell me the 3 top magic item for Gatot? i do a slightly different build by building 3 Defense and 3 Magic items. i dont build boots on Gatot mainly because i dont think it serves him any significant purpose

I think one of the best adjustments for gatot is remove the cd of his rage when not in use... This will enable him to enter in the team fight with full rage...
In terms of build, we can also use hybrid item, the tank and mage build which makes him more tanky
I think this will make him quite good. Just like Minotaur with no rage.
But ever since Minos rage didnt decrease, hes already good. What makes him meta tho is his passive that decreases enemy def and increases team def.
Well, I wasn't expecting to see Bloodlust Axe there too
one of the adjustment they can do is remove the animation of charging in his second skill.
other heroes doesnt have this kind of feature and its more of a liability to him since his enemies can see him charging at them.
As Player who plays gatot a lot, i got him to play either Exp or midlane. Since he can early burst enemies and a bit tanky.

I suggest to make his ultimate smaller but reduce casting time and make it longer so hitting will become easier
As Gatotkaca main, I already try this before the emblem revamp, heck, before the Gatot revamp. And it kinda work, but it is fun!🎉
The biggest weakness of Gatot to me is in his ultimate. Not only is it slow, but it's visible immediately. 2 seconds is more than enough for every hero to get away. I get that's it a high risk high reward, but I still think it could be much faster or the mandala appears a little later.

Nothing new to this, except his buffed passive which makes him better at using his enhanced basic attack
Hell baxia is a full tank and he’s recommended in the jungle full time by the game itself, the problem is how you position and adjust to fit the game, cause even a mid layla can dominate agains a luo yi if played well
as a Gatot main i always wish to use him full magic to see big amount of heal and dmg ofc but in this meta he's quite likely counterable and like every fighters even if they use full dmg build, 1 cc and u're dead. I like this buff but i want smtg more to make him possible to use a magic build while being tanky
Impurage is also good emblem for gatot to amplify it's 1st skill poke capability..
I have an idea to make gatot work :
1)Make first skill a little bit wider and damage against minions is increased to 130-150%
2)Gain damage reduction during casting animartion of 2nd skill or gain additional physical and magic defense after 2nd skill connects to non minion.
3)And for his ult enemy that are under his highlited area of impact will be slowed to some degree
i agree with number 3, i feel bad for gatot mains, the ult is just that easy to dodge

I love using Gatot in EXP lane against high-speed attack heroes, especially against a Badang in the ExP lane, Badang just fills up my passive fast enough for me to bonk him over and over again.

I think its kinda better for the red rage bar works like guin. Like it doesn't reduce over time
I would love to see Gatot's 2nd skill to have reduced cool down when he doesn't taunt an enemy rather than when he cancels it, it adds mobility for roamer Gatot and makes Exp less punishing when you whiff
or maybe it should automatically trigger when he gets cc'ed during skill 2 charge, similar to leo's skill 1, so he can still taunt the enemy and provide lots of room for counterplay...

I don't think the faster rage will be a problem I mean look at Guinevere passive, the mechanics somewhat works the same but it's not really considered op although in Gatot case, they might need to adjust the extra damage scaling of it to make it more balanced in terms of damage
I've tried gatot with full mage build but after trying so many times, I prefer 2 magic items and the others are tank items... He can still deal high damage and sustain a lot. I usually use concentrated energy and glowing wand for his magic item. As for the tank items, it depends on the enemy.

That's exactly how I used to built Him, Glowing Wand and Concentrated energy works quite well with his passive damage+heal and 1st Skill DoT damage
Issues for all gatotkaca users is his ultimate is very windup before you cast it in process you will die in process before he leap when he facing assassin hero or marksman hero unless if make him faster like ultimate of phoveus or silvanna it would make him better or revamping him with new looks because his appearance is too old for now since his appearance like 2017 of MLBB models of him needs some changes of his designs like his gauntlets and his armor that would be awesome in future updates if they could.

Gatot EXP is such a beast, people are late on realizing that
I agree with all of the things of the video except 2 things:
- 1st: His damage ALSO comes from the first ability(at least 1vs1), it deals surprising burst damage huh
- 2nd: The build in the video... Yeah, I get he wants insane healing and that basic attack burst, but that's not exactly how this meta works... There is huge amounts of anti-heal in this meta, so using THREE healing items not only is overkill and will get completely nullified(which feels like halving your build entirely) but also wearing bloodlust axe... like, buying an item that only gives 10% CD reduction and 20% vampirism which also will get drastically reduced? Bro, you were practically using a build with 4 items. If we talk SPECIFICALLY about Magic Burst Gatot, Magic burst Gatot is supposed to have just enough healing to have a bit of regen out of combat and mainly survive some extra seconds in combat to be able to burst tankier heroes(or squishy heroes in the middle if you are getting targetted), but in no sense you are trying to get huge amounts of healing because the meta doesn't allow it anymore, that old healing Gatot died months or even years ago, not it is either Tank Gatot(tanking a lot and healing a bit) or Magic Gatot(bursting a lot and healing a bit), so yeah, it is mostly either a full magic dmg build(like a Gusion build but with Concentrated Energy) or a midway dmg build(kinda like some Joy builds where they take between 2 and 4 dmg items and the rest is defense)
Sorry for the long text but when I saw the build my eyes hurt a bit, because, yeah, Magic Gatot works a lot better with the right build... It is still not strong meta-wise, don't get me wrong, but getting the right build allows him to be one of those heroes who is not strong meta-wise but can be very overpowered in the right draft or right situation out of nowhere, it is underrated and even though it has a lot of counters, Magic Gatit does also counter a good amount of meta heroes that are picked often
Well Im always using gatot as mage rather than tank and it's always been effective since then. Gatot mage build was one of the heroes that rise me to Mythic rank at solo

Gatot can definitely do both from a EXP role or even a Roamer. The importance for being an EXP is to gradually visiting other lanes like early phase team-fights, turtle and invades as this will utilized Gatot's passive while waiting for your teammate to re-position or to respo. Proper communication can definitely win matches as Gatot skills are merely not been adjusted or revamped yet.

