This takes me back to the comment you raised about PCBs being filled with silicone. I think it would be great if they filled the stoves PCBs with the same thing. These boards are sensitive to foreign objects. Your channel is informative. Thanks again.

Hi again, my regulator switch is working vice-versa, my no.1 is hot and number no.6 is low,but the wires are plug in as it should be, (phase=supply voltage),(load=+ from burner),(N=N from burner ),& p=pilot light...🤔
For a 6pin you need a hob that take four wires like a solid plate. Since these one take only neutral and live only, the regulator is the one to go for.

Did you try to swap live and neutral on the hob?

Is it possible that you can connect a 6 pin selector switch to the ceramic stove type plates or can you only use the regulator type switches
