    I really enjoyed the swing. Such a beautiful way to see the sunset.

      I did also it gave me some ideas for my tiny home because I never thought about suspending the swing in the way that they did here but after testing it out, it is definitely not only sturdy but a beautiful way to retreat for the evening to watch the final moments of the sun

      Absolutely larger sites are sometimes hard to find even though we have smaller vehicles due to limitations of the amount of people which can stay in one space or the amount of vehicles that can be parked in a single space for example, state park sometimes allow up to eight people, but they only allow two vehicles so it makes it a little bit daunting sometimes

    I love the peaceful drive up there. I do not mind dirt road or gravel roads. I loved the swing there. Sometime you need to camp at Reelfoot Lake where the earthquake was back in the 1800’s and caused the Mississippi River to run backwards.

      @BunnyPlaysHere it's becoming more difficult for people to find places to park or camp, I love sharing the land. I'm trying to figure out what else to do with it actually. I'd love to get things set up so others can enjoy it now and long after I'm gone. 😊

    As a west coast transplant to South Carolina, I have discovered that on the east coast they have Wildlife (or Wilderness) Management Areas. in Virginia, for example, they offer boondocking (they call it primitive camping) with an annual pass ($23). Just some east coast things I am discovering. North Carolina offers FREE primitive camping in the national forests.

  • @catpatrick3838
    @catpatrick3838 Месяц назад +3

    Awesome campsite! I love they provide a fire extinguisher. Do you have an America the Beautiful annual pass? It's like $20 for a year and a lot of camp grounds give you a discount if you have it, especially state level. Even the Corp of Engineers sites all over Arkansas give you a discounted rate and they're pretty cheap to begin with. Plus you get free entry to a lot of museums, national monuments, free parking at trailheads (think Sedona), all kinds of perks. I got my first one at White Sands years ago, and get a new one every year. It practically pays for itself the first time you use it.

      Normally, we use water fill stations or purchase water while we are traveling to keep her water filled especially if we don’t know if there are going to be a amenities at a location. We are going to this is important. It’s just part of some thing that we’ve learned overtime.
