- Hey guys! I hope you enjoy this lil video all about how I've planned my revision for this Easter holiday - A level revision! I hope it can help you out in some way or that it motivates you in prep for exam season!!
I personally take Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A level, so my revision will always be more tailored towards these subjects. This video is just a guide to my personal revision and you should plan your time to whatever suits you best! Wishing you lots of luck ;) x

1)Compile a list of everything you want to get done
2)write down every topic in each subject
The pick what you want to achieve for each subject and rank them on urgency
3) make a list of extra stuff you have to do
4) plan out your days
5) count days when you can do revision (don’t count days when you can’t do revision)
6) then workout how many tasks per day you have to do
7)allocate subjects to days
8) productivity is best at the beginning so try to plan things then
9) write a list of what YOU HAVE TO DO
10) allocate periods for recaps on topics you have already done
11) alternate where you revise
12) relax and eat chocolate 🍫
When you have just one month to learn 4 subject you don't have time to do all of this things 😭

I loved this video Jade -- you say that you're not organised but this is such an efficient and productive way of organising your Easter... I might have to use the 'asterisk for urgency' idea myself :)
Also, I've got to admit that I'm not really a fan of electrode chemistry either! x

Honestly!!! I feel like languages and humanities are impossible to plan like this because there are no set "topics" with set content to learn so for them its just a case of covering as much as you physically can and hope it comes up haha!

I'm from Singapore and we say "Prelims" all the time. It's basically a mock exam before any national exam like A levels!
i'm from scotland and we say perlims too.

As an A level student myself, I'd really like it if you could make a video based on your routine before an exam such as any last minute revision or tips and how you relax after an exam I'd love to know :) - also always love how positive and inspirational your videos always are xx

Wow- your planning looks really well-structured! I need to make out a program before I start work on Tuesday for myself, because otherwise I just won't have time. IB International Baccalaureate) remains demanding as always- CAS, EE, and notes to do in economics and history, as well as French revision and grammar work and university things! Go through the specification and make notes on each subjects. Im in year 12 and i wish i did that for my GCSES :p

I found your way of organising your day really interesting and useful! - I love how you have a chart where you grade how well you know something or not to see how much you know, to then having a to do list for every single day to then translate that to do list in a daily timed table... Thank-you! - Personally creating a time TABLE for me really does not work, but to do lists and times does??? Very useful. Will defiantly be using this method for my future exams coming up. Many thanks, Jade. Best planning method (this Easter time round on RUclips) that I have seen so far.

Me too, except I have my A level mocks in a month that determine whether I'm elible for year 2.
Btw, don't sweat, I passed GCSEs easily without revision (don't recommend no revision tho)

This is the most realistic planning ever!!!!! It works perfectly with African schedules. It's not even easter but I am adapting it for my GCE A level study year.. I am not even joking with it! Thanks Jade you are highly loved, you just incriminated me with some planning attitude being a disorganised person. Xo
i love how motivating you are and how organised you are but although i agree that timetabling can help, i also think that to be so structured is very difficult..i tend to just write a to do list, be aware of it, and then do it when i feel like i can cope with it. im doing a levels, to sit my real exams this coming june, but im not particularly revising over easter as easter is very early this year and i feel that i don't want to burn out. im just going to complete my homework and revise things that i feel are particularly urgent, i struggle to 'smash out' revision when its the holidays - my home environment is difficult to work in!
Prelims are mock exams in Scotland that can take place before the Christmas holiday during November/ December time or after during January/February because prelims take place during this time not all the course is covered so the prelim questions are only one 1/2 or 3/4 of the course, however these prelims are taken seriously with examiners in the hall during the prelim , but they are marked by our teachers as apposed to a qualification authority like for our actual exams that take place April/May time

I would love a video comparing school for British and American teenagers. I hear you talking about GCSEs and A stars all the time, and I would love to know more about them! In America, we have AP, dual credit, and honors classes for advanced students.
GCSEs are standard nation-wide tests for EVERY teen (15-16 in May to June) and some re sitters.
A levels (16-18 year olds) is generally 3- 4 subjects at a more advanced level after GCSEs: it's done for 2 years. There are alternative routes like apprenticeships and vocational courses but A levels are chosen generally for getting into university.
A video would probably be much better detailed.
Yeah I got my prelims in December for my nat5 exams in Scotland they really helped me cause I know where my strengths/weaknesses are and I know what I need to do to get better.

hi jade! could you maybe do a video about how you recap things? you mentioned the 10 minute recaps, but i never really know how to actually recap things so it does stick in my long term memory, like i can read over it but that doesn’t work for me it doesnt stick in... love you!!

Prelims are the Scottish word for “mocks” it’s short for preliminary exams. In Scotland we take Nat 4/5’s which are like GCSE’s then highers and then advanced highers.😉😊
Woww i mean my holidays end tomorrow and even though I had planned everything I needed to get done I still have the half of those things to do 😟😓...i have really important exams and so much work that I think I won't be able to finish!! My problem is that I'm sooo slow to learn stuff..Arghhhhhhh
