Speaking with enthusiasm! It took me a long time to learn this. I felt really awkward initially and I often have to remind myself to up my speech. But all these tips are really great!
Katarina H - you are right - speaking with enthusiasm is not easy. I always let my clients make their first video in their normal speaking voice, so they can see how "flat and boring" they appear. It's a good motivator to ramp up the enthusiasm!
These are great tips! And applicable not to just video but to public speaking in general! My tip for making great professional looking videos is to record with editing in mind. What I mean is that if you ever edited your own videos, you know how hard it is to make transitions smooth. So my tip is to look at the camera for a few seconds before you start speaking and continue looking at the camera for a few seconds after you stop speaking. Learned this the hard way! :)
Victoria Liozynyansky - thank you. I do the same thing - there you go - another bonus tip! Then I use my best expression for part of the custom thumbnail. Oh, and another one -there is always clapping your hands a few times - I do three claps, so you can see where you are within the timeline. - Thanks again, Victoria!😀😀
I'm such an editing nerd :) I actually go through the whole video and find moments I need to edit. I leave spaces and I can see them, but I still prefer to go through everything. Perfectionist, what can I say :)
ha ha .. nostril shots... ha ha ha ..... Lighting is the Queen! that's what I know! LOL ... otherwise even our dress codes won't work! So much to think about ... Elizabeth ( and great tip about earrings etc for other talks, like TED.. i know you didn't mean it for that but it made me think.. oh yeah... think about that! ~Elizabeth
LOL, Wild Woman Enchanted. I was at a TEDx recently and 3 talks were ruined by dangling earrings hitting the microphone. I couldn't believe you could produce a TEDx and let someone on stage with long earrings!!
What is your tip for making better videos? I'd love to hear your tips and tricks - 😀

I definitely need to set up a better light system for my videos!
Your lighting is not so bad, Social Media Love! 😀😀
I do the same thing: I'm not a natural smiler so I post a sign near the camera to remind me. Good video.
That's a great idea, Ken Haedrich. We can so easily lose our smile as we focus on our words. 😀😀
@@SueFerreira75 I like your videos...I hope you keep making them.
