It's a nonfiction book of true accounts of about 55 miracles God did in my life--involving different aspects of my life. It would truly be a page-turner, and a possible Best Seller. I literally believe people would not be able to pit it down. I want no money or recognition, just to make known and exalt God and Christ Jesus for the amazing love and miracles on my behalf. PS: I am writing a Christian contemporary romance about MMC who loves God so much that he is willing to let go of the woman he loves just to please God because she isn't saved. But later on, we see her (the FMC) get saved, not on the MMC account, but because she encountered Jesus and they have a second chance at love and live HEA.

Writing is a calling... I was almost killed by witchcraft from my teen age to university level...ever since God saved me every inspiration from God is how to defeat demons cheaply each time they trespass.... I'm writing the book already... thanks alot

Yes I think i have heard some authors talk about writing using the Garamond font which most people don't like and they said it helped them write faster. I might have tried this font years ago but it didnt do much for me so I just use the classic Callibri size 12 on Google docs and that works for me :)
Oh wow! I have one of your books 📚. I used to write on wattpad and fan fiction when I was younger however it was not glorifying the Lord. Now here I am as an adult trying to start back. I have been having such a hard time though.

I've always loved writing since a little kid. I've written many stories (that I've never finished) and now I actually want to write a book and maybe even publish it, I'm not sure yet. I don't know if it's what God wants me to do, but I'm going to take a leap of faith and hope and pray that he meets me in the middle

June 2024- Please say a prayer for my mom’s 86 year old cousin, Christian author, Julie Walters of South Bend, Indiana. She’s not doing too well. She’s had falls and we ask for God to have mercy and guide her gently to His home. Her brother, Scott Hopper is fighting a battle with cancer so, he needs prayer, too. Julie’s husband, Clem is still living and is her rock and could always use our prayers, too! Thank you, God Bless! 😇

It’s helpful to put a reference in the copyrights page with the Bible translation you are quoting the scriptures from, the year that translation was published etc. Many authors quote scriptures without any problems and I have scriptures in all my books too. How do you know if God wants you to write, and if this is just me or is it Him? Like i want to write about friendships and different people's charactersistics and how God helps them.
An idea is from God when it is all about glorifying Him. The message and theme will be in line with His word, and it will bring glory to Himself and not man. An idea is from God if points to the light of Christ, God's love and His goodness. If you're not sure if it is from Him then go to Him for guidance. The amazing thing about our God is that He speaks to us in different ways. And you will know how He speaks to you, through His word, through others around us, through songs, through the tugging at our heart strings and through the still small voice. Ask Him and He'll provide clarity. I hope that helps
I had the same question, based on the answer it seems it's not from God. I want to write poetry. But it doesn't necessarily glorify God. It's just about feelings and such. I don't think it'll do anything to bring ppl to God. But I wonder if I shouldn't do it just because of that. I've been praying But I'm not sure :(
@@jl8805 Hello. I think a lot of Christian writers can relate to your dilemma. Not every writer who is a Christian writes books that explicitly mention God, Jesus and the Bible. You could be very knowledgeable about a particular area or subject (for example programming or marketing) and write a non-fiction book to teach others about that area which may not mention God but doesn't mean it is wrong. There are also fiction writers who are Christians who don't necessarily write Christian fiction. These writers have been able to weave in the foundational values of the Christian faith indirectly into their work without explicitly mentioning Him. So the important question to you is, what is your motivation for writing this? What are the overall themes addressed? Are you writing a book of poetry to push on a particular message and if so what is it? Are the words driven by Christian values and convictions? These are all questions that can only be answered by you, so if you're still not sure, keep asking God, keep praying for clarity and don't stop until you gain this clarity. God never leads you wrong.
