Not hardly. Apple fans can be pretty stupid people, but at least the products they mindlessly adore are of considerable quality. Well...sometimes, at least.
This is still a good phone. Let's be honest: Ordinary users' phones will never be treated as brutal as the samples shown on this video. And no, I don't have Nexus 6P.
i saw this video before buying mine and i was completely happy with it until a little drop of water dropped on it.... the phone itself is a great performer and will serve you daily very well. no one goes around actively bending and trying to break their phones. but really disappointed that one drop of water from the tap from washing my hands broke the whole phone.....
Jerry has gotten so much nicer on tests! He doesn’t test the 8 or 9 picks in general, the burn test he now usually tries to stop as soon as the pixels change. Bend, well, there’s no changing bend.
Why so many dislikes?? Ha! I love the nexus 6p, but this video proves that its build quality sucks! edit: yes, the phone is made of premium materials, what I meant was that its not as solid as I thought
Nexus fanboys are like those fucking intense vegans dude, all those that preach their religion where ever they can. Also like OP3 fanboys, Nissan GTR fanboys, German crossfiters, feminazis etc...
@@jakebwhite9 no, it's just legitimately bad compared to basically any other phone. $100 prepaid phones from Alcatel and Kyocera have better durability.
Lol i didnt know nexus fanboys are more aggressive then iphone fanboys, why you really cared so much about the bend test, most of you will use case anyway
lol, quite amount of offended Nexus owners..come on guys, these tests doesnt take anything from your phones other then showing what you should be carefull about putting pressure on it.. the Nexus6p is a topnudge phone hands down, just dont put pressure on it by sitting on it, or likewise..(that an huge plus' that such info gets displayed so people will take precautions)
I see how much resistance you had to face when you started your channel. I have been following your channel since a long time and i am glad you do these tests.
Scratched it DEEP. You torched it then bent it and it broke where the heat weakened the glass. Great. I'm glad to know that if I am attacked with a flamethrower by a werewolf with extra sharp claws, while looking at my phone, that I shouldn't attempt to bend it afterward.
Well, I've had mine for a month and so far so good. Basically I learned from this, don't bend your really thin aluminum phone. I don't keep mine in my pants pocket, so no biggie for me.
+Insane CoolAid He will be more dishonest that this guy, he and other popular tech reviewers will do anything and look for anything that is flawed in a phone even if it's very small (like the iPhone 6s "shipgate") so they can get the money.
+Sheila Broflovski Chipgate is a very small thing, which reviewers are making it seem big for money. The TSMC has only 2% better battery life and the Samsung is "faster" but less than 10 in geek bench so the difference is impossible to notice.
***** Then you clearly are a foolish consumer, what if i give you 1/2 kilos of meat instead while everyone else gets a 1 kilo of meat for the same price?
agreed. I'm upset with mine though, I dropped it from a small height and now I notice the top edge of the screen is slightly brighter. it's not the backlight poking out, because it's not white. weird stuff.
I am a huge fan of Android and the 6p is probably my favourite phone of 2015. I can't believe the amount of hate this guy was receiving on this video. He even made another unedited video where he bends it again and people still say it's fake. Unbelievable. Now I have owned the 6p for about a year now and I haven't had any issues so far. As long as you don't put too much pressure under where the volume buttons are, you should be fine.
I am canceling my 6P pre-order mostly because of the awful ifixit score (2/10), and Huawei having non-existent support which means good luck trying to arrange an official battery/screen replacement once out of warranty. That said, the flame comparison to the GS6 was somewhat unfair. The panel here is identical to the Note5 which is same-gen as the GS6, ditto with the Gorilla Glass 4. The reason the 6P screen burned is that the flame was held in the same position for 6-7 seconds whereas in the GS6 video it was moved around and never in one spot for more than 2 seconds continuously. Also cracking the screen before the bend test will obviously make it bend more easily. Not that the GS6 wouldn't be tougher if both were intact before bending, but it's worth mentioning.
