    Washington and Michigan were in the NC game. Empirical evidence is indicating that NIL is a two-edged sword. It brings a set of pathologies that can hinder a program as much as it brings benefit.

      Probably because half the team didn’t leave. Caleb Downs went to OSU and Isaiah Bond went to Texas. Other than players going to the NFL that’s it. Still got pretty much all of Sabans recruits while the man who just replaced him was in the national title game year 2 with a dumpster fire 4-8 Washington. And is also currently pulling in his own recruits leading the SEC and 2nd in the country who will probably finish top 3 because the boosters and alumni will fork out the NIL money needed to keep bringing in top talent to remain elite because anything less is and always has been unacceptable since the conception of the program in 1892. If I had my guess that’s probably how Alabama is on this list

      NIL can obtain bad asses and steal them from other schools. Georgia won 2 since NIL. For Michigan to win another they have to hope for another pandemic, so they have 5 or 6 years to "develop"

    The more money gets "sloshed around" the worse CFB will become. Less parity and the same old winners will start dwindling away the viewers and fans. If those 4 of those schools (not Oregon since they haven't won anything yet), continue to win every year, it is over. Michigan winning was a great "refresh" from the same old stank teams......but even they won it 20 years-ish ago. We need a K-state, Indiana, or even like a NC State, or teams like that to either win once in a while.

    • @paulshears5202
      @paulshears5202 Месяц назад

      Maybe the alumni of these other schools that are now making a lot of money via a degree or the NFL should come together and fork out the money to get talent like these schools. That’s all it takes really now any school can become one of the elites as long as they have a decent coach and the alum and boosters pull together

      Those Michigan cheaters have won one National Championship since 1997, and that one, last year, is questionable! They have cheated for the last three years, and Michigan has shown that they are not consistent contenders every year, like Ohio State is! Ohio State is loaded, Michigan has a lost a lot of talent from last year! Michigan can’t recruit like Ohio State, and if not for the cheating they would have lost, at least, 2 of the last three years to Ohio State! 🌰🏈
