Just bought my first ever mystery box from padawan outpost. Paid the cheaper one 65 quid ended up getting this blade in neopixel lol couldnt believe it
I am so confused rn. My button doesn’t flash, it just stays lit on so I can’t change colour, mode, sound font etc, my dad assumed it was due to needing an update so tried to take the core out but instead disassembled the whole thing. When I put the blade in and turn it on it doesn’t light up. My dad has no idea how to re assemble everything and neither do I. What do you suggest I should do? 🤷♂️
I would contact the vendor you purchased from as and them for assistance buddy. They may be able to send you a video on how to reassemble the hilt. What one do you have?

New question to anyone thats got this... I finally picked one up - lovely hilt. BUT - just the two grub screws holding the blade in? All my other sabers have at least 3 screws... The blade wobbles doesnt matter how well those two grub screws are tightened.... seems like it needs at least a third screw to keep the blade from wobbling... am I doing something wrong here?
There will always be a little bit of play in the blade, just nip up the screws and remember that the LGT blades so move around inside. There’s a few times I’ve been swinging one and thought it was loose but turned out just to be the blade internals

I think the 2 screws aren't enough - sure they stop the blade falling out.. but they don't stop a tiny bit of lateral wobble unless the blade itself is a very tight fit in the emitter aperture. I think they should have a minimum of 3 screws for a blade then it would avoid the issue completely. Ill look into padding out the blade in the emitter to stop the wobble. Thanks and best wishes.

I would recommend proffie to anyone who isn’t afraid of a steep learning curve when it comes to programming the board for adding more soundfonts and blade styles but xeno is for everyone IMO

@@AbsoluteSabers alright. Also, when I’m changing the sound font of the saber (without the blade in) and I turn it on, I can’t see any light flashing out of the bottom of the saber, how do i fix this!
@@broitsjonny2607 out of the bottom? You mean the top? The lit pixel connectors were only just recently added over the past few months, you may have gotten unlucky and got a slightly older model without it

Hey there! my 16yr old daughter is looking to purchase her first light saber. We have watched your budget saber videos and they are very helpful. In one of your videos you reviewed the Xenopixal V2 model Iota light saber. How does that saber compare to this one? Also, can both have the DD07 update? Can all of the sabres update compatible? We are confused on which light sabers have the updates. She mostly cares about the accurate sounds when swinging the saber. Definitely need a budget saber. Also we are in the USA if that matters. Hey thanks for the great feedback! So excited for your daughter to get her first saber! So, all of the “Xenopixel” sabers are compatible with the xeno updates such as DD07 & newer updates that will come out in figure, these updates are specific to this soundboard. Don’t confuse xenopixel with Neopixel, they are two different terms. The xenopixel is the name of the sound board, there are different soundboards out there such as proffie & CFX to name a couple but the Xenopixel is the PERFECT starter! Secondly, neopixel is a blade technology that we often refer to in the community to indicate that the leds or “pixels” are in the blade and not the hilt like a baselit, they are far superior and in my opinion give a far better experience than the base lit sabers. The Xenopixel sabers all use neopixel blades & have smooth swing, to give those accurate swing effects that she’s looking for :) As for the iota & PAD1 specifically, they are both great choices, I think padawan outpost are out of stock of the PAD1 at the moment but they still have a great range of Xenopixel sabers. Hi Sam, just a thought it’d be awesome if when a new xeno update comes out that really makes the board different you could post a video? Just seen DD07 release but I know many won’t and in my opinion DD07 is a real game changer!

It'd really be awesome if LGT would do a standalone xeno core with pcb on both ends, like the mini maul, but just the core. I need that in my life. I never got any good with a saber, until the day I stuck 2 together, and then omg, it clicked, and now I have enough skill to embarrass myself by thinking it impresses my friends, rather than makes me look like a dweeb. They already give me that treatment over my transformers :( I'm only 50yo and a grandpa of 2, so what's the big deal? I'm still a kid!!

Yea you can but I personally don’t as the neopixel blades can be quite expensive to replace (£100) or there abouts if they break
