My top 2 favorite players in this game, are SuperShadow0 & PhoenixThaBoss. I am Phoenix's local and he's super helpful for the community and always provides support. I am a pretty low level player, sitting around 2100--2200, and his advise is slowly improving my game.
I so agree Zyonik!! Halloween is personally MY FAVORITE meta besides Master perhaps. I do not agree with your take on Guzzlords magnificent shiny though! What I like most about this meta is the simplicity compared to GL and that has a lot of dragons for 1500 cp cup
i know what you mean about not knowing newer gens, i only really know up to 6 maybe 7 either by playing pokemon flora sky, which is a custom pokemon gba game i played on my phone and it was amazing, also by pokemon go and alpha saphire. Also might try this team to get past 2100s
Love watching the cup, but don't have the mons to be very good in it. Been playing the Ultra League with a Roserade lead with fire weather ball. Catches the grass/bug/steel users off guard.
people overpraise lots of shinies just because they're shinies, bust ghost or ghost like shinies turning white are a solid concept now the hype about most pink shinies.... i pass

@zyonik there was a special research day for all of the ultra beasts. A couple of them were available under 1500 cp in that event :)

I caught Guzzlord that day and it was over 1500. I don't think there was a special event for it. Only special events for Regirock and Regice

for guzzlord, there was this ultra beast raid day when you can catch a guzzlord below 1500 from research
I do have s guzzlord under 1500 from a timed research, but I was probably only level 38-39 at that time a year ago.

Fun fact, guzzlord can fully farm down a greninja and load up on 90 energy. It wins the 0-2 shield scenario this way

Shadow fury cutter, aerial ace, teail blaze scyther has been surprising good
I'm using Golbat, Toxapex, and Rune and having great success right around the 2500 mark.
