Think of Focke-Wulf, Heinkel, Junkers, Dornier, Arado, etc. The factories were destroyed during the war and the designers had to find work elsewhere, like Tank, who went to Argentina. I know some of these companies made brief comebacks, but it was not the same, and while the construction of Panzers and U-Boats continues (mainly for the lucrative weapons export business) the construction of airplanes is a Pan-European project that produces ridiculous amounts of 4th generation planes that are simply made to keep these industries going and the trade unions happy.
Great looking plane, and sound. Again some skipping in the video though, like starting at 4:42 minute mark. Maybe some over-active image stabilisation?

The kids giggle and the teacher quickly explains that some of the German planes were built by Focke-Wulf. The old veteran looks at her and says, "Well, this fokker was a Messerschmidt."
I hate Buchóns so much. Not because they look ugly as sin, but because every movie displaying 109s are using them, instead of original ones with DB engines. I was so pissed when I saw Dunkirk and that big fat ugly nose was there...
