I feel they will have and all park pass of some sort. I think giving them a couple months to figure it out and choose the right options. I feel they should give decent updates as changes are made. I feel like any big announcements are going to come August September when they start announcing new rides and stuff for next year. I feel that when your going to start and see the company start “working”
One of my friends said this when I told her about the merger, and when I said it doesn’t work like that. She still didn’t get it. Like, these parks aren’t just suddenly going to stop supporting the season passes they already sold.
I'm so thankful that I'm well past that "I hate Six Flags" funk that consumed me during the first third of the 2010's, or else I would now have to hate Cedar Point and Kings Island, which I cannot see myself ever doing.
Doubtful this would happen, but I would love to see some sort of 'a la carte' season pass option that would let you get season passes for parks that you choose to visit (like, regionally close by). Living in the northeast, I would love to get a season pass for a Great Adventure / Dorney Park double.
Hoping that Cedar Point isn't renamed to "Six Flags over Sandusky". If that happened, I'd buy a table factory just so I can keep flipping them as they come off the assembly line.
DO you think that the 2024 flash sale in August would have an option for all season park for the rest of 2024 going into 2025 of need to wait a whole calendar year?
There should be some CEDAR in the new name……it’s all Six Flags ! The new name should be…..”Cedar Six flags”, I thought it was a merger not a take over !
It’s a merger, they used the logo style of Cedar Fair (also retaining majority of Cedar Fair’s leadership team), while keeping the Six Flags name due to its better brand recognition
Legacy Six Flags Parks are the parks with the Six Flags branding that were owned by the old Six Flags prior to the merger. Legacy Cedar Fair Parks are the parks that were owned by Cedar Fair prior to the merger
The only thing that's visibly changed so far is the logo. The Six Flags wordmark is done in the same font as the prior Cedar Fair wordmark. Additionally, the dot on the "I" in the name is the same shape as the flag used in the prior Cedar Fair wordmark. That's it. That's all I got.
It is what I expected, and it's great that they clarified it, for those who were wondering. Their use of the word "legacy" makes me skeptical that our Six Flags legacy memberships will ever be able to be used at the former Cedar Fair parks. If they keep the legacy memberships, they may continue to only be valid at the legacy Six Flags parks, even into next year & beyond. But we can still hope.

@@Verdelite you sure? Everyone I know has it solidly at number 2, and closer to number 1 than 3. Realistically all they need after flash is a different style of woodie than toro and maybe a giga, but the giga isn't even necessary. Fiesta Texas definitely has some good rides, and so does Great America, but compare the top two at great adventure to either of those two's, and it's pretty clearly ahead, and then great adventure has a better supporting lineup than either of them on top of that, and flash will only extend that
6 flags parks are so awful. I hope that they don’t ever apply that name to the great Cedar Fair parks. I know that is not going to be the case. But, they need to market it differently. “6 Flags excitement with your “insert CF park name here” with community branding! We are going next level and enhancing your experience like never before!” I’m trying to be positive with this. But, gigantic corporate mergers only benefit shareholders. Just keeping it real.
@@JD.778 6 flags is so awful. Kings Dominion has local beers brewed to the theme of the various areas/rides in the park. And, they are brewed 2 miles away. Regional parks have to appeal to local tastes. The BIG BOYS (UNIVERSAL/DISNEY) have to appeal nationally or even internationally. That is not the case for the new Six Flags. Remember when cedar point bought Geauga lake / six flags Ohio, committed it was going to maintain the park, then shut it down the next season?
i hope they eventually release a timeline, even though that's stretching it

I saw people on instagram and Facebook saying they’re going to use their six flags pass at a cedar fair park 💀💀💀💀
They can try but that does not mean they will let them

Nope. Not going to happen yet with using SF passes at a CF park. They won’t acknowledge them. Just have to wait for an official announcement.
💀💀
GP at it's best

As long as they don’t try to mess around with my Diamond Elite Membership I’m good.

The websites and careers sites need to be merged for sure.
Dorney park too

As I mentioned in the video, I’m not sure!
For an extra $350 bucks on top of the season pass price
They kept that Six Flags name but kept the Cedar Fair vibe.

Please clarify. “All parks are owned by Six Flags.” It’s really now all owned by Cedar Fair as in Six Flags in name only.

I just hope the New all park szn passes arent $200+
Can cook you do a video the flash will be open what day or mouth
The park has not shared those details yet, but the ride will likely open in August
Ok
Why is ka closed?
Waiting on parts
Zamperla is starting a new project 😂
Honestly shouldn’t magic moutain should be six flags flagship park?
Magic Mountain isn’t a resort, Great Adventure is. Great Adventure is also the largest Six Flags Park by acreage
@@ColiwoodStudios ok thanks that explains a lot more
when is flash opening
Likely in August
bro great adventure is not the flagship park just because its your homepark 💀
It's still very close with magic mountain
