I just discovered this game a few days ago and rhat one letter from the child's grandparents made me realize that this game was taking place in my country, Norway and I just discovered a piece of history that I never learned about in school. I'm kind of in shock. Anyways, great gameplay. Really both touches and breaks my heart. I love the little voices you do for her.
I know, I was totally shocked by this game. We never covered any of this in school in my country either and I really think it should be taught. We hardly covered anything about the affected countries after WWII. It was way more tragic than our history books would have us believe. 😔

I remember being bored with history because I remembered we always talked about the same things over and over. We never covered any of the other victims that weren't Jewish. I wish I knew this sooner. I would've totally created a presentation about it! I just bought the game and I've been playing for about an hour. It's so bittersweet.

This game actually broke my heart and soul when I first watched Michaela Laws play it. It made me want to bawl my eyes out mainly bc I knew what was happening to her T H E second she reacted badly to being pat on the head or being touched at all. I felt so bad, and honestly replaying this and watching others replay it made me physically want to vomit. Like, I physically had to sit in the bathroom for fifteen minutes because I felt that ill. That fact that this may have and probably did happen to actual lebensborn children is disgusting. :(
I feel like this game is good for parents - (even though im sure this game is about after ww2) because parents can learn about children difficulties, because a lot of children still get treated badly, especially for race. This game helps show that kids needs a lot of attention, because if parents don’t realize at the start, something’s wrong with there kid. It could be too late. A lot of kids kms because of bullying or even being rped, a lot of parents don’t end up realizing there behavior of ‘not eating’ or even avoiding social contact, hugs or any touch.
This game shatters my heart and enrages me at the same time. No one ever deserves to go through this, especially an innocent child like her. It's even more heart breaking to know this happens in real life. We really need to do something about this, we really do. This game actually donates the money you pay to play it to child victims which is really heart warming!

The game teaches us many things we should be aware of and should be a basic knowledge that everyone knows about.
