8th Graders Go to Pohnpei

We are planning to take the trip in March, 2018, but need to raise the money as soon as possible to secure plane tickets.
Even though the song/skit is silly, the message rings true. I want to encourage my kids to take learning outside the classroom, to inspire them that education isn't just about the classwork and bookwork. Pohnpei is home to Palikir, which is the capital of Micronesia, and (as is mentioned during the song) they would have the opportunity to visit it, to meet the president and learn more about their government. Of course, Pohnpei is full of many other opportunities as well, several of which are mentioned in the song. Ultimately, the trip will provide an unforgettable learning experience and memories that will last a lifetime.
