The first bunch of ads have been recorded in the ATV region from the pre-Christmas period of 1981.
Mid-way through, there's adverts, and part of an ITN bulletin with John Suchet, from the autumn of 1980.
Breaks from Christmastime 1984 also feature towards the end.

I was just going to say that the last 13/14 minutes of this video are ads from Christmas 1984! Cos I remember that was when my family first had a video recorder! I was 8 at the time and remember that Barclay’s super savers club advert being on the ads for Star Wars, which we taped!!!!
