Thank you YB and Herbert!
Each time you both do food reviews the food looks amazing!! Please keep doing more food history.
Loved how you went over the history of Cambodia 🇰🇭 great job selection and variety of Khmer cuisine to try. In regards to the fried fish.., You are supposed to wrap up a piece of the fish with the noodles, herbs and veggies together and dip it in that tamarind sauce. Beef lok lak should be dipped in a lime and pepper sauce. Great job showcasing Khmer cuisine! Much love ❤️
Ahh I’ll do that next time!! Everything was so good, thank you for watching ❤
Herbert aggressively eating the beef before you took it away was hilarious.
😂😂
I absolutely love how you go into detail about the history of the cuisine ❤️
Love To See You Both Trying Khmer Food (Cambodian Food) 🇰🇭
So well researched! I loved this video, made me want to try Cambodian food too!
I love that you go through the history of each culture! So glad you were able to try a Cambodian food! Also love that you take the time to try to pronounce the words!
It was so hard, hopefully it wasn’t too bad! 😅❤
Thank you for sharing Cambodia history and Cambodia food. God bless you❤
My heart is so full to see my culture’s dishes being enjoyed and represented! Your pronunciation of the dishes was so good for someone who is not native. Thank you for showcasing Khmer cuisine!

Thank you guys for sharing our Cambodian foods🇰🇭 . I love how you enjoying the foods here🥰🇰🇭
I loved it so much! Thank you for watching ❤
Thank you for presenting Cambodia's culture and food ❤
Actually the sauce with the veggies are for the fried/grilled fish. For the beef lok lak, the sauce that goes with it should be a lime, salt and black pepper dipping sauce. And usually the beef sticks usually/should come with pickle carrots and daikons/papaya.
Also for the curry, it is normally eaten with either the rice or rice noodles like you did or dip it with a French baguette as well.
I was gonna comment the same lol
This comment needs to be pinned!
Yes 100%
Thank you!! The sauce was so good with the beef 🤣 I’ll try it correctly next time ❤
Glad to see you enjoy our food. You can enjoy the food however you want but if you want to have it like the local. The beef lok lak should go with rice (a fried egg on top will be even better). The curry should go with the noodle like a noodle soup or you can just have it with baguette. The beef stick normally would be serve with pickle vegetable and is amazing as a baguette filling! 😊
First time watching a vid of yours in a while, YB. Didn’t expect the new intro, looked great 👍 I also liked the history of Cambodian food and how it was almost lost during the 1970s. Looking forward to more new, exotic food videos.
Herbert with the beef was so funny.
I love how you guys are open to trying anything new. It’s hard for me to introduce anything new to my boyfriend so I love seeing how open Herbert is to trying new things.

The beef loc lak should come with a lime salt and pepper sauce. The brown sauce u dipped was for the fried fish along with the veggies. I enjoyed watching you eat them all. Thank you for trying khmai food. ❤

Thanks for reviews Cambodian food
Appreciate you doing research about Cambodia history ❤ and ofc try our foods 😊
Khmer food is all about flavor and authentic. Nice video.
There is a really good book called "First They Killed My Father" by Loung Ung. It is about her and her family's first hand experience of living through the khmer rouge regime. It is really emotional, but really highly recommend it. If you decide to read it, I recommend reading "Lucky Child", right after. She writes about her experience of being a refugee.
Wow.. it must have been awful. The things I’ve read on it are horrible 😭
Thank you so much that share about my country, specially thank that like Cambodian food 🙏❤️
Thanks for your shearing 😊😊😊
Good luck to both of you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
The Chicken curry most of Khmer People eat mix with noodle. Not with rice. Just a little with rice. Thank u so much for reviews our Khmer Traditional foods.🙏🥰😍

I am glad you enjoy khmer food. Hope you have a chance to visit Cambodia someday.
Me too!!❤
Oh my god Cambodian food! Seeing our food represented! Yes!
Your pronunciation was actually not bad. I feel like Cambodian reading using Hangul is probably closer to the pronunciation.
So many of these dishes are like our home so I’m happy to see you both tried them. A lot of these dishes too are very Khmer-centric in the way that you can’t find them in the surrounding countries.
Thank you so much! Or as we say Aw kun chran!
You did amazing on the pronunciation on Khmer Food. Thank you for show case our food on your channel❤❤❤
Thank you 🥹❤

The Kuy Teav Phnom Penh you may try when it hot/warm you will like it more. For Beef with the stick you may try with pickles vegetable it would test great. Thank you for sharing Cambodian foods. 🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thanks for try and share Khmer foods. Yes, it is hard to pronounce the Khmer words but you did it well. Beef stick taste better if you eat them while it's hot and eat with papaya salad. and I wish you have tried "Fish Amok or Chicken Amok". It's one of the most popular Khmer foods. Thanks
im cambodian, so happy to see you try our country’s food!❤
thank you for giving Cambodia recognition, love the video and appreciate you trying Khmer food
I loved it! Thank you for watching ❤
Some of my favorite Khmer dish. Grilled or deep fried meat are typically washed down or eaten with mango/papaya salad or pickled food. You can drastically change the profile of the curry or nohm-bahn-chok by squeezing lots of lime and sprinkle salt or fish sauce - half of the time, I like mine like that.
not me sitting and watching this video at 1:00AM and you guys literally are eating all of my fav food 😭

🙏Thank you so much for sharing my country❤
Love you from Cambodia 🇰🇭
You nailed the pronunciation. Most of these food taste so so much better if they still warmed.
Sach ko Ang,usually comes with papaya pickled and toasted baguette w/ butter.
Sach ko lok lak also better with rice and you mix and eat it like bibimbap.
Curry Chicken is normally eaten with the Cambodian Rice Noodle or baguettes. The way to eat it with rice noodle is the same as u were eating Khmer noodle (Green soup) with all those veggies and a hint of lemon squeezed.
