That fire area you passed by coming into Shasta County was September of 2021. You'll see some of that on the Rubicon as well because there was a big fire up there as well.
that "closed weight station" is just north of Woodburn lol, I drive right by it every day on my commute to and from work. Before you said where you were at I was going "that looks like I-5 in the valley... like at the weight station..." LMAO
Hey Casey. Great video. 'Used to backpack in and camp on the opposite side of Buck Island Lake and would see the Jeeps come in and set up camp. Now we have a JKU, no more hiking! I'm old now anyway. Say, 'would like to know the name of the rock sliders on the JT; 'will consider them if they are available. 'Been watching for a couple of years; you and Sean are definitely "Dirty and Dangerous". Keep the videos coming, and thanks!
How reliable is your eco-diesel wrangler compared with the Gas one like the 3.6 V6 etc.. Except Suzuki Gypsy (samurai) 4wd other 4x4 like Isuzu- D-max, Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi Pajero are diesel powered unlike in the USA and Canada most midsize and full size trucks are powered by petrol.
Interesting. From this safe couch perspective, it seems it would have been a good idea to start out with a trailer, in case any of the Jeeps suffered a major problem. The big diesel doesn’t care what it’s towing anyways. 🤷♂️( and yes, it is a Lazyboy ) 🤙
Hi Casey. I joined up yesterday so I could see some of the extra bonus vidoes but you page still says I`m not a member. I couldn`t find any other way of contacting you hence the message here.
Ya not sure. I see you on the Coffee Crew tier. The Adventure Crew has the extra content. However when I look at your membership it shows as being a member for 0 days which is weird. Maybe try cancelling and rejoining? I don't have much to control otherwise and you may need to talk to RUclips support.
What's the max GVW on an EcoDiesel? I always figured it would be less than the Grand Cherokee. My gas Trailhawk is 6500# max, and with all my armor, winch, accessories, full fuel, 5 gallons of drinking water, all my camping gear (ground tent, not RTT), and me (with a full bladder) cant out to 6250.
@@scottreid110I drove up there this past winter as it was a long term bucket list item for me. One of the most amazing and beautiful trips of my life.
Flat towed my old TJ and now my Jk all over without issues. I suspect the wheel alignment he just got is the culprit. If you don’t know Jeeps, don’t touch it.
Flat towed my brand new 20th anniversary 392 over 3000 miles this summer (behind super c motorhome) Took delivery of the 2023 392 Rubicon and hit the road almost immediately. Your friend has a ghetto looking flat tow setup. 🤷🏽♂️
More comfortable then driving it. No trailer to deal with once getting somewhere. Shorter for taking on the ferry off Vancouver Island. I prefer a trailer.

"A nice array and mix of vehicles" he says after listing six variations of Jeep Wrangler 😆 I love it

You know, Nate from Dirtlifestyle is around Tacoma. I'm a little north of Seattle if you ever need to leave a rig for safe keeping.
Looks like a solid road trip heading down to the Rubicon.

Thanks for watching! They are Rockhard 4x4
@@Casey250 Thanks, we appreciate getting right back to us. We remember the days of your Grand Cherokee! You did some outrageous work with that Jeep!
nice seeing you back in the Eco Diesel 👍
Greetings from S.W. Ontario, Canada. Appreciate the trials and tribulations of your road trip. Next, the Rubicon Trail!
Great video Casey. I’ve been wanting to build a 2 door jl on 40s. Excited to see this whole series.
I'd maybe talk to Ryan about that lol. His ring gear isn't happy.
@@Casey250 I would build it on Dana 60s. I’m a dana60 lover. Lol
This is the way for sure
I think I might have to start towing my daily...

Your standard shot from the dash while rolling on the highway - is that stabilized in camera or in post? Because that is really solid stabilization.
Random question: how did you rip your passenger seat?

@Casey250, I like your shades. Where did you get them? :)
They are pit vipers, you can order them direct from their website.
How much weight did he have for this trip in the jeep behind the rear tires. And a tow bar should be level or max 1 1/2” below bumper
Great vid! What wheels do you have? I really like the red accent

The hidden hero in the video is Heather for taking the wheel of my truck after I only got 1 hour of sleep on our first night.
Hey @gretchen_trouble nice jacket! Use to live in Inuvik for 14 years...did yiu live there or just visit?🙂

1 hour is plenty. Should have just mainlined some monsters 🤣🤣
@@Casey250next time I'll bring my IV equipment. 😂
A lot of truck stops in the U.S. , if you’re now using a fleet credit card you need to go inside to pay.
lol del taco
I thought Canada used KG, kilometers etc. And not lbs, miles etc.
Mostly but often things like weight and height are still often reffered to in lbs and feet, but its dying out for sure.
Would you delete your diesel?
yes, but not until i get a HFP recall done
@Casey250 OK, keep us posted on that I want to bad but am nervous

I was thinking it was front end alignment also.
Crap Casey when near Seattle you got what you need.

6900# .. SIX THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED.. Dude that is INSANE!!! HELL NO!!!
What's the idea of flat towing? Why not drive it or put it on a trailer?
More comfortable then driving it. No trailer to deal with once getting somewhere. Shorter for taking on the ferry off Vancouver Island.

@@Casey250no trailer, but the second car that is the towing car. So what's the difference?😂
When you get somewhere or camp you don't have to deal with a trailer either parking it / storing it or driving around with it.

I agree! My F-150 FX-4 fully loaded is under 6100# with a V8.
