Walt Disney World Vlog | Day 1 | Magic Kingdom | Tiana's Bayou Adventure & 1900 Park Fare | Sept 24

- In this vlog we head to Magic Kingdom to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for the first time. We also get to enjoy some of our favourite attractions and see the new and improved Country Bear Jamboree show. We have an early dinner at 1900 Park Fare and enjoy meeting some cool characters.

It’s the first day of our trip so it HAS to be a Magic Kingdom day, and we wake up early to secure a virtual queue time to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure for the first time.
Once at the park we grab some Starbucks coffee from Mai Street Bakery and benefit from a breakfast “mystery bag!” that no one had claimed! (Thanks Matt, whoever you are!)
We decide to make our way to Frontierland and ride Haunted Mansion on the way. Once in Frontierland we watch the new Country Bear Jamboree show which is great fun and share a small lunch at Pecos Bills.
Then, it’s time for us to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure - we love the new theme-ing, animations and music!
Next, we ride Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean and make our way to Tomorrowland to ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. On the way, Tracey realises she has lost her Magic Band+ so we look back over the vlog footage and work out that it must have come off whilst we were riding Pirate’s of the Caribbean so we head back to see if it has been handed in. The Disney magic does not disappoint, the Magic band was handed in to a cast member so all is well.
We walk through The Emporium on our way out of the park and hop on the Monorail to The Grand Floridian.
We have a great meal at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian and met some cool characters who have wishes as part of their stories.
Back at the resort the rain sets in for the evening so we decide to have a quiet night hanging out in the room.

We are Keith, Tracey, Luke, and Daisy. We have been going on family vacations to Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida for almost 19 years. We have stayed on International Drive, Universal Resorts, and several Walt Disney World Resorts and became Disney Vacation Club members in 2022. Inspired by seeing other people sharing their adventures on RUclips, we decided to document our experiences too. When not in Florida we run an accommodation business and support Luke’s motor racing adventures in the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship. We have recently started filming on a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and edit using Adobe Premier Pro. Older vlogs were filmed on a Canon G7X Mark II compact camera and edited in i-Movie. Aww lovely video! I had stress when Tracey lost her magic band!! Thank goodness it was handed in! We can’t wait to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It looks amazing. We’ve never done 1900 Park Fare - we are a bit scared of face characters! 😂

It’s almost inevitable that you will lose/misplace something at some point, especially with kids. Have always had great luck getting them back.
Back in 1998, my brother left his jacket in the Muppets show, we filled out a claim and they found it and mailed it back to us with a letter from Mickey 😊😊😊

We have dvc members but we also use davids dvc rentals and they are fab

I was today years old when I realised “Paging Mr Morrow” is a People Mover reference and not that vloggers real name.
Oh gosh, me too lol
And the Tom Morrow mentioned on the people mover, is in reference to a character from flight to the moon, which was an old tomorrowland attraction.

I'm really looking forward to this vlog series and I cant wait for the cruise videos. I do miss Luke and Daisy. Have you considered adding a video call cameo with one or both of them on each video? That would be fun.
We sailed on the Fantasy to the Eastern Caribbean and loved it. Definitely get a Palo's dinner reservation. The meal was absolutely worth the price and many people don't realize that you can order ala carte instead of doing the $50 pre fix menu. The ala carte menu items are about 1/2 of what one would pay in a nice restaurant. Oh, and don't forget to order coffee, fruit bowls, etc to your room each morning by room service. It's the perfect way to start your day. Enjoy.
