I'm liking this "behind the scenes" series
I think it's a bit boring. Like a cheap dark ride filled with defunct rides and things you find at a common Halloween store. I give it a solid C+ overall

That guy is so passionate about his haunted house. Absolutely fantastic to hear all the little details inside such a ride.
You can tell that this guy really has a lot of love for the Haunted Mansion and it makes this tour really enjoyable. :)
I got REALLY excited when I saw this video, and then realized my interests are very specialized. Absolutely loving these dark ride walkthroughs, a severely overlooked artform worthy of appreciation.

Knoebel's is one of the best places to go to in PA

This for me was like a warm hug 🤗. As a kid every (EVERY) Summer was spent at Knoebeles Grove. I've always loved the Haunted Mansion with the exception of that dang horn ( every freaking time lol).

That truck horn and lights can give you a heart attack. I know it scared me watching it.
I'm impressed with how effective that effect was, for being so simple.
I've ridden this I don't know how many times and the horn and headlights still startles me!
I love how in one breath he keeps up the kayfabe of the ride and with the other says things like "Its a tissue paper of lies" and explains the props. Great video! That guy loves his work!

This haunted house bring back so many memories. I live 30 min from Knoebels we go multiple times a year. Wish I would’ve known you were there I would’ve came to get your autograph!
I went to Knoebles for the first time, earlier this month. Because of your endorsement, I rode the Haunted Mansion straight away. It did not disappoint. I found REAL terror on the Twister roller coaster.
I would love to see a behind-the-scenes of The Black Diamond as well, if ever possible!
That was great to see the behind-the-scenes look at these old-time dark rides. Compressed air the Carpetbagger's one weakness.
Cool of Knoebels to hook our boy Carpetbagger up with behind the scenes.. That is a great park. He did a great job of explaining everything in the Haunted House. Another great video .

I love the way the bright lights flashed for just a moment on the animatronics. Actually made it a lot scarier!

Lots of new things since my last visit. I miss the glow in the dark skull room and I wasn’t sure about some of the other changes, but in the dark, everything comes together very nicely. Still the best dark ride out there. Thank you for taking us along for your tour.

Knoebels' is one of my favorite places in the world and I always talk about it when people talk about incredible amusement parks. This is the place of my childhood and I still go well into my adult years. The haunted mansion is the only spooky ride I can do and it's such a treat! Thank you for this incredible behind the scenes look of a treasured favorite!!

Even though I didn't grow up with Dark Rides; They definitely have their charms and I can appreciate the craftsmanship and all the fun that goes into them, I want to ride them now!
You have no idea how excited I was to see the title of this video Knoebels as one of my absolute favorite favorite Amusement parks I’ve been going since 2000 in the haunted mansion is one of my favorite rides

The guide that took you thru the Haunted Mansion was very interesting n drolly humourous commentator!! Very cool to see the behind the scenes workings of the rides!!! Attaboy, Carpetbagger!!!!
The cockroach being experimented on with shock therapy made me lose it XD I love the energy the caretaker has, and I'm glad he takes so much pride and joy in his job!

The tour guide loves his haunted house, and so do we. What a fascinating behind the scenes look at a nostalgic favorite. Thanks for making this video that we can enjoy again and again. Got a great big smile on my face the whole way through. Only 12 when I first rode it, but at 58, I still can't get enough. You can tell how much passion went into this creation.
The dungeon is so detailed, i knew it was one if the more full rooms on the ride but i never realized how much there is in there.

