As a Mirage main, I’d have to agree with the “we play him because of his personality” I just love the “You got bamboozled” line, and you really have to be good and smart with your decoys rather than throwing a decoy every second for no reason, Mirages whole thing is to trick the enemy, so if they shoot your decoy their just gonna move on, but if you’re in a fight you can throw a decoy out to distract/confuse the enemy and if they shoot it, that’s when you can push them and get the jump on them, I mostly play aggressive as Mirage, or I’ll pull a flank. And Mirages Ult can be obviously countered if the enemy is a decent player, but like his Ult can be used in one or two ways, either confuse the enemy, or to GTFO of the situation you put yourself in, Mirage is a pretty useless character when it comes to all the other legends, but he’s just fun to use in my opinion, I’ll either play bloodhound or octane if I’m being serious, but Mirage is definitely my favourite character to play, I’m just that type of player.
As a wattson main I can confirm, other wattsons must be deleted. As for the level of skill, I've always said there are only 2 types of wattsons. Wattsons who are cracked and will somehow (even in master/pred lobbies) get you into a fence and absolutely melt you or; the wattsons who see a gunfight and have fear in their eyes and regret picking any fight at all.

As a crypto main the reason I find myself being so slow every game is that you have to decide how you wanna play each game out, you don’t know if you wanna play aggro ar’s and smgs or defensive with snipers and whatnot so you end up taking a long time to pick what you want

As a representative of all 7 Rampart mains worldwide, it was a really pleasant surprise for our stereotype to not be "they don't exist" or "they're crappy campers". That being said your stereotype is... mostly accurate. Applying to me, at least. I play just to have fun. I haven't touched ranked since season.... 4, I believe? And even there I didn't go far before I just said "meh." and went back to pubs. I also almost always attempt to be friendly to enemies if I end up without a team for one reason or another. It rarely works out, but when it does, it really feels like you made a mate right there. Even if they suddenly kills you later on. I also agree about Sheila. I'm not sure if buffing her spin-up would make her just right or OP AF. Edit: Shout outs to all my 4 plonkers in the comments! Wattson is the 4D chess character and so few people main her. Seeing someone else play her is inherently a challenge to your pride, or like watching someone hit on your SO. You gotta put them in their place and assert dominance.

That new cloaked feature is op, but you can't get any information now when throwing the decoys at grenades and fences. But overall I'm happy for Mirage finally climbing up

Seer main here, we exist, you just have a hard time finding us because we're either lurking in the shadows or right above you the entire time waiting for the damn Octane or Valk to stop loafing around and get to the pinged spot.
F. I'm no Mirage main, but I do play him (I'm finally almost at 1k kills with him! My plan is to bamboozle 1 million people) and I usually always release a decoy to run beside me just in case some random player in the distance tries to take a shot at me. This actually works. I remember I faced a Mirage once, he knocked me and he placed a decoy beside himself as he ran around and most people would accidentally shoot the decoy. The funny thing is that, I think most players are pretty unaware of their surroundings and so it's easy for a team to simply follow another team into an area to strike. I've had teammates who will follow a team and attack them once they started looting again, or as soon as one separates from the group. So I always assume there's a possibility someone could be watching. Plus if they shoot from somewhere, he gets a hint as to how far away they are, as well as the direction they're located.
Not a Valk main, but can still confirm. Gotta keep that ult for the right moment. Anyone got an idea how open you are flying around up there. Which also explains the healing. It's pure habit from when you take dmg it being lots of dmg. In pubs when your team has to ask in chat for your ult :D
Honestly, all the other Valk mains I've seen do all of the thing's you've mentioned- I try and stay away from it, and I actually won a bunch of games using her ult (I'd type the whole story but I'm too lazy)

I learned my tactical lessons on kings canyon 😭 those hard 3 stacks were sickening. Omg and the ult tracking! I used to barely drop it because of those 3 stacks too 😭😭🤣 but still op love the good sis. In the best place with her now. I also resonate with the Wattson mains who love killing their fellow selves. It feels great killing a Loba 😭🤣

I don't have a specific legend that I play, but surprisingly, Seer is the one that I personally perform best with. There's just something that makes me calm in any situation because I know where my enemy is pretty much at all times.
As a Valk main i strongly disagree. Mostly because (It's not the matter of an ego, but) I'm an experienced player and I know two things - flying as high as humanely possible makes you a vulnerable target and If I ever use the missle swarm I fly just for 3 seconds max. Also I'm the one who asks my teammates - Hurry up and get your ass in my ultimate. I use it every time I can, even in endgames since It's a constant scan and allows me to rotate to high grounds or to safety. My point - Yes these valks from level 200 to 350 are always like Ashton described, but any more experienced Valks will just annihilate enemies

On behalf of all crypto mains, I gotta say that if its your first time using crypto then you stay in ur drone the entire game, but if ur experienced u use the drone for recon and the ult
i cant say much for battle royale since im absolute dookie water with mirage in that mode (which is why i use horizon) but for the lmtd control mode, i mainly use mirage as like short range recon. i can throw a decoy into a zone to see if there is anybody in the area. works 85% of the time

As a valk main I can confirm that I’m only level 280 or so and I don’t often fly straight up but I do use it in taps to get away every time I take damage
As a crypto main, I can confidently say that it's almost the complete opposite feeling Watsons have when they see another. Sure, you want to out skill the other crypto, but then you start thinking, does he have emp? And then the panic sets in because you don't have yours yet and can't stop it from happening
For mirage, not that I was great at him or main him, but I use my decoy while walking in a straight line even when no one’s around so that in case we get spotted and get shot down, there’s a chance they shoot the decoy instead. Of course usually with a squad, it’s a 1/4 chance of making them shoot the wrong one, but a chance is a chance. And it will alert us without harm that someone has started sniping us if they shoot the decoy, or unless they just miss.
Why Mirage? All the bamboozling. Also doing his dance emotes with 7 decoys out is pure fun. Imagine a Mirage/Fuse/Wattson team. No shooting only quips and giggles. Pure adorable and laid back fun.
I speak for all us Mirage mains, we keep using decoys, just in case their IS somebody nearby

I usually save my explosives for when I use my black hole so people are basically forced to have their shields broke.

i cant say much for battle royale since im absolute dookie water with mirage in that mode (which is why i use horizon) but for the lmtd control mode, i mainly use mirage as like short range recon. i can throw a decoy into a zone to see if there is anybody in the area. works 85% of the time

Sure, you want to out skill the other crypto, but then you start thinking, does he have emp? And then the panic sets in because you don't have yours yet and can't stop it from happening

For mirage, not that I was great at him or main him, but I use my decoy while walking in a straight line even when no one’s around so that in case we get spotted and get shot down, there’s a chance they shoot the decoy instead. Of course usually with a squad, it’s a 1/4 chance of making them shoot the wrong one, but a chance is a chance. And it will alert us without harm that someone has started sniping us if they shoot the decoy, or unless they just miss.
