I personally chose the ending to use the machine to find the truth, and honestly I was hoping the ending to use that cut scene you get after finding all the stars and maybe have like a cool, mindblowing answer like inception but with universes or something like that. But well, still pretty amazing to imagine how life to New Jerusalem and humanity would turn out. Hope they make Talos Principle 3.
They will. If you get all the stars there's a sneak peek. It's probably gonna involve solving puzzles in different planets and solving who's the entity that existed before the beginning of the universe, god's philosophy or smth like that
@@pedroj5249 could also be a teaser to a DLC not nessesary a next game, but i will be exited for both. There were many logs of this lithanthir fella who had no plot relevance what so ever, so i also think that we will find his deciples and him eventually.
I imagined the truth ending as looking through the universe, finding a favoured planet for myself and living there in solitude, lounging like in the vision while talking to myself.
According to the writers, TTP's story is designed as a trilogy and they'd love to make a third game. Might take another 8 years, but the desire is there. 😅
I think an important scene to add to this is the one when you collect all the stars and put it into the temple. Its qutie fascinating. But then again maybe we should reserve that to people who went through the effort of collecting them. Also like others have said you can have different mayors...even horrible hermanubis!

"All" endings isn't really correct. You can choose to save Miranda or not, You can choose between truth, shut down and destruction, You can choose the mayor (Hermanubis, Byron and Rand (maybe even more idk)). So there are (probably) 18 endings? Idk probably every scene just repeats, but with an other voice saying something. @@wormi27z the vote will happen while you're passed out, but you can influence its outcome by participating in online forum conversations and talking to people around the city. Yup. Such an amazing choice by the devs. Great things are built on the shoulder of giants, not on the shoulder of one giant. But history often tends to remember the one who spearheaded the project. Thankfully in recent times we sttarted tracking more of the people in Trevor's role.
Using Machine is clearly best ending. No idea why all others exist. Game is very vague in all useless theories and does not explain what machine does and why you shouldn't use it but technological progress is clearly good next step. I am also unsure why both using machine and disabling it gives same effect which is disappearance of riddle world.
"I don't know why you shouldn't use it" knowing how humans used the power of modern physics to create nuclear bombs and kill each other, would you have given them this knowledge if it was up to you? That was what Athena was conflicted about. What will the people do given such immense power, will they lose themselves in shortsighted goals? This is why the last stage in the pyramid is split between Utopia and Dystopia. The riddle world was created by Athena's mind while she was sleeping, basically she was dreaming it all into the real world. Once she woke up and disconnected from the machine, the dream ended and her creations disappeared.
@@AriaHarmonyWell people dropped 2 bombs and stopped doing it. Now they use it only for nuclear energy which is "good". So I think using machine is still best ending. What is the worst thing that can happen? Destroying meaningless planet full of robots? :D
Z tego co się dowiedziałem, scenka po napisach, z zakończenia z zniszczeniem piramidy nazywa się ,,merzenia byrona" i przedstawia byrona, który wyciąga rękę w stronę kosmosu.
@@smort123 Yes, you need to solve all the golden puzzles, join Cornelius at the golden gates at the main base, accept to help him and then find Miranda in a mine-littered dark place.
Yes all endings are the same except Athena is the one narrating everything instead of Cornelius if Miranda is not saved. And Athena walks out of the machine alone. Plus in the disable the machine ending 1k visits her as she looks over an old city while alone.

Incredibly game. Such an underdog.
The leap of faith ending really hits different with the music turned down. Definitely more trippy with Prometheus Spark bopping away with it.
That's true. I had the music lower to boost dialogue audio in general.
that song really annoyed the absolute hell out of me on the ending, since I hated getting that star the most
