As WEVE said, drummers in k-bands usually don't sing, as it is very difficult to do so because of their body movements. Moreover, in bands the musicians are not always singers, either because they don't have as much vocal skills or because they're not interested in singing and prefer to focus on their instruments - which is totally fine and allows them to become especially skilled in their own fields. With that being said, there are some examples of drummers who know how to sing / progressively learned to (like LUCY's Gwangil, CNEMA's Seulong or DAY6's Dowoon), and it's only Xdinary Heroes' 1st single so who knows... maybe Gunil will sing in the upcoming albums if he wants to ! :) Either way, he did a wonderful job on the drums so i'm looking forward to hearing more of his performance, with vocals or not !

Instruments in themselves are super important to make the songs as great as they are, and Gunil fulfills a key-role as a drummer (ex : keeping the steady rhythm of sound throughout the song which is very important, or contributing to the song's energetic feel through more powerful and high-speed playing parts). The song definitely wouldn't be as great if he wasn't there to play the drums or only did the singing rather than focusing on his drums...
