Which stadium is your favorite? Comment your picks below!
Also if I missed any important information, make sure to comment what I missed!
Philadelphian here: there’s actually massive protests about the new Sixers stadium, and it’s pretty controversial. It’s likely going to be placed right in the middle of Chinatown, which could out price the current residents and destroy the thriving community that is there. This fear is not unfounded, as that’s what happened to DC’s Chinatown with the Capitals arena. Many people really like how all of the stadiums are right next to each other, as it makes parking and tailgating super easy and the main subway line has a stop right there. I’m not saying the stadium doesn’t need updates, but I really wish they would just renovate the current stadium instead of build a new one right in the middle of downtown
One thing you didn’t say about the controversy is how bad traffic will be in the area. I used to work where they want to move the new arena and it’s already bad traffic in downtown Philly but adding a national sports team w fans coming in from all over the tri state area, & potentially the world depending on the event, it would make life much more difficult trying to get to the arena which is why everyone in the area hates the idea
Didn't even know about any of this! That's actually wild that they're putting it in the center of Chinatown, hopefully a peaceful resolve is made, or at least in the long run it somehow benefits Chinatown?
@@iHeartDash Seriously I don't know why everyone complains about the stadiums all being together in South Philly right off the highway. I feel like it mitigates traffic pretty well (granted I usually take the Subway down to avoid all of it). And yeah I avoid driving in Downtown Philly so adding an arena is just gonna make it a mess
@@HeapsYT I'm hoping for the best, but considering there's already been a ton of peaceful protests and letter writing campaigns and not much change, I'm not holding my breath
Also a Philadelphian here and sixers hated the modern sixers are running the sports complex charm with this I remember when they still had veterans and the spectrum in Philly while Wells Fargo, the linc and citizens bank park was open so idk why they just can’t rebuild or just update Wells Fargo
I'm not sure if you know this but In the Golden 1 Center Arena, the entrance can be opened up completely, like the mirrors fold in half and the light and air that comes in is so relaxing and it basically gives the feel that its an open arena. Iv'e been there twice and I can say its so beautiful and the Chase Center aswell is a great arena.
I don't know how I missed that! I appreciate this info, that sounds amazing!
As a pacers fan I was not expecting us to be at 4. I’ve been to pacers games and I guess I’ve never really realized how nice of a stadium we have
It's an amazing arena!!!
Like I said in the NFL stadium video with Gillette, I'm glad the TD Garden is getting that post-renovation love. That new entrance you see at the beginning of nationally televised games with the escalators always looks great. Also, put me in the minority of the ones that find the new trend of putting grass on top of newer arenas very weird, especially when there isn't anything else growing as well.
Yeah both New-England-Team stadiums improved substantially after both of their respective renovations! And you're not the only one, I've seen other comments say how they're not a fan of the grass covered designs!
Thank you for giving Gainbridge Fieldhouse such a high ranking! It’s bound to get more deserving praise from the thousands of NBA fans flying in for All-Star weekend too. The new Bicentennial Unity Plaza outside the arena will definitely get packed up too.
For all the talk that Indiana is nothing more than a flyover state, Indianapolis is the anomaly and the downtown layout is absolutely perfect for hosting big sports events.
Both Gainbridge and Lucas Oil are two absolutely beautiful stadiums! Even as a Celtics fan I would love to fly down there some point next year and catch a game at both stadiums!
@@HeapsYT you should definitely consider doing that! The airport is only 15 mins away from downtown and there are many hotels and restaurants within just a few blocks distance from each stadium. Gainbridge Fieldhouse alone has two popular sports bars just a block away, and two hotels directly facing the arena entrance.
@@317sportsball That sounds absolutely amazing! The more I think about it I just want to put it in my calendar right now haha
I think the arena is nice, but the players complained about it being too cold throughout All Star weekend, but they were quite cold themselves wit that pathetic game.
Great video. As a South Floridian I do like the Kaseya Center but the exterior is good but the interior looks dark and dated. Despite it being 25 years old that arena needs some work done. Hopefully one day they can do a major renovation since the heat are like one of the NBA’s top rated teams.
If the Hawks stadium, State Farm Arena, wasn't so small it would be higher up, to be honest. The interior is AMAZING and actually works very well as a concert venue.
Oh I bet! It looks ideal for concerts!
talks of moving to virginia cause the stadium is "so bad" but already signed a deal months ago to move cause DC didnt want to fund anymore
Cleveland, Golden State, Milwaukee, Orlando, and Sacramento are my top 5. The Best location for a stadium is the Miami Heat.
Nice vid bro
Thanks bro I appreciate you wacthing!
All NBA arenas are beautiful ❤
no
The exterior of the United Center is supposed to pay homage to the original Chicago Stadium.
