Friendly reminder, if you do suffer from alopecia, it doesn’t make you any less amazing of a mother, or artist, or friend, or professional. Your value comes from what a wonderful person you are, not your hair. So even in between treatments, you’re still just as worthy of love and appreciation.
I so wish your shop was near me, I suffer from severe anxiety & depression that is causing me to lose my hair. I seldom leave the house & never date.

I suffer from CCCA as well. I feel the same. I want to encourage you though to not give up. I lost so many years being depressed and hiding away afraid to get close to people particularly men. I hope you find a way to celebrate yourself.

I love the work that you do, her style is beautiful. I have a similar problem with hair loss in my crown, as this lady does. It is wonderful to know that our issues can be helped.
YOU'RE AMAZING!!!!! I'm not an African American lady, (this opened by accident...God's accident :) but my hair is thin on top so I watched it. My hair used to be so thick when younger...I'm 70 now. When my thyroid quit working, my hair thinned on top & almost stopped growing under my arms & on my legs. I don't mind the arms/legs issue...saves me time shaving. :) However, the top of my head is embarrassing. I've had a few friends who had the same problem. I'm a white lady. I don't know where you are, but if I thought you could help me have beautiful hair again, I'd come to you. She looked great in that style!!! Although, I'd recommend doing a before & after pic to show the INCREDIBLE transformation. You're really very skilled & talented. You made it look so easy. My best to you ladies who have issues. We all get more than a little sad when our hair & our looks start going. Sweetie, you're definitely blessed by God. I also have thinning from thyroid issues. I had horse tail thick beautiful Auburn hair. Now it's grey and brown and lays flat and depressed...it went into depression when I did 😉
You did a fabulous job on her hair! My mom had this same problem. Her condition was identical to this lady's. I wish she would have you to service her so she could have given up using those wigs. Excellent job Lady! Blessings

Glad to see you blended her hair. So many chop chop chop which upsets clients who already feel bad. To know that the existing hair can be blended increases client self esteem to know the healthy hair that exists will not be shaved off!!!
