I just wanted to say that I have a newfound respect and appreciation for Bailey after watching a few other true crime YTers recently. I live in Kansas City, and my dad actually worked with Bob Berdella at the fancy country club you mentioned. They were both chefs there. Dad gave him rides to or from work sometimes. Dad said the entire time he worked with Bob, he never came across as a "bad" guy. He did say he was kind of quiet and a little... "odd," although he never has specified what he thought was odd about him. Just quiet and a little weird.
he had a point when he said that it was easier for the media to understand that it was satanism vs. just your average neighbor doing terrible things. most times it is just the "normal" guy you don't expect.
Im from KC too. My mom's aunt and uncle were friends with Bob. They brought her to his shop when she was a young teen (Bob's Bizzare Bazaar) and she said she was really weirded out by him. And that there were shrunken heads and other weird "decor"...I've always wondered if the shrunken heads were from his victims.

Bailey, in that time period in the catholic church it was very common for the priest to encourage widows and widowers to remarry for the sake of any children they have. My grandmother passed away when she was 45, and my grandfather remarried a widow within six months. The teenage kids hated this, but the younger ones felt a little more open to this change. Both my father and mother spoke of how this happened, in many catholic communities.
Not a Catholic thing, it was a common practice for women to remarry as soon as possible regardless of child status or their religion. And of course, men were the bread winners... Remarrying quickly would have been the done thing at that time with children involved. By the 60's women's lib was a thing, but their life style sounded like the classic conservative all American picket fence 2.5 children thing.

Can you cover Arial Castro!?! he abducted a bunch of women here in Ohio, and held them captive in his home for years. One of them escaped and got the police to come to the house. This story just reminds me of that one. I do know that one of the surviving victims has cents going on and come gotten a college degree and stuff. I’ve heard the story 1 million times but you always do it so much better. 🙏
The side part makes you look so much younger, girl, you already look young! You're making us (that are the same age) look old lol 🤣 love this look, and what a crazy story. So many unanswered questions. Those poor boys. 😢

Grew up in the area and met the creepy f@cker at his store. I was like 11 and went with my older sister and her friends. Both she and I got a bad vibe and left. Our friends made fun of us. You should research the unsolved case of Leah Hickman's death. It happened in Huntington, WV in 2007. Leah was from my hometown Pt. Pleasant, WV (yes, Mothman's small town). This case made national headlines, Nancy Grace even had Leah's parents on her show. @@annemariemyburgh7252 okay😭
Is it just me or did the side part turn her into a whole new person? Lol. Never seen her do one before. Love it!
She said a few years back that she used to do side parts and I'd been waiting all this time for her to do it! She absolutely slayed this look and the hair!! ❤
Is it just me or am I sick of most comments about hair and makeup and not about the actual case. This is why I and a lot of others are tuning out of talented story tellers like Bailey, because the inane comments of HAIR PARTING..🙄
Reminds me of an early season (S2 E5) of “Bobs Burgers” when Tina switched her barrette from one side…..
to the the other *gasp*😮
This was the “new Tina” who was now “Dina”.
I've been watching all your MM Mondays from the start, nearly caught up. It's so sweet seeing it develop. From your intro, to the development of your theme song and your subscribers explode and you starting Dark History. So much growth and well told terrible stories.
Sometimes it doesn't get better, we adapt and overcome. I love you for being real Bailey.
Please do an episode on Israel Keyes!!! He has flown under the radar in the true crime scene for the most part, but as a more recent sk, his story haunts me to this day
The ladies from the Morbid podcast have 2 or 3 episodes covering Israel Keyes. (Episode 62 and 63 and there may be another after those)
I vote to have “Don’t worry, it’s gonna get better…allegedly. IDK 🤷🏻♀️” as new merch!
Let’s face it it’s only Bailey that makes Mondays bearable ❤
I was so stoked to see a new upload !!
This look, especially with the side part, is giving Priscilla Presley😍 love it!
Born and raised in Kansas City. I remember when this news broke. There is so much more that you didn't cover (for obvious reasons). Anyone interested in doing a deeper dive into ol' Bob Berdella read the book Rites of Burial by the detectives that investigated this case.
I’m IMPRESSED you pronounced cuyahoga falls right! Even people from Ohio get it wrong 😂
Well to be fair, it’s Cawga Falls 😂. But she did say it properly to those that come from elsewhere.
@@jossykerflossy915Bailey has the adorable ability to wreck all pronunciations of names and I love her for it!😊❤
That part 😂😂😂
@@jossykerflossy915 the indigenous pronunciation is cuy-a-hoag-a (according to someone from the mohawk tribe, part of the iroqois). i've lived in cleveland my whole life and i've never heard anyone say cawga
Also very surprised she nailed it on the first try! 😂 So many people get it wrong!