I used mage gatot from the very moment he got a revamp, it’s really good
The worst thing about Gatot is that Moonton did him dirty without knowing it like Lesley, Alpha revamp or Balmond Ult buff instakill half health heroes, his passive easily countered by Malefic roar. Mage build is a viable option but Moonton just slap Gatot with Concentrated Energy change
In short no one will played him, especially after new season change
With new life steal sistem . Can gatot use has's claw for his passive instead of concentrate energy
try using him as a core with magic item build, its a lot better since you can farm his core items easily speacially in the early game cause thats where Gatot can really dominate the game.
Magic build gatot can definitely destroy the enemy really quickly assuming you didn't got cc-ed after ult since nowadays most heroes have some cc to deny gatot intiation and dealt with him easily since magic gatot does heal more but can be countered with dominiance ice passive that both reduce his regen AND his atk spd which make the enhance basic attack feels slower
I would like to see rework on either his ult or his 2nd skill like his ult make a crater that deal damage or cause slow and make his other skill enhanced inside the crater or just make the 2nd skill a second cast like what martis have so he can still escape when needed
Or just give him cc immunity or damage reduction
I think making some of his skills instant will help him alot.
Adjustment:
Additional Passive:
When attacking enemy heroes with skills they'll be marked for 3 second.
When marked Targets attack Gatot, Rage gains will be doubled.
Buffed Passive:
Single Target damage to area Target damage.
Enemy that got hit by the damage will be slowed by 20% for 1 second.
Revamped Skill 1:
Let out an area Taunt in a radius area and dealing 80 (+80% Total Magic Power) magic damage to nearby targets. 9 second CD on all levels.
Adjusted Skill 2:
Remove Taunt Effect and 50% CDR when skill is cancelled, new ability when charging the Skills Gatot will gain 40% Movement Boost for that duration. 10-7 second CD and CD starts while in charging mode.
Adjusted Ultimate:
New effect, Airborned enemy will be pulled to Gatot.

For me its better to bringback the high difficulty of gatot. Like other tanks with high difficulty. Because of that you can build an hybrid item with damage and tank items. It is balance for gatot like before he receive an revamp. Gatot is balance with stronger damage and tankiness

Make enemies in the inner circle not be knocked up while increasing ult animation

When I am using gatot as roam/fighter I usually get aggressive because of the mage build, or should I say, get aggressive unless needed. I always use this items:
Tough boots or Arcane boots
Calamity Reaper
Genius Wand
Glowing wand
either ice wand / concentrated energy
and Holy Crystal
My suggestion is, his ultimate will he more faint if he use it while in the bush, this will increase its hit rate

Here's my adjustment on Gatot:-
Increase the slow on his 1st skill
Make his 2nd skill charge faster
Increase the speed of his ult and he gains DMG reduction based on enemies hit by his ult(kinda like Lapu)
His passive deals DMG based on his rage and 3.5% of total HP+2.5% of his total physical and magic defence.....his rage goes down much slower plus increase his passive range...and passive applies slow effect of 10%(can't be stacked)
That way he can be a tanky fighter
Last time I saw a Gatot exp, I just last picked Lesley exp to poke and bully him, lol. Have fun with your extra physical defence and damage output from your passive against my true damage and higher range.

Really good adjustment idea, the whole point for his 2nd skill is to taunt enemies to attack him to gain more rage point to be able to trigger his passive more often. Other than that, pls give gatot a faster animation, and like what elgin also said about gaining rage points for every enemy hit in his ult
gatots passive had a faster animation if you build attack speed- tho id never recommend more than feather

Use calamity scythe for gatot, its free 1k true damage,
Heres my tanky build:
-Clock of destiny
-Concentrated energy
-Blood wings
-Calamity scythe
-Holy crystal
-Radiant, Athena, doninance, or Antique
With this build, you can have 9k hp.
I've been using this since his revamp 2k match, this can counter durable heroes like thamuz, alpha, fredrinn, etc. Due to his 1k true damage per basic attack

Dominance ice: you can clearly see the effect of the slow atk debuff when gatot is using his rage atk. I hate when enemy is using this as it takes forever to land my raged attack so sacrifice my durability and go for Feather of heaven to counter the slow atk effect... Using feather of heaven will make you vulnerable to assassins like aamon, saber, or any burst hero like eudora as it replaces your one and only defense item.

Guinevere with radiant armor and necklace of durability, gatot is already doomed when ambushed by guin, guin can spam basic attack to trim gatot hp and can freely use her 3rd skill to turn the table
Hylos, entering the "ring of punishment" is a nightmare for gatot.. it would make gatot take like 5 second to land each raged attack even with feather of heaven, also hylos wins against gatot in 1v1

Tip:after casting Gatot's ult hold his second skill to increase its range
Defense is must for good amount of rage , gatot can already kill mm easily with vengeance, only advantage you got is alot if healing , i have done similar maniac where you did triple kill with tank build , only magic penetration one item