Awesome video Bagger! Knoebels is the best and such Americana. Can’t wait for when you finally are able to ride Flying Turns as it lives up to the hype. In the meantime, enjoy old school rides like the Whipper and the bumper cars
Wonderful video! I grew up in SE PA and absolutely LOVED going to Knoebels every summer. We would camp in their campground, frolic in that glorious pool by day, and hit the amusement park in the evening. And some of the most helpful and friendly staff anywhere; glad to see the tradition is going strong.
i love behind the scenes stuff, very fun. these things take me back an old carnival ride of questionable safety and dubious maintenance and craftsmanship regardless of the ingenuity required to keep it simple, where the dark is not only used for effect, but also to hide how, well, cheap everything really is when the lights are switched on.
this one looks just like a blast with layers of history piled on making it a real rare treasure. it's charming and reminds me of a bygone era. well, at least computers are good for *something*....

grew up going to Knoebels, always preferred it over Disney. The Haunted Mansion at Knobels was always my favorite.
Having worked attractions at Disney, I really enjoyed this. The details are really amazing
I rode the haunted mansion ride once in the late 90s as a kid with my dad i was scared out of my mind. The ONLY 2 things i actually remember seeing are the piano player and Ruth!
They've added A LOT to the ride since then! Some things are updated versions of the original gags and others have completely changed. I like how they keep it fresh.
I'm having my wedding reception there next year!
The haunted ride reminds me of the one in Ed Wood. I love it!

Oh man the truck, always seems like there's more there. The amount of love that goes into this thing, and all the rides at Knoebels, is far beyond any sort of expectations, one of the best places in the world

Thanks for the behind the scene visit to the mansion, Jacob! I used to love that mansion ride when I was young (I remember when it had the corridor of floating skulls with the Halloween music playing). The host did a great job showing all of the cool props.

Fantastic video Jake!! It was very nice of the folks at the park to let us see the 'behind peaks'.
What they also do is a behind the scenes tours for folks when they have an auction, where the highest bidders get a tour of the Haunted Mansion & the money raised goes to a wonderful children's organization to help out children. They've been doing that for years.

So excited to be watching this as someone who lives in NEPA and has been there many times every year. It is really fun during fall also! The prices are amazing, the workers are very pleasant and it is in a beautiful area.

Knoebles is awsome love this ride. love this park. im from shamokin PA which is 10 min away lol.. and it's pronounced e lees burg.... not ellisburg.. elysburg PA... haven't been since 2008... it's changes alot of things in the mansion ...
It was so cool seeing the inside of the Haunted Mansion and the the ride. It must be so much fun putting this together. Too bad about the Roller Coaster it must like riding a bobsleigh Something for you to come back for Jacob and another ride in the Haunted Mansion. Thanks

The Haunted Mansion. I still miss the hanging skull room. It was just a room filled with glowing skulls that moved up and down. It was my favorite part of the ride. A memory from my childhood is before you got on the ride there was a penny stuck in the floor that was a gag. If you tried to pick up the penny you couldn't. The person would laugh at you for trying to pick it up! LOL 😆

Ruth is actually a piece made by Bill Tracy's company which is wild. It was part of one of the rides he designed.

I live near this theme park. It is a classic, old school, retro park with amazing food, no admission fee, really fun rides and just a great time! It’s not huge but it’s sizable. I highly recommend the hand dipped ice cream at The Old Mill, homemade fudge at the Nuthouse and their hand cut French fries. There’s a coal mining museum and a haunted mineshaft ride with it. It’s so; so fun! I have many fond memories from both childhood and adulthood here. I am in my 30’s and I turn into a 12 year old when we walk through the gates. Lol!
I'm going tomorrow with my sister, I can't wait!!!

Still waiting for your Kennywood return! There used to be West View Park amusement park button it was torn down and replaced with a mall! It was a fun park but not as popular as Kennywood!

I went to Knoeble's as a kid in the 80's. The only thing I remember about the trip was the Haunted Mansion. I rode it with my aunt and we loved it! I'm planning to take my kid there this year. I hope Flying Turns is open then. I've want to ride that for a long time.
Oh man I have been there a couple of times, its so good food is nice, rides are great, employees are nice.
Happy to see they repurposed a few old props from the old mill darkride from kennywood. Love old school stuff like that 😎👍
I always admire, that you guys have great idea, quality and really have some taste of detail... beside my country that not really need that things... only quantity and 1 object "making more money" but lack of quality, idea and all those things (even have, but got rejected and better with low quality bot can make money faster)... wish can travel to your country... I can't hold myself but to say.. "YOU GUYS ARE SO AMAZING!"
