The title took me out😭😭😭 but damn I felt so bad for Alucard this ep and honestly this whole season. He fr is trying not to be who his father was and trying to see the good in people like how his Mother did but it’s been lonely for him and hard🥺
Well we know for sure that Alucard have superhuman hearing, remember that he knew what Trevor and Saifa talked at the Belmot mansion, and we know that the "twins"are stupid => most likely the tears he shed was not tears of joi but he was sad that he knew about their plan.
I like how the Magician is essentially a rhetorical tool showing Isaac what he would become if he enacted Dracula's plan to kill everyone. A crusty and dusty freak who doesn't build anything, doesn't contribute to the world; just uses his hordes of slaves to fulfill his own base desires. Isaac even kills the magician by stabbing him in the side, not through the heart. My interpretation of that is that they're trying to imply the Magician has no heart, no soul, and has become nothing but an animal, a slave to its lesser instincts.
Not to be that guy (but being that guy): "there's no prize to perfection, only an end to pursuit". Isaac believed the world would be better without humans, but the Wizard was basically him seeing what Alucard said in his speech "the world will still be here" about Dracula's genocide. The world would still be there, but there would be no laughter, no joy, no sadness, no fear, no courage, no art, no music, no beauty, only Dracula, vampires, his endless hordes of night creatures, and darkness.
Lowkey when you think about I think Alucard was a virgin before this scene, which makes it even crazier. A double-up for your first time and they also try to kill you!! now thats crazy
@@MeeshDeeReacts "fun" fact, the landscapes of Hell you saw are heavily inspired by the descriptions, but watered down, founds in the "Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri… Like we saw the Styx, and also the forest made of trees that are souls of those whom "unsubscribed from the census by themselves" (to avoid using a word starting by s). Not only this anime can deliver calm exposition, moments of loneliness, but also scenes of pure chaos and this while adding a heavily cultural background and some philosophical questions in the mix, and remember this is "only" an anime adaptation of a video-game series ! In my humble opinion, that's a masterpiece, and the studio behind it is heavily underrated. Look up Warren Ellis, the creator of this "TV series", that's some heavy hitter.
The ball of people is one of the most famous Castlevania bosses, Legion. Also known as Granfalloon in the English version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night--which I believe was its first official appearance. Something I never thought about until now, but the giant night creature may be a reference to Galamoth. He is basically the optional superboss of Symphony, he looks kind of like a giant minotaur, and he has electricity powers... oh and you fight him in the same room as Legion/Granfalloon. :D
Granfaloon is such a great name too. It’s a term that means a group of people who have a shared identity but their association is meaningless, or who think they are linked together by a shared destiny but their association together and that “destiny” are false.
0:23 The show: "Ask and ye shall receive." XD This episode was wild. The juxtaposition of the gruesome violence action sequences and all the getting groove on scenes. Was crazy. Also, an Easter Egg for those of us familiar with the games. That giant ball of bodies was a boss called Legion. First appeared in Symphony of the Night and has become a recurring fight in the franchise games.
There's a boss fight in Castlevania Symphony of the Night where Alucard fights a giant ball of corpses. Also, given the life he led, it could be that this is Alucard's first time.
I told y’all that this episode would be wild! LMAO! I was cackling through this reaction. I remember me and my bestie watching this one like 😱 Lenore still on my hate list for doing this to Hector. And poor Alucard, just lonely and minding his business.
I think that the story of the two Asians is that after years of suffering under a tyrant, they decided to become tyrants themselves. They rationalized by saying that they were protecting themselves, but they were after power. Lenor can definitely gaslight people with the best of them. I believe that Issac's battle with the magician marks a turning point in his story because he got to be the hero, and he found that he enjoyed it. Notice the smile as the ones he freed began to fall. The question I have regarding Dracula and Lissa is do they really want to be pulled out of hell, especially that way.
Trivia: the large winged creatures that Sypha/Trevor are fighting bear some resemblance to the biblical descriptions of Seraphs (not religious myself, I just have a brain full of useless info). The Wikipedia “seraph” article has more info, if you’re interested in that sort of thing.
No wonder it doesn't explode when the Morningstar hits it like vampires and demons do; it's basically an angel, so the weapon being consecrated doesn't make a difference
@@najhoantand it would be right up Isaac’s alley to not only have a contingency plan like the portal demon, but have it be able to bring in demons who would be less affected by weapons that would theoretically be strong against Dracula.
The whole context of the sex in this episode pretty much sums up the entire season which is "The bigger the build up, the bigger the climax". And this episode and the next is just a fraction of the entire climax that is season 4.
This climactic episode was basically the director goin " oh... you hungry? Given everything that happens in this episode, I'm probably being a nerd stereotype by saying this, but my favourite part is Isaac's battle with the Magician. It was two villains seeing who could throw the most evil magic at the other.

It's implied that Lisa went to Heaven due to the rays of light behind her. I believe Lisa is in Hell now as a visitor because Heaven for her is with her husband

I'm not sure vampires in general can be good. They're undead, so they lack the humanity that allows us to have a conscience or empathy, especially for humans. They probably start out as almost mindless monsters, then regain intelligence and control over time, but they're still cold, both physically and emotionally. Only the oldest and most powerful vampires start to regain some of the traits they might have had when they were human, but like Dracula said, he was "more than just some common vampire." Also, some like Carmilla seem like they were awful people who became even worse, while Lenore's size probably meant she was always manipulative. Or, as Dee said, "the p***y be too good." Oh, "Tepes" just means "the Impaler" in Romanian. It was a nickname, not his family name. He was just Vlad the 3rd when he was alive. The real one, I mean. "Dracula" meant "son of the Dragon" because his father was a member of a short-lived group of Christian leaders called "the Order of the Dragon" who joined together to fight the Ottoman Sultan.