That explains a lot haha, I appreciate this info!
Wizards and Caps dodged a bullet not moving to Alexandria, it would have been $75 for event parking, $750 a night for the onsite hotel and a 90 minute wait for the Metro home from Potomac Yards Station.
Glad they’ll renovate Capital One Arena.
Took all that damn drama for the damn mayor to finally cough up some money for the renovations
@@DannyGrc It was still on the table when Ted Leonsis went to Alexandria which was the third attempt to build a stadium or arena on the Potomac Yards site. The first was Jack Kent Cooke in the early 1990s proposed new Redskins Stadium which got shot down, mid 90s was supposed where Bill Collin’s proposed site for a Northern Virginia expansion team that would have been called the Virginia Fury, which finished 3rd in the late 90s expansion contest where Tampa Bay and Arizona got teams and then Ted Leonsis tried to build there and it was stricken from the state budget. Meanwhile Mayor Bowser’s final offer was still on the table when Leonsis crawled back on his hands and knees.
@@rockvilleraven they’ve been asking her for years is what I meant, took looking somewhere else for her to finally give a reasonable offer
Could you do a "Every Teams Best Era Of Jersey" or your style video of "Best/Worst Current & Vintage Jerseys"
American Airlines center Definetly Looks Like A Commercial Aircraft Hangar and im certain that is the purpose of the design
Same thing with the Toyota Center....... definitely gives a car dealership vibe
@@tmzz3609 thats what i like about some of these arena designs!
@@tmzz3609 agreed and its awesome
Fiserv forum was built right next to the other two Milwaukee Bucks former arenas.
Yep! I remember visiting Fiserv during a North vacation. I remember the MECCA arena was still there, Bradley Center was nothing but a construction site! MECCA was still there but now called the UWMilwaukee Panther Arena!
I recently went to a game at ball arena. Dude the atmosphere there was crazy even though the station is mid. The atmosphere really does carry it. Thanks for not rating it super low like some people.
It's a great arena! I hope I can visit it one day!
thanks! Also amazing video i loved every second of it @@HeapsYT
@@Sky_Watchers Thanks man I appreciate you!
14?!?! We're sponsored by Dos Equis...Always lit! 😂
Hell yeah G1C number 1! It's awesome 😎
I as a suns fan I love walking in lol.
I went to Chicago stadium, boston gardens ,Charlotte coliseum, amd the omni in Atlanta back in the day @Heaps!!😮
That's awesome! Wish I had the pleasure to visit the older stadiums!
G1C 🔛🔝
I live near TD Garden. Definitely super accessible as its right in the city but also the traffic jam is brutal during event nights...
I always park at Assembly or Sullivan square and take the T into the city, so I don't usually experience the traffic!
Only number five for MSG. You didn't mention the chase bridges that no other stadium has
This is very interesting - it appears "lower-market teams" have the better stadiums. Please do a ranking video on biggest potential careers that ended badly, e.g. Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin, Latrell Sprewell to mention a few...
Great idea! Adding it to my list!
Can't wait for mlb
Stay tuned!
Yayyy
When they change the certain logo from time to time, They really be doing that in between games?
Usually they will do it over the off-season, just to have enough time for the team, merchandise, and branding to all have adequate time to update and get used to it. However there are some few and far examples of teams doing it mid-season!
TD Garden, MSG, United Center, Chase Center, Staples Center TOP 5
Fair!
The sculpture behind Miami’s Jumbotron is the Sun! Miami Heat!
Capital One is nice on the inside!
I go to a lot of magic games. Very nice area. Very nice stadium.
It really is!
Was not a fan of MSG when I went there prolly the tightest seating I’ve ever seen in a stadium
The Delta Center may not be the best arena in the NBA objectively speaking, but it's a building with a lot of history. And the fact that it was built primarily for basketball makes it unique, as most other arenas were built for basketball and hockey. The upper and lower bowls are so steep, fans are right ontop of the action, it also makes the place much louder than most other arenas. That combined with the elevation, makes it an intimidating place for opposing teams to play in.
The arena underwent a renovation in 2017, and will undergo another renovation to make it more appropriate for hockey now that we have a team. Overall, while I'm not crazy on the boxy exterior design, the inside looks nice, and is always clean. I do appreciate you actually elaborating a little bit on why you dislike it, unlike Depressed Ginger who just constantly trashes the place because he's judging it off of nothing but Google images, lmao
Depressed Ginger is funny to me, he's just a pissy dude who ranks thing without proper reasoning, but that's what I love about him haha.
Also, hopefully the Bulls rebuild soon, I actually am dying to see the Delta center be home to electric basketball again!
Btw some of this NBA Arenas/Centers share it with their NHL counterparts
Yeah! 10/30 NBA teams share with an NHL team!
