I test drove the twin of this from my local dealership last week and my impressions are below, let me know if you agree or disagree with my take on the 2024 Jeep Compass Latitude, thanks. LIKES 1. Attractive overall body style, size, and shape 2. Modern overall interior design 3. Great view over the hood 4. High quality steering wheel fake leather look and feel 5. Good general outward visibility aided by blind spot monitoring in door mirrors 6. Generous head room, both rows 7. Plentiful knee room behind driver seat in second row seat with seat set for evaluator comfort 8. Easy entry/egress 9. Effortless acceleration 10. Smooth transmission shifting 11. Good ride 12. Tight handling 13. Good driver seat adjustability for height and depth to steering wheel 14. Good view of instrument panel through steering wheel 15. Availability of Universal Garage Door Opener (UGDO)* 16. Easy accessibility of engine oil dipstick, windshield washer fluid reservoir, engine coolant reservoir 17. Light hood weight 18. Low powertrain noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) 19. Easy to reach hard button to turn off stop/start function, located right underneath center screen left DISLIKES 1. Driver cloth seat bottom cushion too short and narrow, front half vinyl, summer leg burner 2. No spare tire, jack, lug wrench available, just an inflator kit, not enough for a side wall blow out 3. Driver seat lumbar only has horizontal adjustment with no vertical adjustment, too low for evaluator 4. Seat and steering wheel heat access in center screen, not as easy as hard buttons 5. Windshield wipers only reach about ¾ of the way up the glass 6. Hood has prop rod instead of lifting struts 7. Oil filter cannot be seen from hood opening to check if changed out during 3rd party servicing 8. Brake pedal too far to the right to make left foot braking easy 9. Headliner and A-pillar color too dark, makes interior seem like a cave
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I am considering it if I can get a spare tire, lug wrench, and jack for it because I did like driving it but I don't like not having a spare tire, I have blown out the side wall on other tires of cars I have owned and without a spare I would still be on the side of the road waiting for a flat bed. In general, the things I like do outweigh the negatives.
Toss up for sure! I think the Nissan is a bit nicer on the inside and drives a bit better. But the 3 cyl engine, not too sure about it's longevity vs the 4 cyl
@@BrosFOURRSpeed absolutely right before all this B's in the world started going on. You could get scatpack chargers for 40k 50k at highest now they are 60k prices of cars have went up 5,8,10k more then what they used to be who told them that the economy crash and we all got rich when the economy crash idk but somebody lied. It crashed and we did too with it but rent, food, cars, gas everything went up what's wrong with people?
This a Jeep Compass and Renegade it’s rebadged Fiat 500x and it has nothing to do with a jeep itself, my advice is get the GLA 250 and looks better than this, period
Nice thorough review
Appreciate the kind words!

Yeah definitely all good points! Is this a vehicle you plan on buying? Do the things you like outweigh the negatives?

2024 Jeep latitude or 2025 Nissan Rogue SL ?

This or Hyundai Tucson?
Hmm, Tuscon might be a bit more equipped for the money to be honest
@@BrosFOURRSpeed It is. Plus it handles better and is more reliable. And it’s bigger, Compass is on the smaller end of these SUVs
