In Kireth's most recent post about this exact topic, he blatantly lied and said he contacted Corsair and asked the questions that no one else asks, because he's a "journalist" and he self-proclaimed himself as this dozens of times. Then overtake_kkk released a PDF printout of exactly Kirth's supposed claim of questions that "HE" himself contacted Corsair when it was just a printed public release with exactly the same questions that blatant liar Kireth claimed to contact Corsair and ask. Hmmm. I mean "maybe" Kireth really did contact Corsair, which was the genesis of the PDF printout release from Corsair? I think that's unlikely. Kireth is one of those shocking blatant con artists that claim others' facts for themselves. beware. Be cautious and fact check.
Thanks for your video. Here is my analysis, which is quite simple, and I think it is accurate. Entrepreneurs are risk-takers by trade, as well as optimists, and sometimes they fly to close to the sun for comfort. When an entrepreneur and business guy extrapolate sales figures it is easy for them to believe the gravy train will go on for ever - so they lend money, which they intend to pay back with future projected earnings, and they buy impressive buildings with flipping go-cart tracks on top of them. And in the end the whole thing just blow up, as in this case, due to cash-flow, or rather the lack thereof.
Yep. So sad. I hope Fanatec can recover. As overextensive as Fanatec's products are, I'd hate to see how Corsair will slim down the product line. I really don't want to see Fanatec watered down to second tier sprinter's sweat.
Corsair will still buy them probably. Thomas Jackermeier ran the company into the ground, if he somehow found investors and came back as CEO I'd sell all my Fanatec gear & wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again! ...
Finally the algorithm shows RC again!! Watch Corsair create a simracing department in 2025.... The McLaren wheel IP ownership thing has to mean something. Corsair has a good reputation in the gaming marking and they can do it for sure
Wow. I bought the csl elite pedals during the chaotic black friday sale. They're collecting dust as i don't have time to use them yet. Lets hope they work when finally I can have some spare time, or else I'm fkd.
That was my first and (I'm claiming) last upgrade for me. Until I can catch up to Nils or Jardier's speeds, there's no justification to get anything better. *Note, there's many upgrades to this brake pedal, if you want more stiffness at the beginning, you can swap in a rubber real car shock absorber bushing. Or if you want a much squishier brake, you can use multiple of those rubber shock absorber bushings. I took out the metal spring and internal polymer bushing and replaced it with a rubber shock absorber bushing. There's very little play now. I wanted to go back to the stiffer blue spring, but can't change out the bushing withiout thinking I'll injure myself horrendously, so I keep it as modified, and don't notice it unless I "think" about it. lol. Great pedal set that shoud last the rest of my life. And entire multiple lives after. Only fail I can think of is if the aluminum casting has flaws, resulting in cracking and eventual failure.
For the way Jackermeier interacted with customers, blaming them on forums and shit, its exactly what he deserves! He's lacks accountability completely. So happy I was never an Endor customer!
Insolvency is not Bankruptcy, they are 2 entirely different business manoeuvres! Also, since when is Thrustmaster a Low End company? They are belt driven for a start (I’d class gear driven as low end) and they cost a pretty penny for their gear as well! You make it FAR too obvious that you are a Fanatec Affiliate and have a vested interest in making them look like the best on the market…
He literally said in the video that he wouldn't recommend buying anything from Fanatec right now, despite Endor saying it's fine, nothing to worry about. I wouldn't call that making it obvious he's an affiliate.
Jumping the gun a bit there mate. If you own Thrustmaster there's no need to get offended. I think 98% of people would agree Thrustmaster and Logitech are very much entry level
my first wheelbase/pedals was teh Thrustmaster T150. The brake torsion spring broke in 2 weeks. In a couple of months, the throttle spring broke. WTF. Worst product ever. Thank god the local hardware company had torsion springs. You have to be pretty handy at your own home repairs if you don't want to deal with endless days of vullshit repairmen excuses. I wouldn't wish the abyssmal FFB onto my worst enemy. Thrustmaster has a marathon to resolve their poor reputation to me. And Thrustmaster's DD wheelbase is severely overpriced. Both Logitec and Thrustmaster lost the game unless one of them acquires Fanatec.
yea i dont trust companies from asia to deliver like fanatec once did. moza has quality issues from what i can see on their reddit and as a simagic user i can say with certanty that simagic is a pain in the arse with after sales support and has some serious underlying software issues. so lets just all hope simucube makes a poor mans DD lol.
