Hi! I'm sorry you're still not well. It's so difficult to do anything when you feel bad. 😓
I'm desperately trying to keep up with my SALs! I think I'll start slipping a bit, though. I'd like to stitch other things, too, not just those. The 3 small ones will be fine, but the 2 big ones will probably just fall behind a bit. Oh, well, it is what it is. The only person I have to please with them is me. 😁
Make no mistake, weeding our garden is a daily task, and it STILL has lots of weeds. The daily rain doesn't help, either. It just waters them in! It's also just too hot and humid to work outside as much as I should. It's too easy to get heatstroke.
I hope you start feeling better, my friend! ❤️ Take care of yourself!

Hi Sherry! Yummy, the lemon balm jelly sounds marvelous. Really enjoying seeing your Herbalist SAL coming along. Sushi Cat is so cute. Femurs and Fungi is looking fabulous. I like your stubby candle! Nice progress on the rest of the WIPs. Sorry your arthritis has been flaring...danged rain and weather pressure changes. I love cucumbers as well. Things I miss about a garden or living in a rural area where all your friends plant gardens and you get their excess. I will trade you some cicadas and take some of your tree frogs. The cicadas are absolutely setting off my tinnitus. If you decide you want to sell some cat toys, let me know. A trip to an aquarium sounds delightful. Glad to hear your depression is easing a bit. I have been struggling with it more intensely since the end of May and what would have been my wedding anniversary. It was so much easier with the first divorce when he was an abuser and I just wanted away from him before something really bad happened and he had literally killed the love I had for him whereas with the second marriage it was his alcoholism and the stress from it that I could no longer handle, not that I didn't still love the man I married but not the alcoholic he had become. Well, I turned another year older and am still here. Feeling a bit better finally so hopefully will be avoiding the sinus surgery for a while at least. Otherwise, went to Austin to the Creative Reuse store and found some cross stitch goodies. That is what I told my daughter I wanted for my birthday so we went the day after and then tomorrow (Wednesday) my son-in-law is slow cooking ribs on the grill for me and mom made my usual request of a German chocolate cake so will be overstuffed tomorrow. Take care of yourself. Happy crafting and gardening. Dawn

Oh! Happy birthday!!! 🎈🎂🎈 I wish I'd known! Believe me, the cicadas are just as bad here. Their noise is incessant. You know, it seems that just hearing the cicadas makes me feel even sweatier and more miserable. The hummingbirds are back, too. Our feeders are busy! Honestly, my first husband was abusive. Don't miss him at all. My second one slept with every woman he met, so I don't miss him, either. Luckily, I've finally found my Prince Charming, and I'm utterly grateful every day. I've had several alcoholics in my family, including my grandfather, so I know the kind of stress and hurt they cause. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. It sounds like you had a fun birthday trip! That's awesome! We're preparing for the tropical storms. They're heading our way, so I'm sure that has something to do with my arthritis flaring up. *sigh* Getting old is just so much fun. 🙄 I'm sure that by morning, Artemis will be in full panic. The storms are supposed to hit by then. Tomorrow will likely be a stitchy day full of rain. Enjoy your birthday dinner! It sounds yummy!
      Take care!
      Sherry
