If you are generally the kind of player who shoots first and asks questions later, I highly encourage you to try being friendly at least once a day. You will be amazed how much fun you will have goofing around, forming an alliance, etc. Sure, they may shoot first, and then you just battle, but the number of times we have ended up forming a 4-crew alliance, along tons of gold, having a blast, saying 3 ships around and taking on world events, those are some of my best memories of the game. I won’t remember the single ships I’ve sank or the ones that sunk me. Who cares? 🤷🏻♂️
