Patara, I lived in a camper with my 2 kids for the past 9 months. It was rough, but we kept watching you, being encouraged and kept canning, incubating chicks, seed saving, dehydrating, seed starting, starting our garden and never giving up. Thank you for your time, encouragement and boldness. Jesus needs us to keep doing that!

I went through something similar some years ago, never lost my joy in the Lord. And after months, the Lord blessed me and closed that window and opened a window so full of blessings that I am still amazed at our Lord. Love and blessings to you and your family.❤

I raised 3 daughters as a single mom, and I found myself working all week to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. Then the weekend would come and I had all the household chores that needed to be done and I found I didn't have quality time to spend with my girls. We instituted a 15 minute a day chore routine. For 15 minutes we would turn on the radio and do chores. The girls were 5, 6 and 9. I didn't care what chore they did and often they didn't do it the way I would have done it but that was ok the next time I would work with them on it, and it improved over time. We made the 15 minutes fun, and it was amazing how much we could get done in just 15 minutes weekends we had time todo fun things together and it was better for all of us

I have a Husband like that, he sees it as Our Home, Our Work. He gets up about 4 in the morning does his Bible Study. He loves to sweep and mop...says it gives him something to do. He did a load of laundry night before last. I hardly ever have laundry, I do laundry every day except Sunday. My Honey loves to cook too...he eats 3 times what I do, and slim as can be.
I'm in Florida 25 miles from Jacksonville...we did fine here...power flickered a few times, but Thank God it's still on.
I did a huge cleaning last January...haven't bought a thing. Almost everything I own, you can see. That January clean out did miracles.
I'm Thankful my children are grown...been grown. This lady is older now...I'm determined to enjoy the rest of my life. Lost my best friend last week...she was 64.
Life is so short...Enjoy some of it. God Is Good.

Over the past three weeks, I canned 19 pints of venison chili with beans, 16 pints of venison Sloppy Joe, 14 pints chicken, 18 quarts of ground venison vegetable soup, 5 quarts chicken soup, 5 quarts chicken mulligan, 12 quarts vegetable soup, 20 quarts of beef tips, 10 quarts of venison tips, lots of chicken stock. Already have pickles, tomato relish, jams, cowboy candy, potatoes........Still have to can pinto beans, apple butter, blueberry jam and cherry jam. I do the timer thing too. It really makes a difference. During that time, I do not stop to check my emails, take calls, etc. I already started Fall cleaning and will be happy to join your challenge!

Patara, my husband is a medically disabled former police officer. He he retired now after a heart attack and his epilepsy getting pretty bad. I am retired military after battling cancer (and beating it), developing fibromyaligia as well as severe PTSD. All medical issues in mind, we didnt give up on life. I work 2 jobs but still managed to build a 1/2 acre raised bed garden (because we have an oil pipeline under our property). I started seeds for it all except what we lost in the month of rain in June. Even though I work a lot, I still can, dehydrate and preserve everything I can get my hands on. My husband will never give up. My senior in-laws are very much asleep and refuse to wake up. So I've been gifting boxes of jars I grow & can. We pick up a 50lb bag of potatoes every fall from a farm for them. We just have to make it look like gifts rather than prepping them. We gifted them oil lamps, medical bags, ect... Both my husband and I know whats coming and want to help. The point here is... no matter what God blesses you with (good and bad), pick it all up and keep going. God gives the biggest battles to his strongest warriors.

Fly Lady was a great resource for keeping your house clean. One room or "zone" each day. Setting a 15 minute timer to declutter, etc. Don't think you have to spend hours cleaning. A little here and there goes a long way.

Not tired of my garden, house or family, just tired of a full time outside job. I can’t wait to spend time on the things around I love.

I went to the grocery with my sister today, i have Multiple Sclerosis and I have a hard time going and unloading my car by myself. We both bought a bunch of groceries for our pantry, and we bought a bunch of Chicken thighs and legs. We got back to my house and we vacuum sealed them all. Hers and mine. Ive been canning tomatoes this week., I made 19 pints of salsa. This girl is whipped. I really want to clean my blinds and wash my curtains. But ive still got tomatoes to get up. Im having a hard time keeping up with eith everything. With my health issues. But im putting up and doing something everyday. Petra i just love you girl. The other day my back and legs were just killing me in pain , i feel like im just overwhelmed, i sat down and just started crying. I watched one of your videos, and it was the one about us going into a great depression. I got back up and canned 24 more quarts of tomatoes i was up until 4am. But i got it done. I dont know anyone else that's preparing. My son and his wife work so many hours. They cant do it. My siter and I are canning from my sons garden. They don't even have time to pick it. So we are putting it up. Watching you from Kentucky ❤

Hubby and I hit Walmart yesterday and ALDES today (since our garden didn't do so well this year) And each time we go I feel so much better. I had major dental work done today as well so that kind of knocked me down a bit. So tomorrow,,, I have plans. It's time to purge part of my kitchen cabinets. How in the world I acquired so many glass tumblers I'll never know LOL. So once I take some out to donate, and some to keep, I should have a nice section to use for more needed things. I have custard bowls and soufle dishes that need a place, that'll be the answer 🙂Then I have 2 bottom and 2 top cabinets that need to be emptied, sorted to date, and some brought in the pantry. Wow I should have more space to move some of my 'on the counter' appliances in the bottom ones. Ooohhh! I'm excited because I've wanted to get the darn toaster off the counter. LOL (And the extra coffee maker, etc) I'm writing this on a post-it so I fill my goal. AWESOME IDEA PATARA! 😃

Then for a week you can hardly bathe in it because of the smell of chlorine. No boil order nothing. I go thru water filters fast. Now they’re saying cut down on water usage. The electric company is telling us our bill is going up by 83% at the daycare and 70% at home. I keep pushing thru but I feel like sometimes my knees are going to buckle and I won’t get back up.
