Thank you, thank you a million times over. I've been trying and watching videos from "experts" in how to recover my cursor. I gave up and haven't touched my computer in months because I was so frustrated and perplexed. #JoannaYusof A MUCH EASIER WAY IS:- the reason the cursor disappears is normally because you have accidentally pressed the F6 key which is the touchpad key. It is the F6 key on a Lenovo laptop but might be a different key on another laptop. You can identify it as it is essentially a square box with a diagonal line through it. Much simpler solution than described in the video.

So i had this problem recently and you can do it faster by pressing your F6 button, or find the button that has the same icon as on this persons' Lenovo. It's easy to unconsciously press it. It disables/ enables your touchpad.
