That wasn't the influence of wearing of dreadlocks in Jamaica. Firstly, Leonard Howell, the founder of the Rastafarian movements, referred to himself as Gyan Gun Guru Maragh. These Hindi words translate to mean Gyan (wisdom), Gun (virtue), Guru (teacher), and Maragh (Tough King) and are indicative of the influence of the Indian culture on Howell. His followers shortened the name to ‘Tough Gong.’
Rastafarians likewise also adopted this custom of name changes (with wearing of dreadlocks from Hindu sadhus and the smoking of Ganja) albeit of African orientation. All this was due to the cultural influences the Indian indentured laborers brought to Jamaica way back in the late 1800s.

The man have a Dominican accent . It is a Caribbean accent which is similar to a Jamaican accent but their is a difference. The Antiguan accent is very similar to a Jamaican accent, but still their is a difference.l
