You can't really blame Pakistan for hedging their bets in Afghanistan. An actively aggressive India on their Eastern border means they can't afford anything less then friendly relations on their Western border. You can't really blame Pakistan for hedging their bets in Afghanistan. An actively aggressive India on their Eastern border means they can't afford anything less then friendly relations on their Western border. So they are doing what any sane country would do, try to keep good relations with everyone there. That includes the Americans, their puppet Afghan regime and yes the Taliban too.