My contribution: I sat on it last week, while getting in the car. It bent in a curve shape, at about 15° angle between edges, which let me underline: it's a fantastically sharp angle, I was looking at it and seeing *new phone* in my eyes. I unbent it with my hands, I was surprised by 2 things: Yes, a child and it's baby hamster could bend this phone, it's very malleable, but it did not crack or snap int he process. It bent in a slightly S shape, so I had to re-bend it and adjust accordingly. 2 diagonal corners were unaligned, so I had to twist it a bit, too. Now I just got a replacement aluminium cover, because, as Zack said, the paint scratched a lot, just by having some dust and tiny sand in the protective rubber case, which is unavoidable in time. My 3rd surprise it would be that after all this, the phone works flawless. As honourable mentions, I left it on the dashboard, in the sun, numerous times, I had it in the pocked while in the rain, to find out my pocket had water in it, and lastly, I dropped it like 50 times since I got it, because I'm careless. Bottom line, I am happily replacing it's back cover because this phone has passed the test of time and torture and I would love to continue to use it. I do play the latest games on it, it works brilliant with google maps and every app I throw at it, no crashes, restarts or anything, and I do have the latest beta android. For me, personally, it's money well spent. But I was aware of this video from the get-go, so I knew what I was buying. Thanks, Zack!
I had my Nexus 6p for over three years. I'm still using it right now. I have dropped it multiple times, without a screensaver. It doesn't even have a scratch or a dent in it anywhere. This phone held up beautifully.
Taskin Forkan No it doesn't, the frame inside the phone (not the body) provides strengh. I don't know what kind of aluminium you're talking about, its not made of the same aluminium as a coke can, its way stronger. You saying glass provides it is like saying the cheese holds the pizza together.
Can't even lie this video is VERY accurate and nowhere near fake. Now I do agree he usually stops at a level 7 pick but here he went to 9 which caused the screen to crack after touching it. Besides that though the Nexus 6p is very poorly built and vulnerable to damage. I'm not the best when it comes to taking care of a cell phone but my Nexus 6p has been through the same stress if not less than previous phones I've owned and it's reacted way worse. If I drop it even with the case on the casing of the phone literally will almost separate to where I have to squeeze it for it to snap back into place and the volume/power button to press again. Speaking of those buttons off top they're very mushy and can get jammed down into the phone sometimes and when it happens to the power button the phone starts acting weird sometimes shutting down on it's own or just not letting me press it. It usually just unjams on its own so when it happens I wait a bit. I can see the casing near these buttons raising also. There's a little lump looking like it's bent which is odd. With that being said I'm hoping with the Pixel phones being a higher price and with a much better company ( HTC over Huawei all day ) the Pixel won't suffer the same poor build quality the Nexus does.
***** All these names Apple fanboys come up with for Android fans is not ofensive at all. The term iSheep is enough to get Apple fanboys to break their monitor
Tenza Emtade That's because Android fans know their phones better than anyone else and they have no reason to listen to the out of touch iSheep. Meanwhile the iSheep know deep down inside that that is exactly what they are.
+Mr. Mxyzptlk iSheeps don't even know what their phone is made of or what internals does it have! They're like "Hey it just works!" Lmao! These iSheeps I tell ya!
C'mon you can be better than this, android don't suck as a platform, is the lack of optimizations of the OEMS and I'm some devices cheap hardware that causes not perfect performance. Sometime ago I did a test of my Galaxy S5 running a INSANELY fast custom ROM, and my friends phones which were a galaxy s6, iPhone 6 and 5s, and my (2 year old I believe) hardware was toe to toe with iPhone 6 and galaxy s6 launching apps and camera. ROM BTW is EXODUS last nightly.
It's hilarious reading all these android fanboys excuses. The dude made a 2nd video to prove you all wrong. I bought the 6p and my camera glass cracked within a month.
something is wired every official nexus 6P has a nexus logo and a printed huawei on the back but it's missing on this device which mean it may be a pre release model
+Kyle Silliman It's not that lightly printed that its almost invisible. All the 6ps I have seen have way more brighter and visible logos than this one.
