I think this is what happens when you just release honest music without thinking too much about things. It’s a beautiful thing to hear.

Where was this video taken? My brother says he may know him he lives up towards Bremerton Washington. I was curious if that was the Seattle to Bremerton ferry in the video. The words at the end of the song are some deep and true words of wisdom! Amazing job you 3!

I’m convinced Zach doesn’t write songs, he writes poetry and then adds 4 chords and a kick drum, but maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be

That's how Cohen, Townes, Blaze, and a lot of other Greats did it. Not sure about Prine...I think that dude just woke up with readymade songs in his head that he just cranked out.

Hummed it walking on my way to the hotel I was staying at; drunk and alone.
I had just lost a good friend of mine to PTSD.
With poems and songs getting thrown around in my head, I was feeling like no one on the planet supported me or understood the dreams I had, and even though I had plenty of people telling me the music was great, I was missing the people I’d lost along the way; including myself.
If you are reading this, know that you are heard and cared about and one day you’ll be surrounded by people who understand you. Can you imagine how much good music we have? Zach is so young so we have at least 30 or 40 or more years of this. It’s kinda nice to know that. He’s the next Johnny Cash.
He is basically my age, plus a few years. :) Man, we can have 30+ years of this man. He takes country back to the roots, while being unique. Can't say the same praise for Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line or Jon Pardi.

Zach is the *ONLY* artist I've heard that never releases a bad song, to a point where I cannot pick a favorite song of his. His lyrics are always raw and powerful, and I think it's phenomenal how he paints pictures with everything he puts out. His voice and instrumentals only elevate all he does!

Glad to see this before it blows up again, also what Zach wrote at the end is true. Anyone that’s ever experienced PTSD or any loneliness or depression, just know we got each other’s backs and if you need to express yourself we’re always right here. This is why we’re in this community.