I miss you doing every Monday. I love dark history, but this is what got me addicted
I know me too!! I hope this never goes away. I remember watching her first Makeup Monday video like five or six years ago and I fell in love!! I think Ive watched every episode so I’m exited every time she posts 😹😹
Why did I almost cry at the heartfelt opening message 😭 I may not know you personally Bailey but you still feel like a close personal friend. I think I might need more friends...😂😭😂😭
FIRST OF ALL! I LOVE the side part. Secondly, I think my dogs would consider only a collar on as "fully clothed". 😂 And lastly, you pronounced Cuyahoga correctly! I'm so proud of you! 😘🖤
I knew the second I saw the title it knew it was about Bob Berdella! My dad told stories about going into his shop in the flea market back in the day, this dude has been the boogeyman of my childhood stories!
Yes! This one, please!!
One of his victims wrote a book too.
These videos never fail to make a dark stormy evening in the UK waayyyy better! Thank you Bailey 🫶🫶
The side part makes you look so much younger, girl, you already look young! You're making us (that are the same age) look old lol 🤣 love this look, and what a crazy story. So many unanswered questions. Those poor boys. 😢
Bailey makes Mondays better 🥰🫶🏻 appreciate all that you do, girl!
She makes the story’s so much more interesting than the other true crime stories ❤❤
He stayed around the corner from my kids dad....growing up...they always said he was super friendly and always spoke. The house has since been torn down.
I mean, story aside, I must say you look ABSOLUTELY STUNNING with your hair parted sideways 👌🏻✨ I hope we get to see that look more often! 🖤
Right! Love the side
Right
It’s kills me when people think their opinions are relevant about your life or your look . Boo do you . I will always think your gorgie and will never complain about you not posting every week. You got a life and your content is always worth the wait❤ can’t imagine how annoying it is to read comment like “ I don’t like your part” or “ you need to post every Monday”🙄
Y’all sit down , shut up, and be grateful plz 💅
✅
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
👏👏👏👏❤
Some people forget it's a real person with a life outside of the videos. Anyone demanding more videos from any creator needs to be told to sit down and shut up.
Bailey....you seriously nailed that, "Quack-quack!". 🦆😂
Bailey you should do a MMM on Robert Durst. It’s a crazy story and the dude is hella weird. There was so many twists and turns that my jaw DROPPED when I finished watching the documents about him.
Love your videos!
I thought she had? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else...
Bailey is the only creator of TC that can make us laugh and its OK!
Grew up in the area and met the creepy f@cker at his store. I was like 11 and went with my older sister and her friends. Both she and I got a bad vibe and left. Our friends made fun of us. It was only a few months later that he was arrested. I knew then that I would 100% always trust my instincts and first impressions of people.
It’s 4AM and my third time trying to watch this , Bailey’s voice is so soothing 😂😂😊
The struggle is real!
Bailey should do some ASMR
4:43 am here and I’m on my third video 😅❤
She’s my bedtime lullaby- love these videos
Seeing Bailey post makes me feel like life isn't that bad😊
Hey Bailey! You should look into the McCarthy Massacre in Alaska. Wild story- worth a deep dive!
Hey Booo!!! Look at all the 7 million Subs! So proud of you, Bailey! I started following when you were around 100k! Happy for you, pumpkin!
Danielle Kristy did this a couple months ago. I would love a combined video with you two!!!
I love both ladies but personally feel Danielle had more details and presented this information better than Baily. I felt this episode was lacking the usual gusto, detail, and attention, especially when comparing it to Danielle's video, but even just compared to Bailys usual videos.
I thought I’d heard this story before!
@@meowmachine9147this was a fine video, but definitely felt more like a surface-level explanation of Bob Berdella. He was absolutely nuts.
I thought she did too I love both.
@@meowmachine9147 I also agree Danielle did a much better job over all explaining the story :) usually I love Bailey's videos but having watched Danielle's first this time I didn't feel as satisfied with the video I guess.
Laughing because I'm definitely that "weird person" in my community 😂 I adore you Bailey!
Most of my community is the weird person. Sadly not in the funny way but more in the League of Gentlemen way.
BAILEY since the first time I've seen your MMM video many years ago I've discovered I love true crime stories. Recently I came across one I REALLY think is perfect for you!! PLEASE do the 'Danny' Rolling case the one who inspired the movie Scream 🙏 I love you giirrlllll
Bailey I can’t believe how much you’ve grown on social media and as an individual I’ve been watching you since way back then 🥲 just super proud of you!!! I love when you post on Monday’s!!! Was reading through all the comments and I love how everyone just has the nicest things to say about you! We love youuuuuu queen of the dark!!!🖤
My mom passed away at 39 of a heart attack as well. It’s scary to think so young and I’m now 37 😮.