I don't understand why people don't want to accept it? This guy did the exact same tests in many other phones and the nexus failed miserably. I don't think this guy had any good reason to make just aa fake video only for the nexus.
There is no name ..or they were intelligent enough to watch the other 20 independent tests on RUclips that all had the exact opposite result (one even put 100 pounds on the screen, no bending)
Dex4Sure Trust me Chinese are smart that's why they prefer Japan cars because of legendary quality. Germans are good.. at visiting mechanics. Also with phones most Chinese prefer Apple iphone because big brand name. Especially luxury goods chinese like big brand names. But I see you are not Chinese, so I don't expect you understand
Dex4Sure I can tell you are black because you are stupid. and trying to divide me from my race. Let me tell you this it's only Apple having some little problems with Chinese goverment but not the people. Chinese especially middle class are rich now and they prefer iPhones..everywhere I see it's all I phone. If you carry a cheap Oneplus phone in a nice town, they will laugh you out the door.
I feel so bad for you Zack, you having to deal with all this hate just because so many people couldn't take the fact that the durability in this phone is awful.
Damnn, I really wanted the 6p from first glance, but my phone was still functioning so I waited till now to realize how fragile this phone is. I guess Ill have to pass on this now...
Daniel Lin I would recommend getting this phone don't judge by 1 vid I'm using the Nexus 6p now and i have been using it for about 2 months now and it still works perfectly and has never been damaged just get a case and you would be fine and it's not like I have been keeping it in a room and not using it I got into a few fights with it in my pocket and it still works and is in one peice
Daniel yeah I agree with the other poster. I've had my 6p for about 10 months and have only light wear and tear. the tests in this video are kind of silly and don't represent normal use of the phone. slap a light case and buy a 7 dollar tempered glass shield and your phone is super durable. I;ve dropped mine a few times and still like new.
No they aren't actually silly tbh... I understand you care much for your phone but my case is different... I play football and do exercises while with my phone... I recently had Samsung S7 and it was pretty good but then I changed to nexus 6p as my friend suggested and the screen broke(cracks) in just mere 2 week (I don't use cases as they really make phone look uglier)... Talking about you saying all the test are in silly makes me sick dude. These tests are done to show that how durable the phone is. If I had seen this video earlier I would never have brought this phone because I know how much work I do with my phone... As he says, there are safety rating on cars that doesn't mean one would deliberately crash them... Same thing can happen with phone.
Addy Y Ok, I get that you are playing sports and stuff, but seriously, are you playing FOOTBALL with your phone on you? Come on man, are you saying that you should be able to take a direct hit from a person while playing football, while you are carrying your 500-900 dollar device? That seems totally unreasonable. Also, I have to object to you saying that a case makes it look ugly. I have a slim case, and a tempered glass cover and the phone still looks like a nexus 6p. again, if i am playing FOOTBALL with my super expensive phone, I probably want to put a bigger case on it.
Would love to see a Nexus 5X bend test and durability test. Really do like how you do a scratch test in a more controlled manner using an increasingly harder material.
Fascinating, definitely shows how long your phone will last if you take care of it. Currently using my 6p from high school because my pixel 4a got water damage. Only issue it has is battery life, which one would expect from a 6 year old phone that was used a LOT for 4.5 years
It's crazy how much your videos have changed. You now don't go to an 8/9 for scratch test, because it will cause the issue you had with this phone breaking. Also, the "scratching" on the back panel isn't actually the phone scratching, which you are much more knowledgeable now.
I can see fanboy keyboard warriors are raging over this. To them: you bought* a piece of shit, get over it. *Still many months left to pay off the arm and a leg price†. †overpice.
oh no my phone doesn't withstand a fucking scratch, being set in fire, and deliberately bent. if anyone actually took this test into consideration when buying a phone I'd be surprised
My Brand new nexus 6p fell out of my pocket onto my carpet from about 1 and a half feet up. Long story short, i now have 2 large cracks in my nexus 6p.
