I believe that since she has not had the chance to experience life the same way as people without a diagnosis, it has set her social skills back a lot. She seems sassy, bright and witty. I'm sure if she had had a more normal, adult life outside the house, she would have become a lot more mature. Also, she has been taken care of, babied, treated as a fragile thing all her life... That has to have had a deep effect on her social development. I obviously (and sadly) don't know her but I'm sure she'd be able to learn how to be an adult very quickly if she were given the chance. Going to school, getting a job, things a normal teen and young adult do will make you mature quickly.