I am so sorry.
My husband had a widowmaker heart attack at 38.
it’s happening younger and youner-look into it.
It's being diagnosed through autopsy more and more. I don't know that it's happening more and more.
But that's just from a nurse/child of a pathologists' point of view.
@@theConquerersMama 🙏🏾
Hopefully you do regular bloodwork and stay healthy. My sister had one at age 40. Passed away due to a car crash but I often wonder if it was her heart. My condition is less severe and benign but try to keep doing lab work every year. Sorry for your loss.
I live in KC & have driven by the house he used to live in, I’ve been wanting you to cover this one for so long!
Love the side part! Its saying 00's grunge. Love it!
Our "strange" neighbor walks his cat on a leash in a brown tweed suit. No matter the weather....100 degree day or 38 and pouring rain. Sorry, just had to share.
Is the neighbor wearing the tweed suit or is the cat wearing the suit?
@@Niklarus2010this made me chuckle
@@Niklarus2010asking the IMPORTANT questions 😂

Had a friend who told me his neighbor used to take his wheelbarrow for a walk each morning.......hmmmm
Bailey I’m loving the eyebrows,it was totally worth the pain.
The side part is working for you being a different person today.
You are doing a great job. Love you to bits..
Thank you for making me laugh and feel empathy al at the same time.
Me: *saves video, screen shots makeup look for future holiday looks, finds lipstick online*
Bailey: I'm not sure how I feel about today's look. I think I tried too hard.
Me: 😐
Girl you know her look always slays! It will look amazing! Be excited 😃
I'm a man btw
You should research the unsolved case of Leah Hickman's death. It happened in Huntington, WV in 2007. Leah was from my hometown Pt. Pleasant, WV (yes, Mothman's small town). This case made national headlines, Nancy Grace even had Leah's parents on her show. To this day, Leah's dad still makes a trip to Huntington on her death-iversary to speak with the chief of police about any updates and to try and keep the case going. There's numerous theories and speculation; I think you'd enjoy researching it Bailey.
I grew up in Kansas City and my father had a booth in the same flea market as Bob (Robert but was known as Bob) my father actually knew him
knowing one of the victims’ dad also had a booth next to Bob makes this comment even scarier.
WELP. READ THE DESCRIPTION, FRIENDS 😷😷😷 very happy to see u bailey!!! i'm gonna have to wait a couple days for this one because this one sounds actually nauseating! see ya soon mama!!
Thank you very much for posting this comment. It was the deciding factor on whether I would listen to this now or wait a little bit.
Same!
he did way worse than even whats in her description. haven’t watched the video yet, so not sure if she mentions it in the video but there’s even polaroids out there of his victims mid torture. the victim who lasted the longest died of blood loss after he stuck his ENTIRE ARM you know where. i was surprised to even see this in my sub box bc dude is the worst of the worst.
At 30 min in I had to stop watching. And ive watched/read horrific stuff. This just got to me too much🤢🤢🤢
I’m so proud of you for saying Cuyahoga falls correctly Bailey! Also he was only 15 minutes from where Jeffery dahmer grew up and their cases are very similar. I should know, I’m also a local to that area 😅
Bailey - *laughs*
Also Bailey - “I’m not laughing yk” *sighs*
Hey friend!😊 Have you ever considered doing a follow up episode on some of your old cases that have since progressed? I think that’d be really interesting to watch! Always love your videos, thank you! 🙌🏼❤️🇦🇺
0:06 ALLEGEDLY 💀
Your hair is giving me a 40's vibe. You're awesome Bailey! Thanks for another great story! 💜
I live in KC and am so glad you covered this! ❤️❤️❤️
I thought you were shocked KC had an art institute not that he was into art at first and laughed out loud. 🤣 before I moved here I genuinely thought it was like a farming town. It’s actually a major city with the largest metro 🤣💀
Bailey's makeup looks so so pretty in this video😭
RIP to all the victims. I hope the survivor is okay and are healing❤
After a couple rough days, Bailey swoops in to save this Monday!😊
18:04 their like “ stop ducking around “ 😂😂😂😂😂
I just died at this comment😂
I loved that you covered this one. Can you do one about Fred and Rosemary West?
Yes she should definitely do this as I'm from uk
I’ve been requesting this for years! I don’t think she will though, she’s mentioned she doesn’t like to do cases that involve a lot of child abuse