Hey thanks for this video, i wish that i would have watched this video before i purchased this phone. I had it in my back pocket and sat down, stood up to see a bent nexus :(. Keep up the good work, these videos are very helpful and i am now a subscriber so i dont make the same mistake again!
Damn... my apologies to you Jerryrig. I commented on this video two years ago and completely trashed you. Today I have been subscribed for over a year and a half and love all your comment. I was a dumbass two years ago (nearly 3) Thank you for not blocking me for my idiotic comments lol 😂 love your stuff man! 👍
mykaiping First of, drop the insults and your terrible attitude; they aren't required. Secondly, you don't get my point; the are cheaper phones which are far more durable and resistant. An expensive phone like this one should be far more durable/resistant to bending and scratches. I don't see why anyone would not agree to what I've just said.
I'm about to upgrade my launch Nexus 6p and I've been watching your channel. I'm really looking forward to having so many upgrade options. Looking forward to the Galaxy note 9 tests and tear down videos.
I remember seeing this back then. Wow. 7 years. I was so angry because I had the phone. That being said, it served me well without any issue. I still have it burried somewhere and I think it works lol. Anyway you have made a long way since this video.
isnt this pre release hardware? this isn't a very good video. show the system settings and model numbers etc. not a die hard fan though. you said camera hump is scratch resistant , bro its made out of the same glass as the front ? -.- plus do some research on aeronautical grade aluminum. lol
if you are familiar with the properties of glass you will understand how the glass on the camera covers a smaller surface area making it harder to scratch and break. however you could do so with a thin pointy compass it is not likely to happen using keys.
+Lukeiss Dunne You said smaller area effects scratch resistance. Here is a quote from your post: "you will understand how the glass on the camera covers a smaller surface area making it harder to scratch and break" It doesn't make it harder to scratch and break. It just makes it harder to break.
+Christopher Cox take a key. the glass on a camera protector is a 1×1 circumstance. if you have a coins or keys that are higher than that and therefore cannot fit in the hole then that makes it very very difficult if not impossible to scratch.
Wow he was talking a lot slower back in the day , it made me uncomfortable 😂

He's also not as animated, he's speaking in a lower tone.
He also scratches slowly
oh my god yea

Scratching the 8 and 9 is probably what made the screen crack when he touched it. That's probably doesn't do the 8 and 9 now unless he has to.

It doesn't "suck".
Nexus fanboys are like those fucking intense vegans dude, all those that preach their religion where ever they can. Also like OP3 fanboys, Nissan GTR fanboys, German crossfiters, feminazis etc...
+Frankie Oh Holy Shit I am happy I have an s7 edge
JuanoStudio Games You`re fine bro.
TodayIsDead youre right, i was just surprised how easily the phone bent
while I don't hate the phone itself it is pretty disappointing in durability
No this video makes it look bad
Loaded Monarch Nexus Fanboy
@@jakebwhite9 no, it's just legitimately bad compared to basically any other phone. $100 prepaid phones from Alcatel and Kyocera have better durability.
I owned this phone and loved it, but it was in the least bit durable..my power button wouldn't work from the frame bending
The Nexus 6P’s biggest problem still is bootlooping.
looks like there are over 10k jarjar fans...
Yup
Hey it's the first foldable phone, maximum fold one time
2 years later : Galaxy Z Flip
Maximum fold : 300000 times
H4rder No, the Mate X (also from Huawei)
Did anyone notice that at 3:11 Jar Jar was licking the white spot?
Sorry, 3:14

Lol i didnt know nexus fanboys are more aggressive then iphone fanboys, why you really cared so much about the bend test, most of you will use case anyway
+ivan f Windows XP
+James Carson Please don't disrespect a legendary wallpaper.
