Yeah? Our plan right now is to wait until it's ALL done then release a big video. THEN we'll release the build videos in detail for those that want the deep dive.
You might consider building the suspension at full droop instead of at ride height, it takes into account everything in motion, it would suck to build the whole thing then realize it won’t turn when you hit a bump
Haven't seen you guys in a while. How about a R&C weekly or Spare parts update? Anything new with the Vette? Any new rides? Any other road trips? Whether is warm now, any of the rides riding? Inquiring minds want to know. lol
Hi Laryl thanks for watching! We've both been busy with our own builds and road trips and have been shooting more than we've been uploading. We have videos on the way!
That's nice. I think you should do your own show. Sounds like the other guy cledus doesn't really know what he's doing and not very interested anymore. Had a good thing going but it's over now time to do you rown thing
😆😂 i cursed at this car a lot. Thanks for the update. Good luck with that very ambitious project. I’m a mustang lover and I gotta say pretty damn cool. 👍🏻💯🤘🏻🤘🏻
Stupid question, and, legitimately not trying to be a jerk or anything! PLEASE don't take it that way! I'm just curious why the oil pan couldn't have been modified to move the low point / oil pickup in the pan forward to in front of the crossmember / steering linkage? Wouldn't a bit of cutting and welding to do that be easier than replacing everything? Or was there not enough space to move the low point of the pan to the front of the oil pan?
Great question! The issue is thatunlike the typical American V8 and it's ~7" deep oil pan. the actual pan on the jag is barely 1.5"!!! That's because the block skirt is very low so much of the oil sump is formed by the side of the block. Ergo you can't trim the sump very much!
@@ReidusandCletusTheShow Thank's for the explanation! :D Dang those Brits! First we have funky and finicky Lucas Electrics, and now Jag's making their engines persnickety too! :P
That one lowly sad looking light bulb behind him just looks so dejected and scared. Like It’s about to witness things a average human should not see. It’s terror is palpable right through my screen. Oh the humanity.
Go back to the Jag, cut off the entire front frame, steering and suspension and put it in the mustang!!! All coordination problems solved. Might as well grab the rear suspension while you are at it.
It would have been better with a Ford V10, and those aren’t great motors. Those jag motors are heavy and don’t make reliable power. If you have the $$$ my machinist builds those jag motors, probably one if the best in the country.
This is expensive fun. You are polishing a turd. That is not a problem but you are in turn are getting other people to throw money into a black hole. How do you feel about that?
Don't feel that you need to have a completed Mustang build in a single episode. We would all be SUPER happy with small updates and a 200 part series!

Research using a wheelbarrow to build a recess in the firewall. That's a trick hot rodders have been using for years.

gas tank held by gravity and dreams lol you just proved that the bolts were not necessary haha
Awesome...

Crazy projects for Clayton....hmmm...he does have a lead on that barn find 2CV.......motorbike engine swap it? :P
your Mustang is the same color as the one in the original gone in 60 second movie, was that intentional or just happened to be ?
Happy coincidence. It's a big part of why he bought it. We both love that movie