Well, big F for the Fanatec. It was a great ride for them, I think. Being the first (in my opinion) company to mass-produce direct drive wheels for so long is good, but times have changed and they're losing now, which is kinda sad. Hoping for the best, getting ready for the worst.
Given that the only real competition they had is MOZA (in the similar price range), it doesn't look good. I'm afraid MOZA could and will monopolize the midrange simracing market.
@@ParrotTheBird Monopoly by any company is bad for the consumers. Without competition sooner or later someone in the MOZA financial department will notice that they could easily charge +20% for their product and people would have no option other than buying it. Simracing community as a whole is where it is today because of the competition. Without Fanatec's CSL DD we probably still wouldn't have affordable DD bases...
Camus and Moza could very well supplant Fanatec, Logitec and Thrustmaster. Though I think even Moza would want to acquire Fanatec's brand name. Fanatec has in-game brainwashing for over a decade, and it's already paid forever. I'd buy Fanatec's brandname in a heartbeat just because I have free past advertising and dominance. And I'd continue to dominate advertising in all wheeled games. Fanatec has a winning formula. Insecure backers just can't hack the risk and temporary pitfalls. All the false drama from Kirth will eventually be his downfall when Fanatec kicks his arse. I don't even care if Fanatec fails. I only want Fanatec and Thomas to kick their feet well up Kirth's blatantly lying arse.
No. Thy th understand the videos of "lacktausch" (sadly they are only German). There is more to it, and Thomas didn't do anything right, but his pile of sh1t is still the smallest.
I'd like to see Thomas fade into just the passion and in game advertising with CEO's approval. Thomas is the heart and soul and life of Fanatec. I believe in Thomas. I cheer for Thomas. (for fun.) I want Thomas to be eternal! Not in a CEO way, but in an advertising way. Long live in-game brainwashing and youtube ads!!!!!! I want Fanatec to win! The faithless shall perish! The faithful shall be rewarded! Such has been written! (if by me or Kirth, it weighs the same!)
Sadly no. they tried to get the brand and intellectual property as cheap as possible without a real intend to safe the company. That's the reason corsair is dead for me. I'm not even a fanatec fan boy, but the level of sh1t show they startet is not acceptable. For more information try to understand the videos of the youtuber lacktausch (sadly only in German).
Yeah, this isn't teh 1980's any more. It's harder to orchestrate an unethical takeover these days. I mean score one for progress? Now Corsair has to ethically pay off all stockholders instead of defaulting them into nothing. I agree completely with StaRug's failure. Owners should never be robbed of their ownership. As long as Thomas, the majority stockholder can muster up financial backers, go Fanatec! (though I believe Moza and Camus and others will take over Fanatec technologically.) That said, the CSL DD 8Nm is more good than 99% of all buyer's skills for all time to come. So buy if you want to risk, or hold off because you are risk aversive. Heros will forever claim they saved Fanatec. Others will cower. It's the dynamic of political elections---doh--noh! The dynamics of life!!! This! This is the popcorn moment! Buy Fanatec! I want this drama to go on forever!
They never tried. They only looked for a cheap access to the brand and intellectual property, for as cheap as possible without saving the company, but even that they failed.
If, and only if, Moza can get a PS licence, Moza will really win. However, if Camus also gets a PS license, then Monatamus wins! Or is that Camonzatec! Or is it Fanozamus!

What is exacly wrong with yours CSL DD? If it is wheel disconnect problem or bootloader loop is easy to fix yourself
@@krzysztofczerwinski3230 I investigated deeper and it's rather problem with my (almost) new V2.5X. The issue doesn't occur on my old CSL WRC. So at least I have warranty on that rim. Basically after some (very often short) time the rim stops responding, all buttons & paddles stops working, LCD freezes and few seconds later FFB cuts off
Glad i didn't buy fanatec products
Great information thanks for doing the research for this video 📹 👍 😀 👏
Sad to hear but they had it coming, great for moza though hopefully they pounce onto this opportunity
got the big like from me for the cats. Subject is cool too, but the cats mate...they rule 😁
95 million Euro debt wasnt accrued in a weekend so lets be real about the management. Whats not included in this number is the outstanding payments to their suppliers in China, many millions more.
And they stopped shipping weeks ago.
They did? I just got a new dd pro a few weeks ago.