ArdaBlock No, I have XP on a desktop which i used daily until the monitor broke haha
James Carson ArdaBlock lol i always use xp wallpaper from xp, vista, 7, and 8.1 (right now) idk why but i just love it
ivan f i tried keeping 2000 but i never got any sound
lol, quite amount of offended Nexus owners..come on guys, these tests doesnt take anything from your phones other then showing what you should be carefull about putting pressure on it.. the Nexus6p is a topnudge phone hands down, just dont put pressure on it by sitting on it, or likewise..(that an huge plus' that such info gets displayed so people will take precautions)
+Greg Scavezze He repeated the bend test with a completely new nexus 6p. Same results.
Well, I've had mine for a month and so far so good. Basically I learned from this, don't bend your really thin aluminum phone. I don't keep mine in my pants pocket, so no biggie for me.
+Sean Kim u clearly didn't watch the ending when u still see the white mark from the bend test as he shows youbthe bent phone
***** I did not, atm I cant watch the video. But what does this mean? The white mark I mean.
+Greg Scavezze the point is , other flagships can withstand that?
I'll wait for Unbox therapy to do his stress test~ lol
+Insane CoolAid He will be more dishonest that this guy, he and other popular tech reviewers will do anything and look for anything that is flawed in a phone even if it's very small (like the iPhone 6s "shipgate") so they can get the money.
***** prove it.
+Youssef Amoun FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
While it is disappointing how badly this phone performs in the durability department, still a nice phone software wise.
True.
agreed. I'm upset with mine though, I dropped it from a small height and now I notice the top edge of the screen is slightly brighter. it's not the backlight poking out, because it's not white. weird stuff.
+Nigel that sucks! kind of interesting though. If only it made the whole screen brighter, haha!
even materials wise it's fine. I never apply any of jerries tests in real life and in everyday use the phone is like any other.
got this in a recommendation. always cool to see older videos, really shows the growth and evolution a channel goes through over time
I am a huge fan of Android and the 6p is probably my favourite phone of 2015.
Just go for the note 5
+Harshith Hv want vanilla Android :/
I can wait another year.
+squishylime Regarding the bending - only the glass was scratched. The aluminium bent easily.
+squishylime vanilla? Lol
+squishylime no need to cancel....my 6P is built way better than this one here...
Who's here after the p40 video
I love this new foldable phone. It's revolutionary.
yeah about that...
So many fanboys offended really by just showing how this phone is weak and it won't get to them that this phone has a shit durability.
Taskin Forkan Last time I check glass isn't the thing that gives a phone its structural integrity.
If you did your research, you'll know that video is fake so.....yeah be quiet
john doe
This was a pre-release model. The final product can withstand up to 90 pounds of force before it bends. Check max lee's video
+Taskin Forkan Other phones are tested the same, but even iPhone 6 holds better.
1 min ago to 5 years ago... The introduction to Mohs Picks xD. Got here from the P40 Pro video.
"The camera lens is relatively scratch resistant... yey"
3:15 I like how Jar Jar’s Tongue is aligned with the burned mark on the Nexus
Who's here after the p40 video?
wow, you really pissed off the lagrdroid fans Xp
***** All these names Apple fanboys come up with for Android fans is not ofensive at all. The term iSheep is enough to get Apple fanboys to break their monitor
Tenza Emtade
That's because Android fans know their phones better than anyone else and they have no reason to listen to the out of touch iSheep.
+Brickcellent exactly lagdroid doesn't work, that's why you shouldn't buy it :p
It's hilarious reading all these android fanboys excuses. The dude made a 2nd video to prove you all wrong. I bought the 6p and my camera glass cracked within a month.
Jakob Bell lol. He even made another video opening a brand new package and doing the same thing. Keep kidding yourself bro.
something is wired every official nexus 6P has a nexus logo and a printed huawei on the back
but it's missing on this device which mean it may be a pre release model
I'll wait for another videos
+Yousef Saber It's right there........ look @0:12 and @3:09
+Kyle Silliman you are right I can now see the nexus logo but there is no huawei printed on the back
+Yousef Saber i.imgur.com/BtPLiwY.png
+Kyle Silliman It's not that lightly printed that its almost invisible. All the 6ps I have seen have way more brighter and visible logos than this one.
