I keep coming back to this time and again video cause I really loved this minimal, simple, natural look 😍 Love your makeup looks and style, Alix! It’s so nice to see your evolution… You’ve influenced my own style so much! You have no idea… We even share the same color palette 🤎 Wish you all you the best! 🌸
My eyelids have been puffy too! For me it happens every year when the heat turns on - I always take a bit of time in the morning with an ice cube in a washcloth and do some gua sha-inspired movements around my eyes and that takes away the inflammation. Something to try, since ice is an accessible tool!
Yap the eye puffiness is probably an irritation caused by a product. I was using a lash serum for easily a month then out of nowhere developed puffiness (not itchy or anything either just swollen and reddish) on my eyelids. As it was the only new product I had introduced to my skincare routine in years I knew straight away it was the culprit. Still able to use it for my brows though with no problems. 😉
When I do a look like this I always use my Becca under eye brightener. Makes a big difference in how fresh your face looks. I think you'd really enjoy that one actually. X
I feel you on the puffy eyes! I discovered that when I go a little overboard with my eye cream on the orbital bone, it makes my lids puffy. So maybe take it easy on the eye cream (especially if it contains actives like retinol)? 🤷🏻♀️
I bet you'd look really nice with brown mascara, and perhaps that would call less attention too. I'm not sure what to recommend for the puffy eyes, I'm sure you've heard it all before. It's possible that it could be a food allergy, or maybe the way you are sleeping at night? Only thing I can think of is something cold pressed onto the eyelid for a minute, and maybe a nice big glass of lemon water.. I think its supposed to calm inflammation? Love your videos, find your voice very soothing. I have also streamlined much of my makeup these days, and barely wear any.
I had the exact same problem you have with my lids for 3 weeks and I later realized that a YSL mascara I just bought was the reason, some sort of allergic reaction I guess. So I immediately stopped anything new I was using and bought antihistamine eyedrops and it went away after 3-4 days :) Hope that helps!
Here on the east coast of Australia we were wearing masks last summer because of hazardous bushfire smoke. This year because of Covid. Two significant impacts of climate change- fire and disease. The pessimistic side of me says that in 10 years time we’ll be watching these videos going ‘oh how cute! They didn’t have to take oxygen tanks out with them then!’ 😞
I really love your videos, but this is not a "no make look", but a nude or minimal makeup :D You basically have a full face of makeup on, just not a heavy one. Don't get me wrong, this is not meant to be criticism, I just really laughed about the title :D

I never ever skip your uploads!! Your aura is sooo soothing.
Have you tried brown mascara? I always use a brown one for "no-makeup" just for a little colour
Such a good idea! What’s your favorite?

Going to persevere with the gua sha but will definitely try ice, thank you! 💛
@@icovetthee Maybe and odd one but I freeze my tea bags and use them in the morning. It´s a weird one but it helps.
This was so calming to watch Alix :) Same with the puffy eyelids, I'm thinking change of weather or just way more screen time making eyes tired! xx

Can I ask what skincare you used beforehand? Your skin looked great even before you started
Love your makeup looks, it’s never a ‘look’ just enhancing an already beautiful base (face)!

Love the idea of doing a lightweight foundation mixed with an oil and also, I definitely need to pick up that Nyx lip colour 🥰 xx
It felt so beautiful going on! 💛
Ive been waiting for this video for a while 😍 love the softness of it all
You’re not the only one who’s been hunting for a London lip liner for years 😭 I feel like such a fool!
Clear eyebrow gel on the top and bottom lashes is 👌🏼 ... and perhaps exactly what you’re looking for 😊
Such a perfect and NATURAL no makeup makeup look, thank you! ❤️
Thank you! 💛

Absolutely loving your natural look

Why don't you look in front ? You always look sideways. No offense.