11:21 LA Clippers TLL an egg with racing stripes. The Running Egg. Pun intended (Runny Egg) lol
Having Kia Center at #8 is wild…I’m from Orlando and the arena pales in comparison to Phoenix and Charlotte (the other two arenas I’m most familiar with). Also the area around Kia Center is trashy.
You should do NHL stadiums
On my list!
Bro that makes these vids gotta live in Boston lol
My top-5s are: 1) Chase Center - 2) Madison Square Garden - 3) Miami Heat Stadium - 4) Orlando Magic Stadium - 5) TD Garden Boston Stadium
Same
Imagine putting MSG 5 and Barclay 22😂😂😂
State Farm and Detroit above Cleveland? Come on man lol
They're all pretty close imo, I had a tough time choosing between the 3 but I would say they're all on the same tier.
I wish the Staples Center didn't change names. It was just so iconic.
Agreed! Doesn't roll of the tongue anymore.
MLB next bro, best stadiums overall
Definitely!
They’re Arenas not Stadiums
"it really is the lucas oil of the nba"
*same exact city that lucas oil is in*
Haha I know that's why I made the comparison, I thought it was kinda neat how the stadiums seems very similar being in the same city!
Any stadium with its own name and not a brand name automatically gets points.
Very true!
I saw Trans Siberian Orchestra at Wells Fargo Center
That's awesome!
TD Gardens is number one on my list for the best. 😀👍🏀
Good choice!
@@HeapsYT thanks. 😀👍🏀
My Bucks at the #2 spot🥹
18:57 Bucks stadium be looking to much like a book for me. lol
Edited: and a turd with windows from the side. lol
Grizzlies has to be last
Been to Chase and golden 1 center… Chase is way better and nicer
They're not "stadiums!" They're arenas!
I know 😭
Why do you refer to these as stadiums when they are Arenas or Fieldhouses
Arenas are a type of stadium, I definitely could've been more specific though!
uhhhh am i trippin or are the raptors not in this ranking list?
It's at #19!
@@HeapsYT Thanks! Dont know how i missed it
A far from old Boston Garden. Sure it was a dump, but it was our dump.
Wish I had the privilege to watch at least one game in the old garden, sadly time didn't see it that way!
#Roudballitude!
LTBBB
Did you actually go to all these arenas or are you just judging them by looking at photos on Google Earth and reading about them on Wikipedia? What a silly video
I do prefer a stadium to be not downtown. It really messes with local traffic and crowds busses, other than looking nice it doesn’t contribute much to the locals
I get that! But a downtown stadium done right is heaven!
Why do so many teams mimic the OG Spurs black court? Stick to your brand/colors.
Intuit fomeeeee
Barclay's center is one of the worst arenas I've been to
OKC fans are best in nba at Matching Color Shirt Designs. imhonaf.
Why do the wizards suck at everything
Little Ceasers Arena is horrible games & concerts. Especially if u sit up top. The speakers are below u so all u hear is the feedback. Hate it there. Love my city tho
Smoothie King is the ugliest arena in the nba
Idk why but it genuinely makes me cringe when ppl refer to an arena as a stadium.. a stadium doesn’t have a roof
My fault haha
Not all stadiums have a roof like us bank stadium
Yeah it was messing with me too it’s great content tho otherwise
GOLDEN 1 CENTER IS THE ABSOLUT WORST ARENA IN THE NBA IT IS JUST HORRIBLE
I'm sorry but NY MSG is a dump
A lot of this crap you've just made up. Specifically, let's talk about the golden state warriors that is not in a nice part of town. Before that thing was built, it was a shit hole and still is a shit hole where it was built. And we also know that you have not been to every single stadium
I noticed you always start your opinion by saying something positive....well, that's because there's NOTHING WRONG with any of these arenas. If I was an NBA player, I'd be happy to play in ANY of them...
I understand the need for you to create new videos as quickly as possible, but the point of this video is, well, pointless.....
???? Every stadium has it's positives, but that doesn't mean some aren't clearly better than others haha. Also viewers love these videos, providing people with entertainment is by no means pointless lol
Horrible list the toyota center is no where near the worst arena in the NBA it's not the best but far from the worst.
It really doesn't offer anything at all lol
@HeapsYT smoothie king center is way worse than the Toyota center. Toyota center has 50 cents lounge and bar in there you're wrong
@@pimpc713 I can actually see that take, either way they're both clearly bottom of the league.
@@HeapsYT I could name more arenas worse than the Toyota center Denver Portland Washington Philadelphia Oklahoma city Utah San Antonio
nothing more overrated than Madison Square Garden.
And with that being said. Trash list. With that being said.
As soon as you named the first one, I knew this list was going to be fuckin ass smfh
Kaseya Center should be higher and TD Garden much lower.