The 6p was clearly just the misunderstood first generation folding smartphone
I don't understand why people don't want to accept it? This guy did the exact same tests in many other phones and the nexus failed miserably. I don't think this guy had any good reason to make just aa fake video only for the nexus.
The nexus fans must've been hawaweii (sorry for misplelling) as well.
Lol here after watching MKBHDs google phone line video and reading Jerryrigeverythings comment
Same 😂
"Well maybe the phone won't suck in every other category"
Snaps like a chocolate
hi yuri pfp
Damn... the quality of your videos has improved so much over 3 years!
10k people can't take the truth...
There is no name ..or they were intelligent enough to watch the other 20 independent tests on RUclips that all had the exact opposite result (one even put 100 pounds on the screen, no bending)
Jon Sands uh. Before fangirling over it... Watch the 2nd part of this video. He gave us the reason for why it happend
@@fohdeesha7 years later and ur comment still one of the dumbest here ngl
HTC is making the next Nexus phone. Taiwan quality is back.

Japan lover ;)
Dex4Sure
I prefer Japanese quality thanks. Most Chinese drive Toyota and Mazda because they know quality.
Dex4Sure
Trust me Chinese are smart that's why they prefer Japan cars because of legendary quality. Germans are good.. at visiting mechanics. Also with phones most Chinese prefer Apple iphone because big brand name. Especially luxury goods chinese like big brand names. But I see you are not Chinese, so I don't expect you understand
Dex4Sure
I can tell you are black because you are stupid. and trying to divide me from my race. Let me tell you this it's only Apple having some little problems with Chinese goverment but not the people.
Chinese especially middle class are rich now and they prefer iPhones..everywhere I see it's all I phone. If you carry a cheap Oneplus phone in a nice town, they will laugh you out the door.
*****
Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit
Huawei basically scammed Google by making this thing out of 70% air 50% glass and metal lmao.
thats because no one purposely obliterates their phone.
I feel so bad for you Zack, you having to deal with all this hate just because so many people couldn't take the fact that the durability in this phone is awful.
Scratches at lvl 6 with deeper groves at lvl 7 ....oh it’s an old video
Damnn, I really wanted the 6p from first glance, but my phone was still functioning so I waited till now to realize how fragile this phone is. I guess Ill have to pass on this now...
Thanks for making this video!
This is a knock off phone... There's no logo on this phone...
+Shash Pant Get my eyes checked for what? The phone in the video is still gonna be fake. There's no Nexus or Huawei logo anywhere on that phone .
+Travis Moss Jumatatu Look at 12 seconds
+Travis Moss Jumatatu but it does, quite clearly

You’ve never studied minerals in school?
The 6P is a joke no matter how it endures this, it'll get bootlocked before you get a single crack or scratch.
Only issue it has is battery life, which one would expect from a 6 year old phone that was used a LOT for 4.5 years
You should have a child try to bend phones with you, to show how strong, or most importantly how weak these phones are.
*Have a break, have a 6P*
Horrible build quality

Yes
Cool Dude It’s Johnny Test
It's crazy how much your videos have changed. You now don't go to an 8/9 for scratch test, because it will cause the issue you had with this phone breaking. Also, the "scratching" on the back panel isn't actually the phone scratching, which you are much more knowledgeable now.
I can see fanboy keyboard warriors are raging over this. To them: you bought* a piece of shit, get over it.
*Still many months left to pay off the arm and a leg price†.
†overpice.
really, I have dropped mine like twice a day since it came out and I only ever scratched it.
+Aleksandar Tadic its like $400 less than an iphone.
oh no my phone doesn't withstand a fucking scratch, being set in fire, and deliberately bent. if anyone actually took this test into consideration when buying a phone I'd be surprised
My Brand new nexus 6p fell out of my pocket onto my carpet from about 1 and a half feet up. Long story short, i now have 2 large cracks in my nexus 6p.

