Minshew didn’t have a great preseason, but the one good thing he showed was that he could take a hit like a champ. He had to do that a few times today.
Kid has guts. When he completed those passes on the last drive on a bad knee after that hit woulda knocked 99% of QBs out, was so gutsy. Dude is the new franchise QB and his legendary status is quickly growing out of control

The defense let Flacco down on numerous occasions in Baltimore too. Don't let their reputation fool you. As a Raven fan, I watched every game Flacco played and I can tell you there has been way too many times when he was clutch in the 4th quarter, but the defense couldn't get it done.

Everything besides the Titans game worked in the Jags favor for the AFC South this week. Easy Colts loss next week against the Chiefs, Easy Titans loss next week against the Bills and it’s gonna be close with Falcons at Texans. Both penalties were not deserved.

In consecutive weeks the officials take the game from Denver on the same type of call, roughing the qb, and the qb was being tackled. In this game the qb completed the "desperation pass", yet still was being tackled at that moment and the officials threw the roughing penalty.
It was a high-low hit. A guy had Minshew by the legs while Miller hit him up top. They usually call it a high-low hit but they didn't mention that part.

The rush defense is poor for my Broncos. Today was reminiscent of Corey Dillon and the 278 yards for Cincinnati, all those years ago. I saw lots of missed tackles as well. The wins will be hard to come by this year, but that's evident. I will always be a Broncos fan. They've been my team since 1987.

If a qb drops the ball and picks it up, does he become a runner, and lose the protection that would merit a roughing the passer?
Question 2: if the qb is still holding the ball when he gets the initial hit from the defense, can they consider that roughing the passer?
Question 3: as i was reading up on this rule, it seemed as though a fumble is deemed a dead ball within the 2minute warning.
I think denver has had some critical ref calls for roughing the passer lately. Any opinions?
