In this episode we are still in Albania and visit a military base where we explore decommissioned ships and old vehicles. We also go to the Kucove military base and see some old bunkers in the mountains.

Albania had one of the largest canal navies in the adriatic.
We used to regularly see their subs looking for enemy pike

As an albanian i absolutely agree. For 40 years we were ruled by an oppressive regime identical to the one in North Korea. Our Leader impoverished the country by building more than 700 thousand bunkers like these in the video. Wasted money in my opinion.
@@JJ-zg7ug yes. He built it because he was a scared leader and he was building it while the nation didn't even have enough money for 50.000 bunkers. And they their whole country was starving and the bunkers are useles.
That bunker is for artillery shield, long range artillery.
Ok but then Albania was a military power (for its size). For many other things Albania was better when Enver Hoxha was alive. Now the politicians sold everything to other countries

Albania has a ton of these bunkers every here and there. Uder the Enver Hoxha dictatorship they had to build bunkers for every family. There were over 650k of them, and lot of them lasted to these day as the symbols of fallen regime.

The entrance of the tunel was blocked on purpose to stop traffickers from using it as a depot

Visited there last september. All the doors in the bigger ship was welded shut so theres no entry anymore. Btw did someone of you lost lenshood in Fier? Founded one near the big tower with nice view of the area.

Those "bunkers" are actually called magazines. Munitions were stored there.

OK, last comment. Please get some good boots with ankle support. Rolling/spraining an ankle could be life threatening if one or both of you become trapped. A good first aid kit is a must. Not just band aids but some bigger bandages, tourniquet, ace wraps, and plenty of water in case you get stuck some where. A decent folding knife for each of you and some spare batteries or a back up flashlight are a good idea. I know you don't want to carry too much weight but it could save you if you get into trouble inside a dangerous structure. Thanks and be careful.

But with a beautiful atmosphere… there’s little light coming in and with the blue water, some machines like cranes are in there. Phantastic to take photos. A few years ago I was creating a normal holiday in Albania but this was the exception and for me like the jackpot … no ships in there

From what I could see of the fighter jets, they didn't look as if they were state of the art fighter jets anymore. Probably haven't been flown in years.

All jets were retired in 2004. The last jets to fly were the Chengdu J7 (mig 21)....