David Kinoshita im currently in love with my bendable g flex 2 :D (im that guy who would brake almost any phone in 1 week...)
...
CalculatinGenius my p9 lite fell from about two feet flat on the display and nothing happened.
I feel you I had a tablet I bought with my own money and my sister broke it glass bits fell of and the display is most likely broken
Why is every fanboy rambling about this nicely made video.
This was on my recommended and I thought this was a new video, but is 5 years old! I’m still gonna watch tho

I am HERE!
Hey thanks for this video, i wish that i would have watched this video before i purchased this phone. I had it in my back pocket and sat down, stood up to see a bent nexus :(. Keep up the good work, these videos are very helpful and i am now a subscriber so i dont make the same mistake again!
I don't remember that phone being that flimsy🤣
Who comes out after PIXEL 7 PRO BEND TEST.. YEAH ITS REALLY JOKE 😂😂😂
“The Nexus 6p is a joke!”
Me: So instead of “Nexus 6p” replace it with life and “the” with “my” and then you have the sentence of my life
Thats just fucking depressing 😂😂😂
Damn... my apologies to you Jerryrig. I commented on this video two years ago and completely trashed you. Today I have been subscribed for over a year and a half and love all your comment. I was a dumbass two years ago (nearly 3)
Thank you for not blocking me for my idiotic comments lol 😂 love your stuff man! 👍
The fact that expensive phones like this one are so easily broken makes me sick.
mykaiping First of, drop the insults and your terrible attitude; they aren't required. Secondly, you don't get my point; the are cheaper phones which are far more durable and resistant. An expensive phone like this one should be far more durable/resistant to bending and scratches. I don't see why anyone would not agree to what I've just said.
Lol watching this in 2019 seems like a joke phone
Thanks jerry for reminding me of this video during P40 Pro!
I'm about to upgrade my launch Nexus 6p and I've been watching your channel. I'm really looking forward to having so many upgrade options. Looking forward to the Galaxy note 9 tests and tear down videos.
Google shouldn't of let Huawei make it, it may look good and perform but material quality is a joke
When I saw Huawei built it I grew concerned
***** True and true, but still
+BUILD with IRON because you can't bend your phone accidentally...
huawei can make a phone with good build quality though(huawei mate 8)
+BUILD with IRON yea that too
I remember seeing this back then. Wow. 7 years. I was so angry because I had the phone. That being said, it served me well without any issue. I still have it burried somewhere and I think it works lol. Anyway you have made a long way since this video.
One of the best phones of all time. These durability tests were so irrelevant. Like who the hell burns or bends their phone.
Jerry is the reason to force Manufacturers for better build phones...
Really good videos, your uploads swayed me towards a Galaxy 9
isnt this pre release hardware?
this isn't a very good video. show the system settings and model numbers etc.
not a die hard fan though.
you said camera hump is scratch resistant , bro its made out of the same glass as the front ? -.-
plus do some research on aeronautical grade aluminum. lol
if you are familiar with the properties of glass you will understand how the glass on the camera covers a smaller surface area making it harder to scratch and break. however you could do so with a thin pointy compass it is not likely to happen using keys.
+Lukeiss Dunne surface area shouldn't affect scratch resistance.
+Christophe Jammet I said it effects crack resistance,my apologies if I was not clear on that.
+Lukeiss Dunne You said smaller area effects scratch resistance. Here is a quote from your post: "you will understand how the glass on the camera covers a smaller surface area making it harder to scratch and break"
It doesn't make it harder to scratch and break. It just makes it harder to break.
+Christopher Cox take a key. the glass on a camera protector is a 1×1 circumstance. if you have a coins or keys that are higher than that and therefore cannot fit in the hole then that makes it very very difficult if not impossible to scratch.
Jesus. The iPad pro didn't bend that easily.
It did xD
If you wanna see something bend even worse check out his nextbit robin bend test. Shit got bent like origami
Well look at how gentle you used to be with the screen
Crazy to see the classic scratch test here for the first time