Thomas said he was not coming back into the company and that he just wanted to save it he has that in writing as well so i dont understand why they are afraid of thomas
He is the flat out majority owner of the stocks in Fanatec. In stockholder board meetings, Thomas's opinion wins. Who's not afraid of that?
managment decisions.... that's a shareholder line to press for a better deal and pin the blame... if they've reached this stage then sales levels must be well below target
That's why the 457 driver has been in beta since forever.
my problem with this situation, its the acusation that a other youtuber (Kireth) also was to blame for the bad press. and that youtuber got hate for it including: threats, wierd emails, comments among other things. even the fanatec facebook group banned him.
its ok if we dont like some youtubers, but doing this stuff is not acceptable.
In the end he was right. even if his videos feels like the "breaking news!" stuff on tv.
it i dont like this toxicity in both the simracing and the flightsim communities...
on another note: he owns a fanatec wheel too...
I hope they survive!! I need a Formula wheel with big display for my Ps5 😂
Corsair will still buy them probably. Thomas Jackermeier ran the company into the ground, if he somehow found investors and came back as CEO I'd sell all my Fanatec gear & wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again! ...
I'm just here for the "pspspspsspsps"
Finally the algorithm shows RC again!! Watch Corsair create a simracing department in 2025.... The McLaren wheel IP ownership thing has to mean something. Corsair has a good reputation in the gaming marking and they can do it for sure
Wow. I bought the csl elite pedals during the chaotic black friday sale. They're collecting dust as i don't have time to use them yet. Lets hope they work when finally I can have some spare time, or else I'm fkd.
Most likely they work just fine and will for a long while
That was my first and (I'm claiming) last upgrade for me.
Upfront like for seeing one of your cats too!
more than one, look closely ☺
maybe was a chameleon cat
His cat changed fur coats at some point in the video ;)
@@cataliniliescu82 yes! Both of them are in this video! 😻😻
Fanajunk going broke that's called karma
For the way Jackermeier interacted with customers, blaming them on forums and shit, its exactly what he deserves!
He's lacks accountability completely.
So happy I was never an Endor customer!
Great video
Insolvency is not Bankruptcy, they are 2 entirely different business manoeuvres! Also, since when is Thrustmaster a Low End company? They are belt driven for a start (I’d class gear driven as low end) and they cost a pretty penny for their gear as well!
You make it FAR too obvious that you are a Fanatec Affiliate and have a vested interest in making them look like the best on the market…
They have been since they serve the market with the t80, T150, t248
He literally said in the video that he wouldn't recommend buying anything from Fanatec right now, despite Endor saying it's fine, nothing to worry about. I wouldn't call that making it obvious he's an affiliate.
Jumping the gun a bit there mate. If you own Thrustmaster there's no need to get offended. I think 98% of people would agree Thrustmaster and Logitech are very much entry level
Dial it back bro
my first wheelbase/pedals was teh Thrustmaster T150.
I'm afraid MOZA could and will monopolize the midrange simracing market.
moza is a great company though is there a problem with it?
Ar this point Thomas just needs to step back and do whats right for the 1000s of customers who spent their own hard money into their ecosystem
@@virtualawakening2299 Nah Thomas is cooked. Egomaniac that rather see his company fail than to hand it over after mismanagement.
Offtopic: Love the cats in the background
Thomas made some real dumb decisions, eg v.expensive "real" racing wheels no-one could afford. Just make a affordable F1 wheel with screen instead!
I blame PD and GT7
I went with Moza.
I thought Corsair bought them?
Sadly no. they tried to get the brand and intellectual property as cheap as possible without a real intend to safe the company.

Need more cats…
Just sayin’
Fanatec always miss something. After all...
goddamn
How the cat just appeared :)
For those of us that own their products what about driver updates for new games or are we fucked.
didnt Corsair buy Fanatec?
they dropped the deal, hence the insolvency and this video
They never tried. They only looked for a cheap access to the brand and intellectual property, for as cheap as possible without saving the company, but even that they failed.
Moza won!😊
We all (consumers) lost.
No one is winning here
If, and only if, Moza can get a PS licence, Moza will really win. However, if Camus also gets a PS license, then Monatamus wins! Or is that Camonzatec! Or is it Fanozamus!
super expensive hardware + long waits etc... and now bankrupt? funny
Shitty quality more and more the last year they produced only mediocre quality over priced. Now they are like a Wehrmacht Submarine sinking hahahaha
So, Asetek is an Asian company? Didn't know that 🫣
asetek is not mid end nor serves the lower end
Asetek is Danish company?
@@randomcallsign I guess you were thinking more of Moza and alike? It's hard to operate on that market if you're a European country. It's sad to see Fanatec go down like this.
